1331 - 1340 AD 

1331 AD Mulrooney / Mael Ruanaid Mac Dermot who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada King of Moylurg / Mag Luirc in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province, abdicated and was to die at Boyle Abbey as a monk, and he was to be followed into this position by Tomalty / Tomaltach Mac Dermot and once again Walter de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Baron, the son of Sir William de Burgh, attacked the Mac Dermot's kingdom of Moylurg and burnt the territory there.

1332 AD Walter de Burgh the Anglo - Norman English Baron, the son of Sir William de Burgh, was captured by William de Burgh the Ënglish Anglo - Norman Brown Earl, who was a son of John de Burgh, the son of Richard de Burgh, who put him in the dungeon of Inishowen Castle in the Ulster Province were he died of hunger. Another of the Anglo - Norman Barons Ulick mac William de Burgh, the son of William Liath de Burgh, and Tomalty Mac Dermot who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Moylurg in the Connacht Province were defeated at Berna in Mil by Edmund de Burgh, the 19 year old son of Walter de Burgh the Red Earl of Ulster, who was now the English Earl of Ulster in his own right and Tomas Mac Donagh and many of Mac William de Burgh's men were to be killed.

    This year, the tower and the belfry fell from St. Canice's Cathedral in Kilkenny City in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster.

1333 AD Walter de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Red Earl of Ulster, had previously also installed 118.Aed Mor - the Greater Buidhe - of the Yellow Hair O Niall from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Sept, a son of 117.Donnell O Niall the previous Cenel nEogain King, to act as his puppet," in the north - east of the Ulster Province, whose descendants were to become the Clann Aedh Buidhe / Clannaboye Sept. Walter de Burgh the Anglo - Norman English Red Earl of Ulster by this time was suffering from near senility, from which he was never to recover, and was to die this year when he was to be killed by the Ulster English Galls who were then killed by the Henry 111's men, and his male line was to die out with him, as his young heir was also to be murdered. He was to only leave a daughter behind who was married to Edward III's the Norman English King's, second son, Lionel the Duke of Clarence, and the other de Burghs in Ireland now changed their names to Burke and Mac William to hold onto their own previous confiscated Estates that they now held in Ireland. (His death and that of his son also reduced the English dominance in the Ulster Province as English control was now to be in Absentee hands). 

      The majority of the Gaelic Irish Septs were by now well and truly in real despair, as Famine had also set in with a vengeance, and the remaining Gaelic Irish Chiefs were more aware then ever that they were going to have to update their own weaponry, and use different fighting tactics if they were ever going to survive and make any headway against the constant English Galls' greed and oppression, but despite this never - ending prevailing negative circumstances the Gaelic Irish Sept's resistance to the oppression of the English Galls at this time was still strong throughout the whole of Ireland).      

      Aed O Donnell the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill King of Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal and Co. Fermanagh in the west of the Ulster Province died after having basically ruled for 52 years and his son, Conor / Conchobar O Donnell was now to be the Cenel Conaill King of Tyrconnell and Co. Fermanagh, but his father's other son, Art O Donnell also wanted a go at the Kingship, until he was eventually killed.

    Teague Mac Donagh the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada King of Tirerrill in the Connacht Province, died.

    Turlough O Connor who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Ui Conchobhair King of Connacht took Donugh O Kelly, the son of Aed O Kelly from the Hermonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Sept who had their territory in Co. Galway in the south - east of the Connacht Province, prisoner. 

      James Butler / le buitleir was to become the first "official" Anglo - Norman English Earl of Ormonde in Co. Tipperary and Southern Leinster and created Thomas Cantwell an English knight.

     Edward 111 the Anglo - Norman English King granted a town Charter to Kinsale in Co. Cork in Southern Munster.  

    The Anglo - Norman Baron William Liath Burke's sons were given a pardon by Edward 111 the Anglo - Norman English King.         

1334  AD The Gaelic Irish Septs together with their English Gall supporters from the Connacht Province besieged the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Caisin Mac Namaras in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province where they burnt a church there in which 180 people and 2 priests were seeking sanctuary and none of them survived and they also took hostages and submission from the Mac Namara Chief.

    A Carmelite friary was founded in Kinsale in Co Cork in Southern Munster.

1335 AD The sons of Donnell O Connor raided Maurice / Muiris Fitz Gerald, the son of Gerald Fitz Gerald, the Anglo - Norman Baron and slew the son of Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald the Anglo - Norman Baron who then carried out further retaliations against them.

       Edmund Burke, the son of William Liath Burke, ravaged the west of the Connacht Province burning, raiding and killing many while carrying out a raid on the Earl's son.

       Fionnuala O Brian, the daughter of O Brian, who was the wife of Turlough O Connor, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Ui Conchobhair King of Connacht, died this year.

       The Anglo - Irish / Old English joined Edward 111 the Anglo - Norman English King's forces in attacking Scotland. 

     James Butler the Anglo - Norman English first Earl of Ormonde attacked the territory of the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge O Byrnes of Duffyr in Southern Leinster destroying and burning all before him, and to further increase the English Galls hold on Ireland he also created even more Anglo - Norman English knights there, including Fulk de la Frene, Gregory de la Launde and Matthew Fitz Oliver de la Frene. Maurice Fitz - Thomas Fitz Gerald the Anglo - Norman first English Earl of Desmond also created another 7 English knights at Greyn / Poallagrean in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of the Munster Province after attacking the territory also of Brian Bane O Brian the previous Heberian Dal g Cais Ui mBriain Tanaiste / heir apparent of Thomond / Northern Munster.

1336 AD Tomalty Mac Dermot the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada King of Moylurg, died at Calad na Cairre, and was interred at the Boyle monastery and his son, Conor Mac Dermot became the new Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Moylurg in the Connacht Province.

      Eogan O Madden / Ua Madadhain from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Sept who had their territory in the south - east of Co. Galway in the Connacht Province killed 66 followers of the Anglo - Norman Baron Richard Burke.

     Theobold Burke, the son of William Burke, died.

     Edmund Burk, the son of William Burke, raided the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Clann Cathail and killed many of the O Flanagans, and Diarmait their Chief was to also die later on.

      James Butler the Anglo - Norman first English Earl of Ormonde installed John de Rochford and Geoffrey Schorthalis / Shorthall ? as further English knights.

1337 AD Aed Remor - the Stout O Niall from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept made peace with the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch kingdom of Orghialla / Oriel in Southern Ulster and the Fir Manach Sept there.

      Turlough O Connor the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Ui Conchobhair King of Connacht constructed a stronghold at Athleague in the Connacht Province against Edmund Burke the Anglo - Norman English Baron and also destroyed the castle belonging to Costello / Mac Goisdealbh the Anglo - Norman English Baron there, but he was to eventually be wounded and defeated this year by the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Clann Kelly / Chellaig in Co. Galway in Connacht and many of his followers were killed.

     William Burke, the son of de Burgh the English Earl of Ulster and Brian Bane O Brian from the Heberian Dal gCais made peace and he received his previous Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain territory in Northern Munster / Thomond back.

     Edward 111 the Anglo - Norman English King appointed a new English Justiciar in Ireland, who arrived with 200 Welsh archers and only English "born" officials were to be the English Justiciars in Ireland from now on.

    James Butler the Anglo - Norman first English Earl of Ormonde created Henry de Valle / Wall an English knight after attacking the territory of the ferocious Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Cu Corb Ui Dunlaing O Byrnes again, this time in their territory at Arklow in Co. Wicklow in the south - east of Southern Leinster.

1338 AD Rory Mac Guire / Maguire / Ruaidri Mac Uidhir who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of Fermanagh in the south - west of the Ulster Province, died this year.

      Edmund Burke, the son of Richard Burke, the Anglo - Norman English Earl of Ulster was taken prisoner by Edmund Albanch Burke, and a stone was put around his neck and he was to be thrown into Loch Mask, which was to end the long run of the English Galls in the Connacht Province asTurlough O Connor the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ui Conchobhair King of Connacht also reorganized his control in Connacht, and Edmund Burke, the son of William Burke, was also driven out and theirconfiscated Estates in the west of  the Connacht Province were destroyed and the territory in the Irish Sept's kingdoms of Leyney and Corann in Connacht were to be also devastated as the Gaelic Irish reclaimed their territories there and the English Galls were driven out.

      James Butler 11 was to become the second Anglo - Norman English Earl of Ormonde until 1382 AD, who was the son of James who had  been the first English Earl of Ormonde.

     England and France were at War again.

August 31st: To strengthen the English hold over Ireland further, Maurice Fitz Thomas - Fitz Gerald the English first Earl of Desmond created 14 more English knights at Rathymegan.

1339 AD Rory O Kelly the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine King who had his territory in the south - east of Co. Galway in the Connacht Province was killed this year.

        Aed Remor - the Stout O Niaill from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept attacked the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niall Cenel Conaill Sept in their territory in Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the west of the Ulster Province.

      Edmund Burke's followers were now also driven out of the Ulster Province, and the wife of the Earl's son who was 115.Turlough O Brian's daughter was then married to Turlough O Connor the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Ui Conchobhair King of Connacht who to accomadate this stronger liasion put away Dervorgilla / Dearbhorgaill the daughter of O Donnell.

    The Gaelic Irish and the English Galls were now at all out war in the O Melaghlins / O Loughlins Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill kingdom of Meath in the south of Northern Leinster. 

1340 AD Henry de Valle / Wall, who was now an Anglo - Norman knight, was the English Seneschal of Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster and he drove off an attack by the Gaelic Irish Septs there who were under the leadership of the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig Mac Murroughs, the descendants of 113,Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall who had been the instigator for them being in Ireland in the first place.

    The Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Septs in their kingdom in the south - east of Co. Galway in the Connacht Province were now involved in an internal struggle also as to who now had the overall authority there.

    Rory O Hara, the son of Manus O Hara, and Murrough O Hara the son of Mulloy O Hara, the Catholic Abbot of Boyle, both died this year. 

     The Anglo - Irish / Old English Fitz Geralds built a castle at Croom / Cromadh in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of the Munster Province on the site of a previous castle there from the last Century, which was always under attack by the Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain O Brians, and it would finally be destroyed in 1689 AD. (The Fitz Gerald Battle Cry there was to become Cromadh Abu / Croom Forever).   

       Teague Mac Carthy the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil King of Southern Munster / Desmond began the construction of Muckross Abbey there, which would only be finished a 100 years later on by his son, Donough Mac Carthy in 1440 AD.
