                                                                                                                                                                        1001 AD - 1010 AD

1001 AD *105.Brian Boru - of the Tributes the Heberian Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Dal gCais King of Northern Munster / Thomond, and the  41st King of Cashel / Munster, was by now well and truly in control of Mogha's Half / Southern Ireland, so he gathered up his fleet and sailed up the River Shannon where he laid siege to the invading Teutonic Scandinavian Vikings who had set themselves up there at Athlone in Co. Westmeath in the south - west of Northern Leinster east of the River Shannon and while there he also decided to once again "besiege" the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill kingdom of Meath / Midhe in Northern Leinster of *107.Malachy 11 / Mael Sechnaill the Clann Cholmain 174th King of Ireland. *107.Malachy 11 was by now well and truly aware that he was personally facing a determined Irish opposition also that would be capable of doing something really outstanding against the increasing presence of the Vikings and in the interest of the cause he was to decide it was time to accept *105.Brian Boru as the over - King instead, and in this regard he would give over hostages to *105.Brian Boru not only from his own Sept, but also those that he was holding from the Connacht Province situated to the west of the River Shannon. *107.Malachy 11 in desperation "previously" had sent the chief poet from the kingdom of Ulaidh back up to the north to the Ulster Province to "petition" his Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill "kinsman," who were now under the leadership of 106.Aed O Niall in the kingdm of Craeb Tulca, who was the Heremonian Cenel nEogain King in Tyrone / Tir Eogan (The Land of 91.Eogan), and by now also for all purposes basically the Heremonian King of Ulster Province, as he had desperately wanted him to come down from the north and "support" him against *105.Brian Boru. *105.Brian Boru had previously demanded that *107.Malachy 11 "abdicate" his overall Kingship position in the best interests of all of the Irish Septs in Ireland, so that he could instead take over the the "overall responsibility" for an all out attack on the ever growing "threat" and menace that was the Vikings and *107.Malachy 11 had also since received a reply from 106.Aed O Niall who had stated that, "He would not risk his life in battle against the Heberian Dal gCais Sept of Northern Munster /Thomond, in defence of sovereignty, for any man."

Cahalan O Corcoran the Heberian Cianacht Abbot of Devenish in Co. Fermanagh in the south - west of the Ulster Province, died this year, and from now on Kennelly / Cenn Faelad who was to be the Abbot of Clones / Cluain Eois (The Meadow of Eos) in Co. Monaghan in the central south - west of the Ulster Province until 1025 AD, was to have among his possessions the copy of the Gospels that originally belonged to St. Molaisse / St. Laisren who had been from Devenish Island situated in Loch Erne in Co. Fermanagh who had previously been a contemporary of 94.St. Columbcille / St. Columba (The Dove of the Church.)

1002 AD - 1014 AD *107.Malachy 11 / Mael Sechnaill the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Clann Cholmain "southern" Ui Niaill 174th King of Ireland was to now "accept" *105.Brian Boru / Borumha - of the Tributes the Heberian Dal gCais 41st King of Cashel / Munster as the 175th High King of Ireland / Ard Ri Gaidel Erenn until 1014 AD when *105.Brian Boru would be slain by the maraudering Vikings in Dublin during the decisive Battle of Clontarf, but at this time *105.Brian Boru was also to be Inaugurated as the "Imperator Scottorum" on the Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province, as the first and the last "undisputed" High King of Ireland. (It had been 600 years since the death of *89.Criffan / Crimthann mac Fidaig who had been the previous Heberian 125th King of Tara / Ireland, and once again there was now a Heberian King of Ireland who was also descended from 84.Ailill Oluimm the 1st Heberian King of Munster and *37.Eber Fionn - of Fair Complexion the direct male line ancestor of all of the Heberian Septs. *105.Brian Boru was a son of 104.Kennedy / Cennetig, who was the father also of 105.Duncan / Donncuan who would become the direct male line ancestor of the O Kennedys of Co. Clare, Co. Tipperary / Ormond and eventually Co. Wexford. and he was also the father of 105.Ahern / Eachtigern the direct male line ancestor of the O Ahernes, and the father also of 105.Mahon who had been the previous 39th Dal gCais King of Cashel / Munster. *105.Brian Boru was to conduct himself as a High King of Ireland should, with great pomp and splendour, and ensured that good Celtic works were carried out throughout all of Ireland, and as *105.Brian Boru had not been elected as per the tenets of the Brehon Law many of the Tuaths were to still try and isolate him, and this was to still see the need for many individual personal "struggles" to achieve his final goal of "overall control" in Ireland to allow him to take the Viking menace head on. To this end he was to go to the "north" of Ireland with his combined followers from the Munster Province, the Connacht Province, and the Leinster Province including Meath and Dublin in Co. Dublin, to ensure his "overall authority" further up into Northern Leinster and the Ulster Province, but despite this great force he discovered that he still could not gain any further subjection or "hostages there," and he knew that in reality he would never really be the High King - without opposition until he subjugated the Irish Septs in Ulster Province in the north of Ireland also. (There were to be only 12 Irish Kings who could be actually classify as High Kings / Ard - Ri Erenn according to the "Annals of Ulster," and this included 8 from both of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill Septs, *105.Brian Boru from the Heberian Dal gCais, and 3 others as there had been no High Kings previously under the "tenets" of the Brehon Law before the Viking invasions began bringing about "The survival of the Fittest," which then saw the advent of *103. Malachy 1st Mor - the Greater, who had been the 167th High King of Ireland, and possibly also prior to this *90.Niall - of the Nine Hostages the 126th High King of Tara / Ireland the direct male line ancestor of the Heremonian Ui Niail Septs.

1003 AD 110.Kelly Ceallach mac Giolla Patrick the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory who had his territory in the south - west of Southern Leinster / Co. Kilkenny, who was a son of 109.Diarmait mac Giolla Patrick, was slain this year by his cousin, 110.Donough / Donnchad, the son of 109.Gilla Patraic a previous Ui Connla King of Ossory, who was the son of his father's brother, 110.Donough mac Giolla Patraic / Padraig (Fitz Patrick), and 110.Donogh mac Giolla Pataric now became the "new" King of Ossory, and he was to prove to be very "strong" in this position and lift the  Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla Ossory Sept's profile so much, that he would also become an outright Heremonian Ui Connla King of Leinster also for 6 years from 1033 AD until 1039 AD and would be the "only one" ever from the Ui Connla kingdom of Ossory to do so.

Reginald who was now the Viking Danish King in Co. Waterford constructed the 80' high Reginald's Tower at Waterford on the coast in the south - east of the Munster Province.

1004 AD *105.Brian Boru - of the Tributes who was now the Heberian Dal gCais 175th High King of Ireland still "with oppostion" tried to extend his overall authority once again into the north of Ireland, but failed again, as the Ulaid Irish Septs there in the north - east still would not "ally" with him to assist in his challenge to the growing authority there in the Ulster Province of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Septs, especially the Cenel nEogain Sept under 106.Aed O Niaill who was the 39th King of Aileach, but instead the Ulaid Septs in UlsternProvince decided to take up the initiative themselves and the "Battle of Craeb Tulca" occurred this year between the Ulaid Septs in the east of the Ulster Province and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Septs under 106.Aed O Niall, at the Cenel nEogain "Inauguration" site of Craeb Tulcha. 106.Eochy / Eochaidh mac Ardgail the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Fiatach 45th King of Ulaid, who was one of the 3 sons of 105.Ardgal the previous 42nd King of Ulaidh, who would all become Dal Fiatach Kings of Ulaidh in their own right, combined with Donogh O Lynch / Donnchad Loingsech the Gaelic Milesian Irian Dal nAraidi King, and many of the Ulaidh Princes were slain during the terrible conflict that ensued. Despite this tremendous setback to these two main individual Irish Septs in the north of Ireland the fortunes of these two Ulaid Septs were to be eventually saved by the sudden death of their victor, 106.Aedh O Niall the King of Craeb Tulca and Cenel nEogain 39th King of Aileach, but despite this reprieve so many of the Ulaidh aristocratic warrior Sept's / Derb Fine / True Family was to be "annihilated" during this particular vicious battle, that there was from now on to be great "confusion over" the future succession to the Kingship of Ulaidh itself.

107.Flaherty / Flaithbertach an Trostain O Niall -  of the Pilgrim's Staff also from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept now became the new 40th King of Aileach in Tir Eogain / Tyrone until 1030 AD, who was a son of 106.Murtough / Muirchertach O Niall, the son of *105.Donnell / Domhnall Ard Macha O Niall the previous 173rd King of Ireland, with the Cenel nEogain Sept having their main Inauguration Stone at Tullahogue / Tulach Oc near Dungannon in Co. Tyrone in Central Ulster, where it was to be "destroyed" later on in the late 16th Century AD by Mountjoy, the destructive English Lord Deputy, on behalf of Elizabeth 1st the Welsh Tudor Anglo - Norman Queen of England. The Cenel nEogain's Inauguration Stone Slab / Lecc was actually situated on the slope of the mound outside of the fort / rath where they had their Nemeton / Nemed Bile / Sacred Oak Grove, which to fell or burn was to be construed as a "deadly insult" against them. The Sacred Mounds themselves were usually based on a previous Neolithic or Bronze Age Burial Cairns.

*105.Brian Boru the Heberian Dal gCais 175th High King of Ireland still "with opposition" now had professors teach wisdom and knowledge at Innis Fallen, Clonard, Bangor and Armagh monasteries, which were the higher schools of Irish "scholarship and piety" at this time, and he also purchased many books from wherever he could obtain them to replace those that had been "destroyed" during the previous Viking raids where their only goal was to steal the "precious metals" they were encased in and "drown" the precious books.

1005 AD *105.Brian Boru the Heberian Dal gCais 175th High King of Ireland still "with opposition" went to the Armagh monastery in Co. Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province where he stayed for a week recognizing its "religious primacy" over the other Abbeys in Ireland, and in doing so he received it's "support," while accompanied by his secretary Maol Suthain O Carroll, who was himself a Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Conaire Muscraige King in his own right, who officially entered *105.Brian Boru's name in the Book of Armagh there as the "Imperator Scottorum." *105.Brian Boru promised to pay them a personal tribute giving them 20 ounces of gold on the altar there towards a "Shrine" for a cover for the Book of Armagh, and Maor - the Keeper of the Book of Armagh was to receive "land" to protect it' and from then on due to this important responsibility the descendants of Maor became known then as the Mheic Maor (Descended from a son of Maor) and later still became known as Mac Moyre (Descended from a Son of the Keeper) whose Family were able to protect it until 1662 AD when Florentinus Moyre was to be the last one from the Family to do so. *105.Brian Boru's sojourn this time into the Ulster Province was to also finally gain "hostages" there from 107.Flaherty an Trostain O Niall who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 40th King of Aileach in the Ulster Province, but hostages were still "not received" from their kinsmen the other Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill Sept who had their particular territory in Tir Conaill / Tyrconnell (The Land of 90.Conall Gulban) now known as Co. Donegal / The Fort of the Strangers) in the far north - west of Ulster Province.

*105.Brian Boru - of the Tributes the Heberian Dal gCais 175th High King of Ireland still "with opposition" who was now also acknowledged at Armagh in Co. Armagh as the "Imperator Scotorum," called on all the fleets of the Norsemen from Co. Dublin, Co. Waterford, Co. Wexford and the Munster Province to join in with his agenda, and also levied tributes from the Anglo -Saxons and the Britons / Brythons to Clyde, and from the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Cenel Eoghan Scottii in their territory in Argyle (The Land of the Gael) in the Highlands of Scotland.

107.Flaherty an Trostain O Niall - of the Pilgrim Staff the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 40th King of Aileach besieged the kingdom of Ulidia / Ulaidh in the east of the Ulster Province to increase his overall "personal" authority in the Ulster Province and Cu Uladh the Heremonian Dal Fiatach Leth Cathail King there was slain, who had been a son of Angus / Oenghus, and he was to gain seven hostages for their "good conduct" there from then on.

1007 AD *105.Brian Boru the Heberian Dal gCais 175th High King of Ireland still "with opposition" conducted an expedition once again to the north of Ireland into the Ulster Province to try and finally achieve total overall authority, and although he gained more hostages there, he still received "none" from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill Sept in Tyrconnell / Tir Conaill (The Land of 91.Conall Gulban) who had their territory in the far - north - west in Co. Donegal / The Fort of the Strangers. A further 4 Irish Kings were to be "slain" this year in the Ulster Province in individual conflicts there, while they were still trying to work out who now had the real overall "authority" in that particular region while the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Mac Mahons / Ui Mathghamhna, and the Heremonian Dal Fiatach Mac Dunlevys / Mheic Duinnshliebe from the Dal Fiatach Ulaid Sept, who were to be descended from 109.Dunlevy / Donn Sliebe, were in the future to also "contest" for the Kingship of Ulster in their own respective territories there for 3 future "generations."

Feeling the overall Viking tyranny was now over *105.Brian Boru was by now "mostly" acknowledged all over Ireland as the Ard Ri / High King, and to further spread his influence he revived the great Fair / Aonarch of Tailltenn situated 4 mile to the south - east of Kells in Co. Meath at Rath Dubh (The Black Fort) and it was then to be held there until the future death of *115.Rory O Connor who would eventually become the last real and 183rd King of Ireland, although also - in opposition, after the coming Anglo - Norman English Invasion in 1169 AD. *105.Brian Boru - of the Tributes was now to receive "tributes" / Boru from all of the kingdoms and would reign for 10 years, during which time he firmly established the Irish Celtic Catholic Church with it's main seat at Armagh in Co.
