1281 - 1290 AD 

1281 AD The Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept, and their kinsmen from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill Sept came into conflict, when Donnell Mor - the Greater O Donnell from the Cenel Conaill was to try and drive the English Galls out of the north - east of the Ulster Province at Desertcreaght, where 117.Aed Bhuidhe - of the Yellow Hair O Niall from the Cenel nEogain Sept, had been previously installed by Walter de Burgo / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Red Earl of Ulster as the "puppet" ruler in English interests as he was the son of 116.Donnell Og - the Younger O Niall, the son of 115.Aed Meith O Niall, the son of 114.Aed Macaomh Toinleasc - the Lazy Limbed Youth O Niall. Further to the advantage of the English he was to be also supported by the English Galls themselves who were there in Ulster not only against Donnell Mor O Donnell, but also the Heremonian Dal Cuinn 3 Colla Septs in their kingdom of Orghialla / Oriel in Ulster and most of the Gaelic Irish Septs in Ulster and almost all of the men from the Connacht Province, including the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Sept. Donnell Mor O Donnell was not only to be defeated but was also killed along with many of the other Irish Chiefs and aristocratic warriors their in Ulster, and his body was later interred at Derry in Co, Derry in the north of Ulster and with his demise, Aed O Donnell became the new Heremonian Dal Cuinn Cenel Conaill King in their territory of Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal.

      Teague / Tadhg Mac Dermot, the son of Cathal Mac Dermot / Diarmada, who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Moylurg / Mag Luirc, who had their kingdom and territory in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province also, died this year. who is the ancestor of the Mac Dermot Sept and was a son of Diarmait Mac Dermot, the son of Cathal Mac Dermot, the son of Conor mac Diarmada, the son of Diarmait from whom they originally took up their surname.

      Donnell O Donnell was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of West Breifne who had his kingdom in Co. Leitrim in  the north - west of the Northern Connacht.

     Another Donnell O Donnell was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn 3 Colla King of Orghialla / Airghialla / Oriel whose kingdom and territory was in Co. Monaghan and Co. Armagh in Southern Ulster.     

    The Barretts / Bairead the Norman English Barons who had their confiscated Estates in the Connacht Province came up against the Anglo - Norman English Cusacks / de Cussac, who were to Gaelicize their name later on as Ciomhsog, who had their particular confiscated Estates in the O Melaghlins / O Loughlins Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain kingdom of Meath nearby in the south of Northern Leinster, and the Barretts were to be defeated on this occasion, but both of these Anglo - Norman families in the future were also to become.     Boyle Abbey church in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province was finished and consecrated this year.

   Mathew O Hogan the Heberian Dal gCais Catholic Dean of Killaloe, in Co. Clare in north - west of Northern Munster, died, and his remains were interred in the Dominican Convent at Limerick and he was to be succeeded by his kinsman, Maurice O Hogan the next year who would be in control there for the next 17 years until his demise when he was interred in the Cathedral.  

1282 AD Murtough Mac Murrough / Muirchertach Mheic Murchada who was now the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig King of Leinster and his brother, Art Mac Murrogh were killed by the English Galls in Southern Leinster.

    Taichlech O Dowd 11 / Ua Dubda, the son of Mulrooney / Mael Ruanaid O Dowda who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Fiachrach Muaide King who had his territory in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province was killed by Adam Cusack / de Cussac  the Anglo - Norman English Baron, at Beltra Strand.

    Matha O Reilly / Ua Raghailligh the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Muintir Mael Morda Chief, who had their territory in the kingdom of East Breifne in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster also died this year, as did Gilla Isa Mag Tiernan / Ua Tigernain who was the Tellach Dunchada Chief in the Connacht Province.

    Cathal O Farrell / Ferrell / Ua Fearghail, the son of Gilla na Naimh - (Devotee of the Saints) O Farrell, who had been the Milesian Gaelic Irian Muintir Anghaile Chief in their kingdom of Annaly in Co. Longford in the north - west of Northern Leinster for the previous 10 years, died on Inis Cuan on the River Cluain / Lis Bec mheic Connla (The Fort of Bec the son of Connla.) and Geoffrey / Seafraidh O Farrell, another of the sons of Gilla na Naimh O Farrell succeeded his brother as the new Irian Chief in Annaly.  

    Lasrina / Lassa Fhina, the daughter of 115.Cathal Crobhdhearg O Connor the previous Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai "unofficial" 59th King of Connacht, who had been the wife of Donnell Mor - the Greater O Donnell, died this year.

1283 AD 117.Aed Bhuidhe - of the Yellow Hair O Niall who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King in the very north - east of the Ulster Province, after being supported to the position by Walter de Burgho the Norman English Earl of Ulster and the English Galls, was killed this year by Brian Mac Mahon / Mheic Mathgamain and his followers from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla da Crioch kingdom of Orghialla / Oriel along with Gilla Isa Ruadh O Reilly / Ua Raghailligh, the son of Donnell O Reilly from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Sept who had their kingdom of East Breifne in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster, and he would now become the direct male line ancestor of the O Nialls from the Clann Aoidh Bhuidhe / Clandeboye who had their territory in Co, Antrim.

Mayo in the mid - north - west of the Connacht Province was handed over to 121.Cathal Ruadh - of Red Complexion O Connor the "unofficial" 69th King of Connacht by the men from the kingdom of Leyney / Luigni and he was to then die from his wounds.

    Allen O Lonergan the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Franciscan Catholic Bishop of Cloyne, died.   

1283 - 1286 AD 117.Donnell O Niall was to be the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niall Cenel nEogain King in the Ulster Province, who was a son of *116.Brian Catha Duinn O Niall the previous Cenel nEogain King who had been the 184th King of Ireland who was killed in 1260 AD by  the followers of John de Courcy the Anglo - Norman Baron who had his confiscated English Estates in the north - east of Ulster also.

    Dublin in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster was destroyed by fire this year.

1284 AD Simon de Exeter the Anglo - Norman English Baron was killed by the combined forces of Brian O Flynn / Ua Flainn, Diarmait O Flanagan and Maelsechlainn O Flanagan, the sons of O Flanagan / Ua Flainnachain, which brought on further great conflict and violent turmoil that was carried out by the English Galls once again against the Irish Septs in the Connacht Province

     Dunmore was burnt by Fiachra O Flynn / Ua Flainn, and Kilcolman Castle was destroyed by 121.Cathal Ruadh - of Red Complexion O Connor who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai "unofficial" 69th King of Connacht  

     114.Donough O Brian who now ruled in his own right in the territory in the east of Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province was killed by his brother, 114.Turlough / Tairdelbach O Brian the King of Northern Munster / Thomond.

    Gilla Isa Mag Tiernan / Mheic Tighernan the Cenel mBraonain Chief, who also had their kingdom in the east of the Connacht Province, died this year.

    Mac na hOidche Mag Gourkey / Mheic Dhorchaidh the Cenel Luachain Chief, who also had their territory in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht, also died this year.

1285 AD  Magnus / Manus O Connor from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Sil Murray Ui Conchobair Sept defeated Adam Cusack the Anglo - Norman English Baron and the English Galls who were now also set up in their confiscated Estates in West Connacht at Lecc Easa Dara and many of them were killed, while Phillip Costello / Pilib Mac Oisdealbhaigh the Norman English Baron was able to drive off Magnus O Connor's men at the Ox Mountains in Co. Mayo in the Connacht Province where many were killed.

    Rory O Gara / Ua Gadhra the Heberian Cianacht King of Sliab Luga who had his kingdom and territory in Co. Sligo also in the north - west of the Connacht Province was killed by the Anglo - Norman English Baron Mac Feorais / de Bermingham, in his own territory of Loch O Gara in Coolavin.

    Ennae Mac Gilla Fhinnein, died this year.

1286 AD Richard de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Red Earl of Ulster raided the Connacht Province where he damaged many churches and monasteries and took hostages, and then with an army from Connacht he gained further hostages from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill and their kinsmen the Cenel nEogain in the Ulster Province and he also deposed 117.Donnell O Niall, the son of 116.Brian Catha Duinn O Niall, who was the "official" legitimate Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niall Cenel nEogain King, and put in Niall Culanach - of the Long Black Hair O Niall as his new puppet.

    Donnell O Hanley / Handly / Ua hAinle the Cenel Dobtha Chief, who also had their territory in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province, died this year. 

    Maurice - the Bald Fitz Gerald, died, who was a son of Fitz Gerald the Anglo - Norman English Justicar in Ireland.

   The little artificial River Rine was manually constructed nearby the Quin Abbey at Quin in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province.  

1287 AD Phillip Costello / Pilib Mac Oisdealbhaigh the Anglo - Norman English Baron, died this year, as did Geoffrey St. Leger, the Anglo - Norman English Catholic Bishop of Ossory / Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster.

     Diarmait Midech Mac Dermot, the son of Diarmait Mac Dermot, the son of Muirgius Mac Dermot, the son of Cathal Mac Diarmada, who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Moylurg / Mag Luirc who had his kingdom and territory also in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province, died this year.

   Gilla na nEc O Mannachain who was the 3 Connachta King in the Connacht Province, also died this year.

   Maelsechlainn Mac Geraghty, the son of Tomalty Mac Geraghty / Tomaltach Mag Oireachtaigh was killed by 120.Turlough O Connor, the son of 119.Eogan O Connor the previous 62nd King of Connacht , to avenge the abandoning of his father to the sons of Turlough O Connor, who was a son of Aed Mac.

1288 AD Cathal Mac Dermot, the son of Teague Mac Dermot, the son of Cathal Mac Diarmada, became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Moylurg / Mag Luirc in their territory in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province.

    121.Magnus / Manus O Connor, together with the men from the Connacht Province, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Septs and the Gaelic Milesian Irian Conmaicne Sept, intended to seize the Kingship of Connacht from his brother, 121.Cathal O Connor, the son also of 120.Conor Ruadh - of Red Complexion O Connor, the "unofficial" 69th King of Connacht and they went into battle  at Bellaslishan and 121.Cathal O Connor was captured and his men defeated, and he was then deposed and 121.Magnus O Connor became the new "unofficial" 70th King of Connacht. 121.Cathal O Connor his elder brother had previously been the "unofficial" King of Connacht for 7 1/2 years operating out of Cruachan / Cruachu. 120.Turlough O Connor, the son of 119.Eogan O Connor along with Maelsechlainn O Flanagan / Ua Flainnachain were now to carry out a raid on 121.Magnus O Connor's territory at Rossmore, after being urged on by Fiachra O Flynn / Ua Flainn, and 121.Magnus O Connor was wounded and Raghnall Reynolds / Mag Raghnaill the Gaelic Milesian Irian Muintir Eolais Chief, who had their kingdom and territory in Co. Leitrim also in the north of the Connacht Province, was killed and Niall Gilbride O Connor was wounded with many others also killed and their horses taken. When he recovered 121.Magnus O Connor attacked the Ui Briuin Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray Sept and took hostages from them. Richard  Mac William de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Red Earl of Ulster, the son of Walter de Burgh the previous Anglo - Norman English Earl of Ulster, the son of Richard Mor de Burgh, the son of William de Burgh the original Anglo - Norman Baron in Connacht, marched into Connacht as far as Roscommon where he came up against 121.Magnus O Connor the new "unofficial" 70th King of Connacht and his followers, and John Fitz Thomas Fitz Gerald, who would afterwards become the first English Earl of Kildare, and Richard de Burgho the Red Earl the English Earl of Ulster immediately left the area disbanding their army.

    Stephen de Fulsurn the Anglo - Norman English Catholic Archbishop of Tuam in the Connacht Province and the English Justicar in Ireland, died, and William Mac Feorais / de Bermingham the Anglo - Norman English Baron, took his place as the Catholic Archbishop of Tuam. 

1289 AD Teague O Flanagan / Ua Flainnachain the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Clan Cathail Chief, who had their territory in the Connacht Province, died this year.

      Richard Divit the English Baron and the English Galls who now had their confiscated Estates in the O Melaghlins / O Loughlins Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain kingdom of Meath in the south of Northern Leinster, together with 121.Magnus O Connor who was now the "unofficial" 70th King of Connacht attacked Cairbre O Maelsechlainn / O Melaghlin / O Loughlin the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill King of Meath and all of his followers, but they were defeated and Richard Divit was killed along with his kinsmen, and Seamus O Kelly / Ua Cellaig the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Tannist / heir apparent was also killed.

      Fiachra O Flynn / Ua Flainn the Siol Maelruin Chief who also had their territory in the Connacht Province was killed by 2 of the Anglo - Norman English Barons, one being the son of Richard / Ricarde Finn de Burgh / Burke, the son of William de Burgh, and Mac Feorais / de Bermingham and Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald and Mac Feorais then also attacked Calbhach Mor - the Greater O Connor from the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Luighaidh  Cu Cu Corb Ui Failge Sept and the rest of the Leinster Princes and they were defeated, and Mailer de Exeter the Norman English Baron, and many of the English Galls were also killed on this occasion and their horses taken.

1290 AD Cairbre O Mael Sechlainn / O Melaghlin / O Loughlin who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill King of Meath / Midhe in the south of Northern Leinster was killed by Mac Coughlan / Mheic Cochlain from the Heberian Dal gCais Sept and the men from their kingdom of Delbna / Delvin Mac Coughlan in Co. Offaly in the south - west of Northern Leinster.

      117.Donnell O Niall, the son of *116.Brian Catha Duinn O Niall the previously deceased and last Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill 184th King of Ireland led a force into the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Eogain kingdom in the Ulster Province and ejected the English "puppet" Niall Culanach O Niall and re - assumed the overall Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Kingship once again becoming  the King of Tyrone / Tir nEogain until 1291 AD when he too would be deposed and Niall Culanach O Niaill would be put back in by the English Galls.

    Aed O Donnell the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niall Cenel Conaill King of Tyrconnell in the far - north - west of the Ulster Province was deposed by his brother, Turlough O Donnell who by now had many galloglasses / mercenaries to support him, and he then claimed the Cenel Conaill Kingship in Tir Conaill / Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal  through his mother's kin, the Clann Donnell,

    Congalach Mac Geoghegan / Mag Eochagain the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Cenel Fiachach Chief descended from 91.Fiachu, another of the 8 sons of *90.Niall - of the Nine Hostages who had been the previous 126th King of Tara / Ireland, died in his territory in Co. Westmeath in the south - west of Northern Leinster.  

     A Franciscan friary was founded at Clare Galway in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht by de Burg / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Baron, which would be added to in the 15th Century AD, and the nearby Burke Castle is still there in ruins to be seen on the way to Tuam / Choom.
