1401 AD Sir Robert Talbot / Lord Furnival who was now the English Lord Lieutenant Governor in Ireland forced the remaining Gaelic Irish Septs to make treaties with the English Government authorities in the Dublin Castle (The Devil's 1/2 Acre.) and this especially included those Irish Septs who were closer to The English Pale, surrounding Dublin in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster, such as the Heremonian Cu Corb  O Connor Faley Sept who had iteir territory to the west of there in nearby Co. Offaly in the north of Southern Leinster, and also the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge O Byrnes who were to the south in nearby Co. Wicklow in the  east of Southern Leinster. Another of the conditions of the English Lord Lieutenant was to give the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Mac Mahons of Orghialla / Oriel the right to hold onto their own territory in the Barony of Farney in Co. Monaghan in Southern Ulster provided they were to protect the English Galls in The English Pale, while the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne O Reillys, who had their kingdom of East Breifne in Co. Cavan to the north - east in Southern Ulster were also to be forced to make a treaty with the English during the following Spring. He was then to make the Mac Mahons who had their territory in Co. Monaghan and Co. Armagh in Southern Ulster,and the O Reillys also there in Co. Cavan, and the O Byrnes in Southern Leinster, also submit again, as by then he was to be further assisted by the Gaelic Milesian Irian O Mores / Ui Mordha Sept who had their territory in the proximity to the south - west of The English Pale in Co. Laois in Southern Leinster, who had been previously also threatened and forced to supply 450 from his Sept to join in with the English campaign to re - submit them all again. Further to the north the O Hanlons / Ui hAnluain from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Airthir Sept who had their territory on the Ulster Province border above Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster were also besieged and their territory totally devastated by the English Galls from out of The English Pale. Among the many others who were also forced to submit were the O Nialls of Clann na Buidhe / Clannaboye from the  Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept in the far north - east of the Ulster Province, the Mac Guinness from the Gaelic Milesian Irian Dal nAraidi Sept who also had their territory in the north - east of there in Ulster, the O Donnells from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill Sept who had their territory in the north - west of Ulster, and the Maguires from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Sept who had their territory in Co. Fermanagh in the south - west of Ulster.

   Art Mac Murrough, the son of Art Mor - the Greater Mac Murrough, who was now the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig King of Leinster ravaged the English Galls who had set up in his territory in Co. Wexford to the south of Co. Wicklow, in the south - east of Southern Leinster, while as a further measure of their on - going greed the English Galls themselves from out of The English Pale in Dublin also besieged the English Galls in Southern Leinster. 

   In an internal conflict over who had the overall authority in the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne kingdom of Breifne, which at this time was still part of the Connacht Province, Tiernan Og - the Younger O Rourke, Aed Buidhe - of the Yellow Hair O Rourke, and Teague O Rourke from their kingdom of West Breifne attacked Myles / Maelmordha O Reilly in the other now divided kingdom of East Breifne in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster.

    In an internal dispute also among the Cenel Conaill Septs and the Cenel nEogain Septs in the Ulster Province, Turlough O Donnell, the son of Niall Garb - the Rough O Donnell, the son of Aed O Donnell, and the heir apparent / Tanaiste of Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal, and 121.Brian O Niall, the son of 120.Enri Aimreid O Niall, attacked the Clann Dalaigh / Daly who were also from the O Donnell's Sept who were also descended from Donnell Mor - the Greater O Donnell, (the grandson of Dalach himself the direct male line ancestor of the O Dalys), and Turlough O Donnell. the son of Niall Garb - the Rough O Donnell, the Chief of Tyrconnell / Co Donegal was to be among those who were killed on both sides. 

     Donnell O Malley / Domhnall Ua Maille who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Umall King of the Owles who had their territory in Co. Mayo in the mid - north west of the Connacht Province, died this year.

   Conor O Melaghlin / O Loughlin / Ua Maelsechlainn who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain King of Meath, in the south of Northern Leinster, died at Lahinch in Moyelly.

    Brian O Niall 11 was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niall Cenel nEogain King of Tyrone and Ulster who had their main territory in Central Ulster.

     Maelsechlainn O Kelly the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine King who had his territory in the east of Co. Galway and Co. Roscommon near Athlone, in the east of the Connacht Province, died this year, and his son, Conor Anabaidh (premature) O Kelly became the new Ui Maine King there.    

    Thomas Mac William Burke the Anglo - Norman Baron, the son of Edmund Albanach Mac William Burke, who controlled the English Galls in the Connacht Province, also died this year, and after his death, 2 Mac Williams were to be made this year, Ulick Mac William Burke, the son of Richard Og - the Younger Burke and Walter Mac William Burke, the son of Thomas Burke who both acknowledged William Burke from the Clanrickard as their particular senior Burke. 

1402 AD Fergal O Rourke was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of West Breifne who had their territory in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht, and he would later be followed in this position by Cu Connacht O Rourke, the son of Magnus O Rourke,

     Phillip Mac Mahon / Pilib Ua Mathgamain, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of Orghialla / Airghialla / Oriel, who had their territory in Co. Monaghan and Co. Armagh in Southern Ulster, died this year, and was succeeded by Ardgal Mac Mahon, the son of Brian Mac Mahon.

     Sheeda / Sioda Cam Mac Namara  the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Caisin Clan Culien King who was the Lord Marshall for the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Ui mBriain Septs founded the Quin / Cuinche Abbey on the road to Limerick in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province, which had been the site of the other castle originally constructed there in Co. Clare by Thomas de Clare, the Anglo - Norman Baron against the Gaelic Dal gCais Septs there.

    120.Niall Og - the Younger O Niall, the son of 119.Niall Mor - the Greater O Niall, the son of 118.Aed Mor - the Greater O Niaill, the Heberian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King of Tyrone and Ulster, died, who had held this position since the abdication of his father in 1397 AD and 121.Aed O Niall, who was the other son of 120.Enri O Niall was imprisoned in the Dublin Castle (The Devil's 1/2 Acre) by the English and would remain in captivity there for 10 years until 1412 AD.

     The sons of Cormac Mac Cathail, the son of Donough Mac Cathail attacked the Anglo - Norman Barretts / Baireid who were set up in their territory in the Connacht Province, but they were defeated.    

     As a further sign of theconstant greedy attitudes of the Anglo - Normans there was now great conflict between Fitz Gerald the fourth English Earl of Desmond and James Butler the third English Earl of Ormonde and both of the Mac William Burkes were also to assist James Butler the English Earl of Ormonde against him.

1403 AD The English presence in Ireland was now very weak with only The English Pale now being held onto by the English surrounding Dublin in Co. Dublin in Southern Leinster, which allowed the Irish Septs the opportunity to acquire horses from the Anglo - Normans, who then became known as the Hobilars and they ravaged the English Galls far and wide, and also the Welsh who had settled themselves on their confiscated territories outside of The English Pale who then fled back across the Irish Sea.

     Conor Anabaidh / premature O Kelly 1V / Conchobar Ua Cellaig who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine King who had their territory in the east of Co. Galway and Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province, died, and was interred in the monastery of John the Baptist at Randoon / Tech Eoin in their territory there of Tir Maine.

     Myles / Maelmordha O Reilly, the son of Chu Connacht O Reilly, now became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of the Muintir Mael Mordha and he was able to capture Eogan O Rourke while Sean O Rourke was wounded, and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin East Breifne Muintir Reilly and the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin West Breifne Muintir Rourke were to have great conflicts between them now over who now had the real authority in the overall kingdom of Breifne, which at this time was still all part of Northern Connacht.

    Cornelius O Dea the Heberian Dal gCais Catholic Archdeacon of Killaloe in Co. Clare became the Catholic Bishop of Limerick in Co. Limerick in the south - west of the Munster Province. 

1404 AD 121.Donnell O Niall, the son of 120.Enri O Niall, the son of 119.Niall O Niall who had been a previous Heremonian King of Tyrone and Ulster, became the new Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King there.

     Gilla Patraic O More / Ua Mordha the Gaelic Milesian Irian King of the Ui Laoighis Sept who had his territory in Co. Laois in the mid - north - west of Southern Leinster defeated the English forces at Blackford.

     Donnell Dunlevy 11 was the Heremonian Dal Fiatach King of Ulaid who had their territory in Co. Antrim and Co. Down in the far - east of the Ulster Province.        

    Felim O Toole / Fedelmid Ua Tuathail was the Heremonian Cu Corb King of the Ui Dunlainge Ui Muireadhaigh Sept who had their territory in Co. Wicklow in the south - east of Southern Leinster.

   Conor Og  - the Younger Mac Dermot, the son of Aed Mac Dermot, who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada King of Moylurg, who had his territory in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province, died, and Teague Mac Dermot another son of Aed Mac Dermot succeeded him as the new King of Moylurg, while Cormac Mac Dermot was killed by the English Gall's Mac William Bourke from the Clan Rickard who were under the leadership of Mac William Burke himself and their men from Thomond / Northern Munster.

   The Mac Carthy Mor - the Greater who had his territory in Co. Kerry, and The O Sullivan Buidhe - of the Yellow Hair who had his territory in Co. Cork, who were both from the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil Sept, were in conflict in Southern Munster over who now had the overall authority there, and both the sons of Diarmait Mac Carthy and the sons of O Sullivan were to be drowned at sea while some of the other sons were captured.

   James Butler the Anglo - Norman third English Earl of Ormonde who had his Estates in Co. Tipperary in North - Eastern Munster and Co. Kilkenny in Southern Leinster, died this year.

1405 AD Richard Hardfoot Butler from their confiscated Estates in Ormonde was killed by a son of Fachtna O More / Ua Mordha from the Gaelic Milesian Irian Ui Laoighis Sept who had their territory nearby in Co. Laois in the mid - north - west of Southern Leinster.

      The Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig Mac Murroughs continued to besiege the English who were set up on their confiscated Estates in Southern Leinster and Co. Wexford, Co. Carlow and Tristledermot were ravaged there.

      Donough O Loughlin / Ua Lochlainn the Gaelic Milesian Irian King of Corcomroe in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province, was killed by the sons of Maelsechlainn O Loughlin also from the Irian Sept there in retribution for previously killing their father.

    The "ferocious" O Byrnes / Ui Broin also from the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlaing Ui Faelain Sept demolished the English town of Newcastle in Co. Wicklow in the east of Southern Leinster. 

    Teague Mac Dermot the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada King of Moylurg who had his kingdom and territory in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province was killed, and Rory Mac Dermot, another son of Aed Mac Dermot became the new Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada King of Moylurg there.

     Fergal was the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn King of Tir nAililla (The Land of 90.Ailll) this year who had their kingdom and territory in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province. 

    Another James Butler 1V became the Anglo - Norman fourth English Earl of Ormonde, who was to be known as the White Earl until 1452 AD. who was the son of James the previous third Earl of Ormonde, whose vast confiscated Estates now took in parts of Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Muster Province and nearby Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster.     

1406 AD O Connor Roe - of Red Complexion O Connor from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray Ui Conchbhair Sept constructed a castle at Tulsk in their territory in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province. 

    Murrough / Murchad O Connor Faly the Heremonian Cu Corb King of Offaly who had his kingdom and territory in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster defeated the invading English Gall forces who had been set up in the nearby Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain kingdomin the  the north of Meath in Northern Leinster, in the Battle of Geisill / Geashill. (The Place of Swans.)

   Mulrooney Mac Donagh / Mael Ruanaidh Mheic Donnchadha, the son of Teague Mac Donagh, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mheic Diarmada King of Tirerril died, and was interred in the Boyle monastery in their territory in the Connacht Province.

   Turlough O Connor, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray Ui Conchobhair King of Connacht, the son of Aed O Connor was killed.  

1407 AD The English authorities in Ireland who were set up in the Dublin Castle (The Devil's 1/2 Acre) were by now 20,000 pounds in debt, with no further funds coming from England, and their English Military operations were now once again confined to defending the regions surrounding The English Pale namely Co. Meath and Co. Louth in Northern Leinster, and Co. Dublin, and Co. Kildare in Southern Leinster, and as this was too large a region for them to totally control against the resistance of the Gaelic Irish Septs they found that they were restricted now mainly to The English Pale only. The frontier lands / marches they had previously held against the defensive Gaelic Irish Septs actually extended from Dundalk on the north - east coast in Co. Louth in Northern Leinster, inland to Kells via Ardee in Co. Meath, which was also in the south - east of Northern Leinster, then south to Naas and Ballymore Eustace in Co. Kildare in Southern Leinster, and then east once again to the sea at Dalkey. This naturally skirted the territory of the "ferocious" Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlaing O Byrnes and O Tooles in the Co. Dublin and Wicklow Mountains in Co. Wicklow in the south - east of Southern Leinster, along with the castles they had previously constructed therein to come up against the Gaelic Irish Septs.

   Mac Namara the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Caisin Clan Culien Chief, died this year.

   O Connor Roe - of Red Complexion from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Sil Murray Ui Conchobhair Sept, O Kelly from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Sept, and Mac Dermot from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada Sept defeated the Anglo - Norman Baron Mac William Burke from the English Clann Rickard and also their force of English Galls, with Cathal O Connor captured and Tulsk Castle in the Connacht Province destroyed by Brian O Connor, the son of Donnell O Connor, and the Clann Donnchadha, and they put Cathal O Connor on Carnfree / Carn Fraich. 

    Sean O Rourke was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of West Breifne who had their kingdom and territory in Co. Leitrim in far Northern Connacht.

   Sir Stephen Scrope / Le Scrope who was the Lancaster Usurper Henry 1V's appointed Lord Lieutenant Deputy in Ireland and the English Galls in the Munster Province killed Teague O Carroll the Heberian Cianacht King of Ely who had both of his territories in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster and in the north of Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province.

1408 AD Thomas Bolingbroke, the young son of the Anglo - Norman Usurper Henry 1V who was now the English King, came to Ireland and took the Anglo - Norman Baron Fitz Gerald who was the Earl of Kildare prisoner and attacked Southern Leinster, which was a strong Anglo - Norman held region. 

1409 AD Conor was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn King of Tir nAililla (The Land of 90.Ailill) who had their kingdom and territory in Co. Sligo in north - west of the Connacht Province.

    Thomas Bolingbroke the young son of Henry 1V the Lancaster Usurper who was now the English King released the Anglo - Norman Baron Fitz Gerald the Earl of Kildare who he had taken prisoner and left Ireland.

    Brian O Hara, the son of John O Hara, the Catholic Bishop of Achrony / Achadh  Conaire / Conaire's Field in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province, died this year. This was where St. Nathi had become the first Bishop there in the 7th Century AD and close nearby there are the remains of an ancient church and the tower of the ruined 15th Century Franciscan Court Abbey.

1410 AD 121.Donnell O Niall the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King of Tyrone and Ulster was captured by Brian Mac Mahon from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch kingdom of Orghialla / Oriel who had their territory nearby to the south in Southern Ulster who were becoming more and more subserviant to the O Nialls.

       Donnell O Flaherty / Domhnall Ua Flaithbheartaigh who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Seola King of Iar / West Connacht / Iarthar  Chonnachtand had their kingdom and territory in the west of the Connacht Province, was killed this year, and Murrough / Murchad O Flaherty became the new Ui Briuin Seola King there.

       Donnell O Hara who was now the Heberian Cianachta King of Leyney / Luigni and a son of Cormac O Hara. whose territory was in Co. Sligo in the north - west of Connacht, died this year,

     Teague O Kelly 11 / Tadhg Ua Ceallaig who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of the Ui Maine Sept who had their kingdom and territory in the east of Co. Galway and in part of Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province. died this year.

     Sadb, the daughter of Conor O Brian, who was the wife of the Anglo - Norman Baron Walter Burke, died this year.
