He was married to Eleanor the daughter of Thomas Fitz Gerald the Knight of the Valley and he was to die in 1551 AD, after they had produced 3 sons and 3 daughters, 122.Dermod, 122.Teague of Smithstown Castle who married Mor the daughter of Donnell O Brien and they produced 123.Turlough and 123.Honoria who married Richard Wingfield the ancestor of the English Viscounts Powerscourt, 123.Slaine married Teague O Brien the son of Connor O Brien the "third" English Earl of Thomond and 123.Hannah married Donough O Brien.  Of his 3 daughters, Margaret who was born in 1535 AD  married Richard the second English Earl of Clanricarde, Slaine married secondly Sir Donnell O Brien of Dough and Honoria married Sir Dermod O Shaughnessy of Gort. 122. Dermod O Brien his eldest son, who died in 1557 AD became the "second" English Baron of Inchiquin only. as 122.Donogh Ramhar O Brien, his cousin, became the "second" English Earl of Thomond. 123.Murrough O Brien, his son, became the "third" English Baron of Inchiquin who was married to Annabella the daughter of Christopher Nugent the ninth English Lord Delvin, and was to die in 1573 AD as the father of; 124.Murrough O Brien who became the "fourth" English Baron of Inchiquin who married Margaret the daughter of Sir Thomas Cusack the English Lord Chancellor and English Lord Justice of The English Pale, and produced 125.Dermod  O Brien, 125.Teague O Brien who married Slaine the daughter of Murrough O Brien of Ara and Slaine who married William Dongan of Dublin, and was to die in 1597 AD. His eldest son, 125.Dermod O Brien was the 5th English Baron of Inchiquin who married Ellen the daughter of Sir Edward Fitz Gerald of Ballymoe and Cloyne, and produced 4 sons and 3 daughters, 126.Murrough O Brien, 126.HenryO Brien, 126.Christopher O Brien who became a Lieutenant Colonel for the Irish Confederacy at Kilkenny and the Baron of Inchiquin and married Honoria the daughter of Turlough Mac Mahon of Clonderlaw. One daughter, 126.Honoria married Anthony Stoughton of Rattoo in Co. Kerry. His oldest son; 126.Murrough O Brien an Toitean - of the Burnings became the "sixth" English Baron of Inchiquin  and the "first" English Earl of Inchiquin and married Elizabeth the daughter of Sir William Ledger the English appointed President of Munster and produced William, John, Elizabeth, Honoria, Mary and Finola. 127.William O Brien his eldest son was the "second" English Earl of Inchiquin who died at his castle at Rostellan near Cloyne in 1691 AD who had married Mary the daughter of Edward Villiers and produced 128.James O Brien who was his second son who died in 1771 AD who was the M.P. for Youghal whose second son, 129.Edward who was to die in 1801 AD was the father of 130.James O Brien who was the "third" English Marquis of Thomond who died in 1855 AD, and the English Earldom of Thomond "ended" with him becoming "extinct," while the English Barony of Inchiquin then went to 131.Sir Lucius O Brien of Dromoland from the Sept below. 128.Donnell O Brien, a younger brother of 128.James above,"migrated" to Co. Waterford and died in 1768 whose son, 129.James O Brien was born in 1730 and died in 1800 and was the father of 130.John O Brien who was born in 1765 and died in 1840, who was married to Catherine who was to die in 1860 the daughter of Matthew Carroll of Lahardown near Portlaw in Co. Waterford, a descendant of the Carrolls of Littleluna in Co. Offaly, and produced 7 sons and 4 daughters. 131.Martin O Brien  who was to die in 1858 was married to Honoria Mullen and produced 4 sons and 2 daughters who all "migrated" to the U.S.A., 131.John, Thomas O Brien who married Ann Dean from Co. Mayo and produced one son and 4 daughters, Martin, Mary Anne, Cecelia Clara, Amelia and Ann. Michael  O Brien was his third son and Matthew Patrick his 4th son, while his 2 daughters were Mary and Bridget. 132,John O Brien b.1829 and died in 1865 who was his eldest son married Margaret Cusack from Co. Cavan and produced 133.Thomas O Brien b.1861.

121.Murrough O Brian the "first" English Earl of Thomond's "third" son was;  

    122.Donough O Brien, who was the youngest brother of 122.Dermod O Brien, was to die in 1582 AD, as the ancestor of the O Briens - of Dromoland Castle, as his father had given him the castles and territories of Dromoland, Leamanagh, Bally Connelly, Corcomroe etc, and he had married Slaine the daughter of John Mac Namara Fionn - of Cratloe and they produced 2 daughters, Margaret and Finola who married Uaithne O Loughlin - of Moyrin in Co. Clare, and a son, 123.Connor O Brien of Leamanagh who was to die in 1603 AD who was married to Slaine the daughter of Sir Turlough O Brien of Dough Castle and produced 124.Donough O Brien who was knighted by Charles 1st and died in 1634 AD  and was married to Honoria the daughter of Richard Wingfield the ancestor of Viscounts Powerscourt and produced 3 sons and one daughter, 125.Connor, 125 Donough of Tobbermaile, 125.Murrough O Brien who married Hannah the daughter of his kinsman, Turlough O Brien of Cluonan and produced Teague, Margaret who married Turluogh O Brien the son of Teague O Brien of Dromore. 125.Connor O Brien of Leamanagh who died in 1651 AD who was his eldest son married Mary the daughter of Sir Turlough Mac Mahon and produced 2 sons and 2 daughters, 126.Sir Donough O Brien, Teague who married the daughter of Capt. Edward Fitz Gerald of Carrigowrane, Honoria who married Donough O Brien of Dough, Mary who married Donough Mac Namara. 126.Sir Donogh O Brien of Leamanagh and Dromoland who died in 1717 AD was created a Baronet in 1686 AD and was married twice, first to Lucia the daughter of Sir George Hamilton and produced Lucius O Brien and secondly to Eliza the daughter of Major Deane and produced Henry, Honoria, Elizabeth. 127.Lucius O Brien who died in 1717 AD was married to Catherine the daughter of Thomas Keightley of Hertfordshire and produced 2 sons and 2 daughters, Sir Edward O Brien, Thomas, Anne and Lucia. 128.Sir Edward O Brien of Dromoland was the "second" English Baronet who died in 1765 who was married to Mary the daughter of Hugh Hickman of Fenloe and produced Sir Lucius Henry O Brien, Donogh, Edward, Henrietta, Anne, Mary, Catherine who married Charles Mac Donnell of New Hall in Ennis and Lucia. 129.Sir Lucius Henry O Brien of Dromoland who was the "third" English Baronet died in 1795 AD, who in 1768 AD had married Nichola the daughter of Robert French M.P. of Monivea Castle  in Co. Galway, and produced Sir Edward O Brien, Lucius, Robert. Donogh, Henry and Nichola. 130.Sir Edward O Brien of Dromoland who was the fourth English Baronet, who died in 1837 AD, who married in 1799 AD Charlotte the daughter of William Smith of Cahirmoyle Newcastle West in Co. Limerick and produced 5 daughters, Granna, Anne, Harriet, Catherine,  Leney and 4 sons, Sir Lucius O Brien, William Smith O Brien M.P. born October 17th 1803 AD who married in 1832 AD Lucy Caroline who died in 1861 AD the eldest daughter of Joseph Gabbet of Limerick, and produced Charlotte Grace O Brien and Miss C.G.O Brien of Emigration fame in Ireland, Edward William O Brien of Cahirmoyle Co. Limerick born 1837 AD . After an illustrious career in "defence" of the Irish tenants William Smith O Brien died in Wales and was interred at Rathronan in Co. Limerick. Robert and Henry O Brien. 131.Sir Lucius O Brien of Dromoland was the "fifth" English Baronet  and "thirteenth" English Baron of Inchiquin  who had been born in 1800 AD and was to die in 1872 AD, who married twice, first to Mary the daughter of William Fitz Gerald  of Adelphi in Co. Clare and produced one son and 3 daughters. Lucius Edward O Brien, Donough, Juliana Cecilia b.1839, Charlotte Anne b.1840, Mary Grace b.1848, secondly he married in 1854 Louisa the daughter of James Finucane. 131,Lucius Edward O Brien was to be the father of 132.Edward Donough O Brien the "sixth" English Baronet and "fourteenth" English Baron of Inchiquin who was born 1837 AD.
