1301 - 1310 AD  

1301 AD With the Irish Brehon Law and the Irish Septs / Fines now under more determined pressure from the Anglo - Norman English Galls / foreigners it was once again more then ever to be "The survival of the Fittest," as due to all the oppression and savage agressive greed that had occurred since the Anglo - Norman Invasion there was still no clear overall single authority in Ireland now among the surviving Celtic Gaelic Irish Septs. 123.Aed mac Cathail O Connor who was now the "unofficial" 71st King of Connacht,who was the son of 122,Cathal O Connor the previous "unofficial" 70th King of Connacht, along with the Clann Murtough carried out a a raid on Teague / Tadhg O Connor in their territory at Mag Aidne to see who now had the real authority at this time in the Connacht Province. The Clann Murtough also killed Murtough Mac Conshnamha / Mac Kinnawe / Forde / Ford who was the heir apparent / Tanaiste from the Muinter Kenny who had their territory there also in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht .

     O Muldoon / Ua Maol Duin was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn King of the "northern" Ui Fiachrach Muaidh Sept who had their territory in Tir Fiachrach (The Land of 90.Fiachra) also in Northern Connacht who was originally descended from 90.Fiachra who had been the second Heremonian Dal Cuinn King of Connacht, and one of the 5 sons of *89.Eochy / Echu Mugmedon the 124th King of Tara / Ireland at that time.     

      Edward 1st - the Hammer of the Scots was still the fifth Angevin Anglo - Norman King of England, and along with the Anglo - Norman Baron, Fitz Gerald / Gaelicized as Mac Gerailt), de Bermingham (Gaelicized as Mac Feorais), and English Gall forces once again raided Alba / Scottish Highlands, but they did not succeed in conquering it fully. (Richard de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Red Earl of Ulster was not involved in this particular conflict.)

1302 AD William Fitz John, an Anglo - Norman became the Catholic Bishop of Ossory / Co. Kilkenny, this year, in the south - west of Southern Leinster.

       Rory / Ruaidri O Hara was now the Heberian Cianacht Luigni King in their kingdom of Leyney in Co.  Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province.

       The Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Uais Mac Donalds (Gaelicized in Ireland as Mac Donnell) who were now set up in Co. Antrim in the north - east of the Ulster Province, and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Mac Sweeneys / Mheic Suibhne who now had territory in Co. Donegal in the north - west of Ulster were galloglasses / mercenaries of Irish / Scottish / Viking blood who had come over from the Scottish Highlands to assist the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Septs against the continued Anglo - Norman English aggression and their constant aggression and expansion in Ulster. 

     Due to the inability of the English Galls to penetrate further into the west of the Ulster Province at this time, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Maguires / Mac Guires were to continue to hold their own in Co. Fermanagh in the south - west while their kinsmen the Heremonian Colla Da Crioch Mac Mahons were to also hold on in Co. Monaghan in nearby Central Southern Ulster. The O Ciassarts with the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain O Canes / Kanes / O Cahans in Co. Derry in Central Northern Ulster, and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill O Dohertys at Inishowen in the  north - east of Co Donegal were also continuing to hold out there. The Anglo - Norman Galls / foreigners who were there originally under the leadership of John de Courcy the Anglo - Norman Baron, had continued to also survive holding onto their confiscated Estates still along the coast of north - east Ulster, where the Bysets had become the English Earls of the Glens, the Savages the English Earls of the Ards, and the Mandevilles who had by now Gaelicized their name as the Mac Quillans of Route in the north of Co. Antrim, had already adopted Gaelic names and the tenets of the Irish Brehon Law.       

      Donnell Ruadh - of Red Complexion Mac Carthy the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil King of Southern Munster / Desmond died this year, and Donnell / Domhnall Og / Oc - the Younger Mac Carthy became the new Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil King of Desmond / Southern Munster with his territory in Co. Kerry.

       123.Aed mac Cathail O Connor the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai  "unofficial" 71st King of Connacht once again this year besieged Teague / Tadhg O Connor and Sitric Mac Flanahy / Mheic Flannchaidh, in their territory at Mag Cetne, in their ongoing dispute over who now had the actual overall authority in the Connacht Province.

       108.Donn Carrach Maguire / Mac Guire / Mag Uidhir the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Prince / Tanaiste of Fermanagh in the south - west of the Ulster Province, died this year.

1303 AD Turlough O Donnell who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill King of Tir Conaill (The Land of 91.Conall Gulban.) Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the north - west of the Ulster Province, was killed this year by his brother, Aed O Donnell along with many others, over who now had the real overall authority also there.

      Diarmait O Flanagan / Ua Flainnachain the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Felim Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Cenel Cairbre King of Toorah, and his two sons, were slain by Donnell / Domhnall O Connor while besieging Carbury in their territory there in the Connacht Province.

      Edward 1st the Anglo - Norman King of England the "Hammer Of The Scots" besieged the Scottish Highlands again, and de Burgho / Burke ? the Anglo - Norman English Earl in Ireland and many of the Galls / foreigners, and the Gaelic Irish who had been previously forced to submit and be  committed to his service, went in a fleet to join him and he was able to gain overall control there this time around.

      Donnell / Domhnall Og -  the Younger Mac Carthy the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil King of Southern Munster / Desmond who had his territory in Co. Kerry, died this year. 

    Magnus Magowran / Magauran / Mac Govern / Mac Goveran / Mag Shamhrain the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of Tully Haw, in the O Reilly kingdom of East Breifne, who had his territory at Ballymagauran in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster, was also killed  this year.

       The Knights of St. John built their house in the Heberian Cianacht O Hara kingdom of Leyney this year at Ballymote in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province.  

1304 AD Matha O Reilly, the son of Gilla Isa (Devotee of Jesus) O Reilly, who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of East Breifne who had their territory in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster was killed by the Tellach Dunchada Sept at Aghnacor in the Connacht Province along with galloglasses.

    124.Conor O Connor, the son of 123.Aed mac Cathail O Connor the "unofficial" 71st King of Connacht was killed by Hoirbert O Flaherty because he had maltreated Donough O Flaherty, and Hoirbert O Flaherty was then also killed himself.

   Margaret de Burgh / Burke, the wife of Richard de Burgh and the grand daughter of Hugh de Burgh, died, as did Richard de Burgh the Anglo - Norman English Red Earl of Ulster and his son, Walter de Burgh his heir.

1305 AD 123.Aed mac Cathail O Connor, from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Clann Murtough, who was the "unofficial" 71st King of Connacht, along with the Clann Murtough defeated the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Muintir Reilly of East Breifne in their territory in nearby Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster killing Philip O Reilly and the Tanaiste / heir apparent to the Clann Mac Sweeney / Suibhne along with 140 others. 

     The de Berminghams, the Anglo - Norman English Barons, had constructed 4 Castles in Co. Kildare / Ossory in Central Southern Leinster, against the Gaelic Irish Septs there, all within the sight of each other at Carbery, Mylerstown, Kinnaford, and Carrick, and later on Pierce / Piers de Bermingham in the castle at Carbury in Co. Kildare was to treacherously kill Murtough O Connor the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Cu Corb Ui Failge O Faly Prince and his brother, along with 26 of his kinsmen who had their territory in Co. Offaly in the mid - west of Southern Leinster. The de Berminghams in Connacht Province were to also Gallicize their surname to Mac Feorais (Descended from a son of Piers), which was later on also anglicized as Corish.  

      The Carlingford Priory had been founded by Ricarde de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Red Earl of Ulster in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster, who had also constructed another castle at Inishowen in the north of the Ulster Province against the Gaelic Irish Septs there. 

1306 AD 120.Aed mac Eogain O Connor, the previous Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray "unofficial" 71st King of Connacht, the son of 119.Eogan O Connor, and the Sil Murray Sept carried out a great campaign against 123.Aed mac Cathail O Connor, the son of 122.Cathal O Connor, with the Kings and Chiefs of Connacht and also Breifne, and they were now to be in constant conflict across the River Shannon for 4 months and Flann O Flynn / Ua Flainn the Siol Mael Ruan Prince / Tanaiste, and Brian O Connor, the son of Donough Riabach O Connor were killed, and the O Connor stronghold was burnt along with the palace of the King of Connacht. 120.Aed mac Eogain O Connor, who was originally descended from 115.Cathal Crobhdhearg O Connor who had been the "unofficial" 59th King of Connacht, was also killed. 123.Aed mac Cathail O Connor and the Clann Murtough raided Carbury again where they killed many of the English / Galls who were set up on their confiscated Estates there.

    Donough Mac Dermot was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray King in their kingdom of Moylurg / Mag Luirc in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province. 

    The Austin friary was built in Adare in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of the Munster Province this year, where there are 2 ancient churches still in existence.

    Robert - the Bruce, the future Anglo - Norman Gaelic King of Scotland who was on the run from the English Galls, was now on Rathlin Island 4 miles across the channel from Co. Antrim in the north - east of the Ulster Province where he watched a patient spider take his time to succeed in spinning his web and gained foresight from it before returning to Scotland to succeed in his endeavours to drive the English out of there.

April 10th: 114.Turlough O Brian the Heberian Dalcassian Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Ui mBriain King of Northern Munster / Thomond,, the son of 113.Brian Ruadh - of Red Complexion O Brian died, and was interred in the Ennis Abbey in Co. Clare, and his son 115.Donough O Brian became the new King of Northern Munster / Thomond and together with his kinsman, Donnell / Domhnall Bawn O Brian he was to lay siege to Thomas de Clare the Anglo - Norman English Baron and his Heberian Dalcassian allies on many occasions over the following years. Thomas de Clare was to make great use of his persuasive "switching" tactics of taking the opportunity to put the individual Heberian Dal gCais Septs there against one another in Co. Clare in their struggle to gain overall control in Thomond centred on their stronghold in the north - west of the Munster Province. On one of these occasions 115.Donough O Brian and Donnell O Brian were to be defeated at Dysert O Dea in Co. Clare by their own kinsman, 115.Murtough O Brian.    

1307 AD Offerlane in the north of the Cantred of Aghaboe, which was by now a Norman English Gall / foreign confiscated settlement, came under siege from the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla Mac Gilla Patricks / Fitz Patricks, as the whole northern region of Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster was also now under the control of the English Galls, including the territory of their Heremonian Ui Laoghhaire Ui Connla kinsmen the O Brennans / Ui Braonain.  

      Awley / Auliffe / Amhlaibh O Rourke, the son of Art O Rourke, was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn King of the Ui Briuin Breifne Sept in their kingdom of West Breifne in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht.

    Donough 1st Muimneach O Kelly, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine King who had their kingdom in the east of Co. Galway and near Athlone in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province, killed all of the English Galls in Roscommon in Co. Roscommon before he died this year, and his son, Teague O Kelly was to also die soon after him, and the English Galls in Aughrim in Connacht were then burnt out by the remaining Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Maine Princes.

    In a further power struggle in the Connacht Province, Donnell O Connor, the son of Teague O Connor, who was the Tanaiste / heir apparent of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Septs in the Connacht Province was killed by Aed Brefnech O Connor, the son of Cathal Ruadh O Connor, and his body was interred in the Boyle monastery in the Connacht Province.

   Maelsechlainn O Gormley / Ua Gairmleadhaigh the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Cineal Moen / Moain King  who had his territory at Raphoe in Co. Donegal in the north - east of the Ulster Province and nearby in Tyrone in Central Ulster,  died this year.

    Cathal O Connor, the son of Magnus O Connor, was killed by Cathal O Connor who was now the "unofficial" 74th King of Connacht, the son of Donnell O Connor, and the Clann Murtough besieged Mag Cetne burning the crops at Carbury and those of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Ailella Sept and Corran, and Teague O Connor, another of the sons of Magnus O Connor was also killed.

    Awley / Auliffe / Amlaib O Rourke, the son of Art O Rourke, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of West Breifne who had his territory in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht was killed by a son of Fergal Mac Govern / Mag Shamhrain from the O Reillys Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Sept from the kingdom of East Breifne whose territory was nearby in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster.

   A Franciscan friary was founded this year at Castle Lyons on the River Bride east of Rath Cormack in Co. Cork in Southern Munster.

1307 AD - 1327 AD Edward 11, the faint - hearted son of Edward 1st -"The Hammer of the Scots" was to be the Anglo - Norman King of England and he would form Co. Antrim calling it after the main town there Aendruim / Excellent Hill / aen / aon - excellent, Druim / hill.

1308 AD Mulroney / Mael Ruanaid Mac Dermot raided the son of Donnell O Connor in Carbury, and also the English Galls who now had confiscated Estates in the Heberian Cianacht O Hara kingdoms of Leyney and Tireagh in the Connacht Province, together with Brian O Dowd / Ua Dubda from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Fiachrach Muaide Sept, and the Clann Murtough also carried out an attack on the English Galls, but then made peace with them and gave over hostages. The sons of Donnell O Connor went to Slieve Daen where they were followed by the English Galls who had confiscated Estates there in the kingdoms of Leyney and Tireragh, who they were still able to drive off to Lecc Easa Dara, killing  the Anglo - Norman Baron Thomas Mac Walter de Burgh / Burke and his brother, along with many other English Galls.

       Aed mac Cathail O Connor, one of the sons of Cathal O Connor, besieged Rory mac Cathail O Connor who was his own brother and during the conflict killed Magnus Og - the Younger O Connor, the son of Magnus O Connor.

       Piers Gaveston an English knight, personally connected to Edward 11 the Anglo - Norman English King came to Ireland and killed Dermot O Dempsey / Ua Dimusaigh from the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Clann Malier who had their territory in Co. Laois and Co. Offaly in the north west of Southern Leinster.   

       John le Decer who was the Anglo - Norman English Mayor of Dublin at this time built the bridge over the River Liffey at Leixlip in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster, while another new bridge was also constructed there across the River Liffey at Celbridge.

        William de Burgh / Burke was now the Anglo - Norman English Deputy Justiciar in Ireland, and he was the one who was to become the direct male line ancestor of the actual "Burkes" themselves and also the "Mac Williams" in Ireland, both the Upper and the Lower branches, while Richard de Burgh the Anglo - Norman English Baron who was the English Red Earl of Ulster was to create Walter and Hugh de Lacy English knights this year.

        Pierce de Bermingham the Anglo - Norman English Baron feloniously murdered the Heremonian Ui Laogharie Cu Corb O Connors who had their kingdom and territory in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster, at his castle at Carbury in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster killing 30 of them all up in a treacherous act of betrayal after inviting them there to dine with him.

1309 AD 120.Aed mac Eogain O Connor, who had previously been the "unofficial" 72nd King of Connacht  was killed by Aed Brefnech O Connor, the son of Cathal Ruadh O Connor at Coill in Chlachain in the O Rourkes Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne kingdom of West Breifne where many of the men of Connacht were also killed, and Aed Brefnech O Connor then entered further into the Connacht Province where the 3 Connachta Septs submitted to him. Mulrooney / Maolruanaidh Mac Dermot the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Moylurg and then came to the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray Sept to gain the Kingship of Connacht for his foster - son, 121.Felim / Fedelmid O Connor. He also sent for further assistance to William de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Earl, the English Galls, and the Gaelic Irish Septs who supported him, and they camped at Fuad Ratha Cruachan to combine all those forces who were  committed to his cause and they took submissions from the Gaelic Chiefs and their sub - Kings to the King of Connacht on behalf of 121.Felim O Connor, and all of the Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh submitted and William de Burgh then took the Siol Muireadhaigh Sept to Elphin. Meanwhile Aed mac Cathal O Conor, the son of Cathal O Connor went to engage the English Earl in the kingdom of Meath in the south of Northern Leinster and while he was gone the 3 Connachta Septs revolted against him, so on returning from Meath he carried out a raid on Aed O Flanagan in the territory of Uachtar Tire there in Connacht. Rory mac Cathal O Connor, the son of Cathal O Connor, and Aed O Flanagan, went to Machaire where they killed Mac Feorais / de Bermingham the Anglo - Norman English Baron, and a meeting was then arranged between Rory O Connor, Aed O Connor's brother, who was another son of Cathal O Connor, and Mac William de Burgh at Ath Slisen, but Rory O Connor was besieged and some of his men were killed. William de Burgh went to the monastery at Boyle, and the Clann Murtough came into the Tirerril kingdom in Connacht burning and destroying the crops, and Mac William de Burgh crossed over the Curlieu Mountains in Co. Leitrim and drove Aed Brefnech O Connor, the son of Cathal O Connor, from his stronghold, and also killed Donough O Finaghty / Finerty / Ua Fionnachta who was also from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray and many others, and the English Galls then also raided the Clann Fermaighe and then carried out raids further north as far as Ben Bulben.

     An Anglo - Norman English Parliament was held at Kilkenny again in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster enacting further Irish Penal Laws especially against any of the Old English / Anglo - Irish who took up any Gaelic Irish customs.

    116.Conor O Brian, the son of 115.Donough O Brian, who was now the Heberian Dal gCais King of Northern Munster / Thomond, was killed by the English Galls and Donough Mac Namara, a son of Cuvea Mor Mac Namara the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Caisin King was treacherously killed by members of his own Sept and by Donnell O Grady the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Caisin Cenel Donnghaile Chief and his brother, Loghlen Laidir - the Strong Mac Namara became the new Ui Caisin Chief in their territory in the east of Co. Clare.

1310 AD An Anglo - Norman English Parliament was held again in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory with English Law well established in The English Pale area surrounding Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster under their control, and another Act was passed that, "No more Irish shall be received into a Religious Order among the English in the Land of Peace (The English Pale) to which Walter Jorz / Joyce the Catholic Bishop of Armagh successfully appealed to Edward 11 the Norman English King of England to repeal.

        Aed Brefnech O Connor, the son of Cathal O Connor, carried out a raid on Mulroney Mac Dermot in Clogher in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province and many were killed there, and they set up a stronghold in Uachtar Tire against Mulroney Mac Dermot and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Siol Muireadhach / Sil Murray and the Anglo - Norman Baron William de Burgh went after Aed Brefnech O Connor again while he was at Killummod opposite, and Aed Brefnech O Connor sent a message to his brother, Rory O Connor to go to Bunnina Castle, from where William de Burgh had since left, and Rory O Connor together with Aed O Connor, the son of Magnus O Connor and their followers then plundered and burnt the castle. Aed Brefnech mac Cathail Ruadh O Connor was slain by Sean / Seoan Mheic Uidlin who had agreed to receive a reward from Mac William de Burgh beforehand, as he was the chief of the mercenaries who were supposed to be guarding him. Mac William de Burgh and Mulroney Mac Dermot and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Siol Muireadhach then began raiding the territory there as far as Bennan Brechmaige to the north and Mag Cetne of the Fomora, and ravaged every where they went and oppressed everyone who he thought had supported Aed Brefnech O Connor. Mulroney Mac Dermot seeing the overall oppression Mac William de Burgh was carrying out on the Gaelic Irish Tuaths / Family regions thought he would put it to use by pushing his foster - son 121.Felim O Connor further forward as the new "unofficial" King of Connacht by force, so he took him to Carnfree and placed him on the Inauguration Mound, 121.Felim O Connor, the son of 120.Aed O Connor the "unofficial"  68th King of Connacht, the son of 119,Eogan O Connor, was then inaugurated as the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai "unofficial" 72nd King of Connacht by his foster - father Mulroney Mac Dermot who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh Ui Conchobair King who had his territory at  / Carnfree / Carn Froich the place of their Inauguration Mound situated three miles from Cruachan / Cruachu the original ancient capital of the Connacht Province. 

    Mac Raith Mac Guire / Maguire / Mheic Uidhir the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Prince / Tanaiste of Fermanagh, who had their territory in the south - west of the Ulster Province, and Donough Mac Gilla Micheil the Clann Congaile Chief were burnt by Roald Mac Mahon / Mag Mathgamain from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Siol Daim Argait Ui Cremthainn Clann Nadsluaigh Sept of Truagh, and the Mac Mahons in the near future were to become the leading Sept and Kings of Orghialla / Airghialla / Oriel in the east of Southern Ulster and nearby in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster and were also to be Princes / Tanaistes, Chiefs and Kings at Clones in Co. Monaghan who had their territory there originally on the River Inny.

    Cormac O Flanagan the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Felim Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Cenel Cairbre King of Toorah in Connacht  Province was killed this year by Enri Mac Ailla Fhinnein the Muintir Pheodachain Chief.  

     William de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Baron, who was a first cousin of the important Anglo - Norman English Earl Richard de Grey, was married to Finola / Fionnuala O Brian at this time, connecting him even more by marriage to the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Ui mBriain O Brian Sept in Thomond / Northern Munster. (The Anglo - Norman English at this time where still known to the Irish as the Galls / foreigners.) The English Earl of Ulster rebuilt Sligo Castle against the Irish Septs there in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province in the kingdom and territory of the O Haras who the Heberian Cianacht Kings. The Anglo - Norman Mac Feorais / de Berminghams had their confiscated Estates in the Connacht Province centred on Athenry in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster, where they were associated with John Fitz Thomas Fitz Gerald who later on in 1316 AD would become the first Anglo - Norman English Earl of Kildare.

1310 AD - 1324 AD The English Parliament in Ireland now made any of the Anglo - Irish / Old English responsible for any of their family kin who broke their English Law, such as would be the case under the Irish Brehon Law, just as they had instigated in 1278 AD to the Gaelic Irish Chiefs and Kings.
