1471 AD Henry V1 who was mentally unstable was back in as the "last" Anglo - Norman usurper Lancaster English King, and the new Lancaster English Government confirmed Thomas Fitz Maurice Fitz Gerald the Anglo - Norman seventh English Earl of Kildare as their new English Deputy in Ireland.

April: Edward IV was now back in as the Anglo - Norman first Yorkist King of England after the Lancaster supporters were once again to be defeated in battle and there was now great trouble in England as the English Earl of Warwick - the Kingmaker was shot and killed, and Henry V1 the mentally unstable Lancaster King was imprisoned again and then done away with after he was smothered between two beds. while in Ireland, Thomas Fitz Maurice Fitz Gerald the seventh English Earl of Kildare, who was the previous English Deputy had the Anglo - Norman Parliament in Ireland give him 80 permanent archers to protect his person.

     James Fitz Gerald the young Anglo - Norman eighth English Earl of Desmond was now taken prisoner by the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil Mac Carthys the Heberian Chaisil Kings of Southern Munster / Desmond.

    Mac William Burke the Anglo - Norman English Baron who had his confiscated Estates in the Connacht Province took hostages there from Carbury.  

   O Brian was taken prisoner in Co. Clare.in their kingdom of Thomond / Northern Munster.

   The O Niall and The O Donnell made peace after it was instigated by The O Niall, and the son of O Niall Bhuidhe - of the Yellow Hair O Niall and Aed Og - the Younger was ransomed and The O Niall once again gained overall control over the Ulster Province.  

   Thomas Og - the younger Maguire abdicated as the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of Fermanagh, who had his kingdom and territory in the south - west of the Ulster Province, and Eamonn / Emann Maguire his son became the the new King there.

1472 AD The O Niall and The O Donnell came into conflict again and The O Donnell was defeated while Meyler / Mael Muire Mac Sweeney of Fanad was killed along with many others, and he was then succeeded by his son, Rory Mac Sweeney.

     Conn Bhuidhe - of the Yellow Hair O Niall, the son of Aed Bhuidhe - of the Yellow Hair O Niall defeated the Anglo - Norman Mac Quillan Barons who had their confiscated Estates in Route in the north - east of the Ulster Province Cormac Mac Quillan was killed.

      Mahon O Reilly's men from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Sept who had their kingdom of East Breifne and territory in Co. Cavan in the south of the Ulster Province drove off the Tellach Dunchada Sept and their allies in East Breifne and the Muintir Eolais Sept, killing 2 sons of Rory O Reilly along with many others.

    O Kelly the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine King who had his kingdom and territory in the east of Co. Galway and Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province attacked Moneylea, but the Anglo - Norman English Galls including the Tuites, the Petits, the Tyrrells, the de Arcys, and the Daltons who had their confiscated Estates nearby in Co. Westmeath in the south of Northern Leinster defeated him and he was captured .

    James Fitz Gerald the young Anglo - Norman eighth English Earl of Desmond was released by the Heberian Chaisil Mac Carthys and he reduced Gerald Fitz Gerald, the son of the English Earl to impotence.

    Mac William Burke the Anglo - Norman English Earl who had his confiscated Estates in Co. Mayo in the Connacht Province attacked the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Sept to assist Teague Caech O Kelly, but he suffered great losses when his men were either killed or taken prisoner and he was to leave the region  a very depressed individual.

1473 AD O Gilla Patraic / Fitz Patrick the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory / Co. Kilkenny took O More from the Gaelic Milesian Irian Ui Mordha Sept, who had his kingdom and territory in Co. Laois in the mid - north - west of Southern Leinster, prisoner.

    Thomas Mac Feorais / de Bermingham the Anglo 0 Norman English Lord of Athenry, died. and was succeeded by his son, Thomas Og - the Younger Mac Feorais, but instead his title was given to the son of Richard Mac Feorais in opposition to him.

    Richard Mac William Burke, the Anglo - Norman English Baron, died, who had previously resigned his position.   

    Fire caused by lightning destroyed part of Galway City in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht, and it was then to be rebuilt with a Spanish influence.

1474 AD Aed Ruadh - of Red Complexion O Donnell / The O Donnell and his wife, Finola / Finnguala / Fionnuala, the daughter of Conor O Brian the Heberian Dal gCais King of Southern Munster / Thomond, founded a monastery / friary at Donegal in their kingdom and territory of Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the north - west of the Ulster Province where they were both to be later interred with their son,  Aed Oge - the Younger O Donnell who would by then be a Franciscan monk. 

      The Anglo - Norman Parliament in Ireland at this time was known as the Fraternity of St. George, and were led by 12 of the most important English Galls in The English Pale with Thomas Fitz Maurice Fitz Gerald the seventh English Earl of Kildare now in control who had 40 cavalry and 120 permanent archers to protect him, while Sir Gilbert Dagenham who was to also return from England to Ireland with 400 more English archers acted as the Chancellor in Ireland after having being appointed by Edward 1V the reinstated Yorkist English King and 122.Henry / Einri O Niall / The O Niall who was still the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King of Ulster was officially dubbed The King’s Friend.”

   Conn O Connor Faly, the son of Calvagh / Calbhach O Connor Faly, died, and O Connor Faly the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Failghe King of Offaly  who had his kingdom and territory in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster, destroyed the Newtown Castle and Fergal Ruadh - of Red Complexion Mac Eochain's descendants were banished from the region.

   The son of Teague O Brian was killed by the son of Diarmait O Brian his brother, and he was hung for it, and the O Brians were now once again in great internal personal conflict over who now really had the auhority there.

   The O Connor Don - of Brown Complexion and The O Kelly the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine King who had his kingdom and territory in the south - east of Co. Galway and Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province were to be involved in a fight after a private meeting and the The O Connor Don was defeated and his son, Eogan Caech O Connor was captured and Eogan Mac Sweeny killed, and their galloglasses were also either killed or captured, and the The O Connor Don eventually died from the wounds he received.

   There was great conflict now in the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Mac Diarmada kingdom of Moylurg in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province and Mac Dermot from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada was to bring in Mac William Burke the Anglo - Norman English Baron to assist him who ravaged the country as Mac Dermot had no intention of making peace with his opposition.

    The O Niall from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain and The O Donnell from the Heremopnian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niall Cenel Conaill were still in conflict over the overall authority in the Ulster Province, along with the Cenel nEogain Clan na Bhuidhe / Clanaboye, resulting once again in heavy losses on all sides.

   Sean O Farrell was now the Gaelic Milesian Irian King of Annaly who had his kingdom and territory in Co. Longford in the north - west of Northern Leinster.  

1475 AD Aed O Niall was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King of Ulster in the north.

    Redmond / Remann Mac Mahon was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of Orghialla / Airghialla (Oriel) who had their kingdom and territory in Co. Monaghan and Co. Armagh in Southern Ulster.

   Murrough O Madden / Murchad Madadhain was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Siol nAnmchada King, who had his kingdom and territory in the south - east of Co. Galway in the Connacht Province.

     The O Malley from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Sept constructed the Augustine friary of Murrisk Abbey at Murrisk in his kingdom and territory in Co. Mayo in the mid - west of the Connacht Province on the shore of Clew Bay and it is now in ruins, with some restoration, and there is also a tomb of the O Malleys there.

April: Edward 1V the first Anglo - Norman Yorkist King of England sent over another 220 English archers to Ireland to reinforce their Military hold over Ireland, and once again removed the Fitz Gerald influence, by replacing Thomas Fitz Maurice Fitz Gerald the Aglo - Norman seventh English Earl of Kildare as his Deputy, and appointed the Fitz Gerald's sworn enemy, Sherwood the English Catholic Bishop of Meath, to stand in for the Duke of Clarence his brother who would be his future English Lieutenant in Ireland, who would also be executed later on.

    Sean O Farrell the Gaelic Milesian Irian King of Annaly, who had his kingdom and territory in Co. Longford in the north - west of Northern Leinster, died at Granard, and was interred in the monastery at Lara, and Rory O Farrell, the son of Cathal O Farrell, was proclaimed the new King of Annaly.

    The O Donnell the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill King made the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Septs of The O Rourke and The O Reilly make peace, and then went on to Cuircne at the western end of Co. Westmeath in Northern Leinster where he made peace also with the English Galls, the Dillons and the Daltons, and then to Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster and Cairbre in Leinster were he was joined by O Connor Faly the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Failghe King of Offaly, and the English Galls who had their confiscated Estates in the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain kingdom of Meath came to oppose him and fighting soon broke out, but he made peace with them also, and then returned to his territory in Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the Ulster Province via Athlone in Co. Westmeath.

     The English Galls who had confiscated Estates in the kingdom of Machaire Oirghialla, and the sons of Aed Ruadh - of Red Complexion Mac Mahon defeated Remann Mac Mahon, the son of Rory Mac Mahon, who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of Orghialla in Southern Ulster, but while also taking him prisoner they killed many there.

    Callow Castle in Co. Mayo in the mid - west of the Connacht Province was captured by Mac William Burke / Clan Rickarde the Anglo - Norman English Baron,who gave it to the son of Maelsechlainn O Kelly and his daughter.

   Aed O Niall, the son of Eogan O Niall, who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Cenel nEogain Prince / Tanaiste of Ulster, died this year.

1476 AD Teague / Tadhg O Rourke was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of West Breifne in Co. Leitrim in the north - west of the Connacht Province.  

    Donnell Riabach - of Grey or Speckled Complexion Mac Murrough, the son of Gerailt Caomhanach / Cavanagh Mac Murrough the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig King of Leinster, died this year.

    Mac William Burke the Anglo - Norman English Baron raided the north of the Connacht Province going up against The O Donnell, with The Mac Dermot assisting Mac William Burke and Mac Donagh assisting The O Donnell, and on arriving into Carbury they came face to face and made peace instead dividing the north of Connacht into two with the O Dowd / Ua Dubda territory and the kingdom of Leyney and half of Carbury to Mac William Burke and the other half to The O Donnell.

     The Barry Oges / de Barri who were Anglo - Norman English Earls, constructed Dunaneir Castle at Innis Shannon in Co. Cork in Southern Munster against the Gaelic Irish Septs there this year and the ruins are still there to be seen.

    The English Galls who had their confiscated Estates in the O Melaghlins / Mac Loughlins Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain kingdom of Meath in the south of Northern Leinster attacked Sean O Farrell the Gaelic Milesian Irian King of Annaly who had his territory nearby to the north - west in Co. Longford in Northern Leinster where they destroyed Rathreagh and burnt the monastery at Shrule, and the crops there, and then left the area,

   The English Galls in the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill kingdom of Meath were once again at war also with their fellow English Galls who had their confiscated Estates in Southern Leinster.

  Cormac Mac Carthy, the son of Donough Mac Carthy, was taken prisoner by Cormac, the son of Teague of Muskerry and the resulting ongoing conflicts now spread throughout the Munster Province and into the south of Ireland destroying both the English Galls and the Gaelic Irish Septs who got in the way and Gerald Fitz Gerald, the son of the Anglo - Norman English Earl of Desmond was killed, and later still another 18 of the Fitz Geralds were also killed. 

      Thomas Fitz Maurice Fitz Gerald the Anglo - Norman seventh English Earl of Kildare enlarged the Maynooth Castle in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster, which may have been originally constructed there by his male line ancestor, Maurice Fitz Gerald, who had arrived into Ireland with Strongbow 11 / Richard de Clare during the 12th Century AD.  

1477 AD Gerald Mor - the Greater Fitz Gerald who was soon to be the Anglo - Norman eighth English Earl of Kildare until 1513 AD, was also a Yorkist supporter who would become the English Lord Deputy in Ireland, replacing his father and he was to eventually be married to the future Welsh Tudor Lancaster related Henry VII's cousin when Henry V11 - also a Usurper would come into power in England, who would really require his alliance, and as he was also allied with every Gaelic Irish KIng, he was to have great authority in Ireland. His capacity to control Ireland for the English Kings, for the least amount of monetary outlay, was always beyond question and Garrett Fitz Gerald, his son, would later on also enlarge his confiscated Estate at Maynooth in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster and would have 400 Gaelic Irish spearmen in his entourage, and was even to make his English wife learn to speak Gaelic Irish, and would resolve his battles by discussion, and would also refuse Cardinal Wolsey's authority over Ireland. 

   Thomas Butler became the Anglo - Norman English seventh Earl of Ormonde  as he was the third son of James the previous English fourth Earl of Ormonde, and his confiscated Ormonde Estates were in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province and nearby in Co, Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster until 1515 AD,   

1478 AD March 25th: Thomas Fitz Maurice Fitz Gerald the previous Anglo - Norman seventh Earl of Kildare had died, and the English Duke of Clarence who had been Edward 1V's brother and English Lieutenant Governor in Ireland was executed for treason, and the English Bishop Sherwood was also to be out of favour, and the Anglo - Irish Council immediately elected his son, Gerald Mor Fitz Gerald the eighth English Earl of Kildare to be the English Justiciar in Ireland.

May: Gerald Mor Fitz Gerald, the new Anglo - Norman English eighth Earl of Kildare, summoned an Anglo - Norman Parliament in Ireland, which met at Naas.

July: The Anglo - Norman Parliament was then continued on in Dublin.

 July 6th: Once again Edward 1V removed the overall influence of the Fitz Geralds, and appointed Lord Grey as his new English Deputy in Ireland, to replace Gerald Mor Fitz Gerald the eighth English Earl of Kildare. 

August: Lord Grey arrived into Ireland with a further 300 English archers and immediately met resistance from Gerald Mor Fitz Gerald's supporters, and even the Constable in control of the Dublin Castle (The Devil's 1/2 acre) refused him entry, and the Chancellor, Roland Fitz Eustace, (who was the eighth Earl of Kildare’s father - in - law) kept the Seal from him, while the Treasurer assigned all revenues so that nothing monetary was left for Lord Grey to use.

September: The Anglo - Norman Parliament was continued in Connell.

 November: Lord Grey convened another English controlled Parliament at Trim in Co. Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster, which was then adjourned to Drogheda in Co. Louth and then back to Dublin, calling Gerald Mor Fitz Gerald the eighth Earl of Kildare’s Anglo - Norman Parliament a “Pretend  Parliament” and annulled all it’s legislation and 2  basic English Parliaments in Ireland were now fighting for total overall control in Ireland). 

     Roscommon Castle in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province was passed on to The O Connor Don by Donnell O Connor, the son of Eogan O Connor, which was always to be in dispute between the 3 Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhach / Sil Murray Ui Conchobair Septs.

    Sligo Castle in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province was captured by the Anglo - Norman Baron Mac William Burke taking it from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill O Donnells and he handed it over to Rory O Connor, the son of Brian O Connor, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Carbury and Mac William Burke then devastated the territory in the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada kingdom of Moylurg in Co. Roscommon in Connacht belonging to Rory Mac Dermot, who in retaliation went to Croghan and had himself proclaimed King in opposition to his kinsman, Conor Mac Dermot who was the present King of Moylurg and he besieged the Rock, where the only son of Conor Mac Dermot was killed by an arrow and the Rock was captured, and Rory Mac Dermot became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Moylurg / Mag Luirc in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province and drove out Conor Mac Dermot.

   There was now great conflict in the kingdom of Machaire Connacht under Felim Finn - of Fair Complexion O Connor and the The O Conor Don and the sons of Teague O Connor, Felim O Connor's sons and the sons of The O Connor Roe / Ruadh - of Red Complexion O Connor against them, and the whole region was devastated and Turlough Ruadh - of Red Complexion O Connor, the son of Rory O Connor, the son of Felim O Connor, the Prince / Tanaiste of Connacht was killed    

   Thomas O Con Chennain who was now the King of the  Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Diarmada Sept, died this year.

   There was peace in the Gaelic Milesian Irian O Farrell's kingdom of Annaly in Co. Longford in the north - west of Northern Leinster, which was now divided into two kingdoms.

    The son of Fergal O Gara who was previously slain as the Tanaiste / Prince of Coolavin in 1461 AD in the north - west of the Connacht Province, and Manus O Gara, the son of David O Gara. were slain this year.

    Thomas Butler, the son of Piers Butler was killed this year, as was Richard Butler, the son of Edmund mac Richard Butler.       

1479 AD Gerald Mor Fitz Gerald the Anglo - Norman eighth English Earl of Kildare had previously gone over to England to see Edward 1V the Yorkist King, and won him over and was then re - appointed his English Deputy in Ireland to replace Lord Grey, and Edward 1V then had both legislations of the 2 English Parliaments in Ireland annulled giving the eighth Earl of Kildare instructions as to what Statutes were to be passed to suite him personally, but Gerald Mor Fitz Gerald the eighth Earl of Kildare called another Anglo - Norman Parliament in Ireland and totally ignored whatever Statutes the Norman English Yorkist King had wanted passed to bolster his own authority in Ireland. His nemesis, the Catholic Bishop Sherwood was once again appointed, as the Chancellor in Ireland by Edward 1V, and Roland Fitz Eustace was retained in Ireland as the Treasurer.

     Breasal O Madden the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine King founded a Franciscan friary at Meelick / Mileac on the River Shannon in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht.

1480 AD 122.Henry / Einri O Niall, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King in the Ulster Province, was formerly thanked by the Anglo - Norman Parliament in Dublin for faithful service to Edward 1V the English Yorkist King and Co. Down in the south - east of Ulster was to be composed mainly of Anglo - Normans who were to retain their strong English character there until the end of the Middle Ages.

   Eogan O Donnell, the son of Niall Garb - the Rough O Donnell, the Prince / Tanaiste of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill who had their territory in Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the west of the Ulster Province. was killed at Clonleigh by his kinsmen, and Rory O Donnell, the son of Rory O Donnell, was to be also killed by the sons of Niall Garb - the Rough O Donnell.

    The Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain O Brians were to construct Leamaneh Castle this year in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province, situated between Corofin and Kilfenora that would suffer much later on under the forces of Oliver Cromwell'sunrelenting persecution and devestation.

   Diarmait O Dea the Heberian Dal gCais Cineal Fearmaic King constructed the Dysert O Dea Castle, 3 miles out of Corofin, and 7 miles out of Ennis near the Dysert O Dea Church also in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province.
