773AD 99.Donn Cothaid the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Fiachrach Muaide 28th King of Connacht, died, who was a son of 98.Cathal, the son of 97.Ailill, one of the 3 sons of 96.Dunchad Muirisci the previous 16th King of Connacht, descended from 92.Fiachnae, one of the 3 sons of *91.Feradach / Dathi / Nathi who had been the Gaelic Milesian 127th King of Tara / Ireland, one of the 3 sons of 90.Fiachra the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Fiachrach Septs and a brother to 90.Brion, 90.Ailill, and a half - brother to *90.Niall - of the Nine Hostages the Gaelic Milesian 126th King of Tara / Ireland. 99.Donn Cothaid was to be the last of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach Kings of Connacht as the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Septs from now on were to reign unchallenged in the Connacht Province. but they too were to soon evolve more clearly into further distinct Septs, which would ensure greater rivalry among them also from now on for the Kingship of the Connacht Province.

774 AD 103.Tumelty / Tomaltach the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray King, died, who was a son of 102.Murgal, one of the 4 sons of 101.Indrechtach the previous 21st King of Connacht, who was one of the 2 sons of 101.Murray / Muireadach Muillethan the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh Sept and also the Siol Cathail Sept in the Connacht Province with 103.Tumelty previously producing 3 sons who would also become Kings of Connacht including 104.Muirgius the 31st King of Connacht who would make the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin in Connacht a power to be reckoned with, while 104.Diarmait would become the 33rd King of Connacht, and 104.Finsnechta the 37th King of Connacht.  

775 AD *102.Donough / Donnchad Midi  who was now the Gaelic Milesian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 163rd King of Ireland launched a campaign against the Munster Province, to try and express his Heremonian Ui Niaill authority over the Heberian Septs there and also over the territory in Southern Leinster, causing great devastation there, and as he was able to defeat them he was to also do the same the next year to maintain this overlordship.

     The Cele de / Culdees (Clients of God), who were a religious reforming order of monks, had their main house at Tallaght near Dublin in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster under St. Mael Ruain, and the region there where they were set up was to suffer greatly later on during the coming Viking raids.

      With the decline of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach Sept the pressure was further increased from the north in the Connacht Province on the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Sept who had previously been their ally and they were now also routed at Athleague / Ath Liag (The Ford of the Standing Stones) on the River Suck near the Co. 777 AD 101.Flaithri who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 29th King of Connacht, abdicated, who was a son of 100.Donnell / Domhnall the previous 22nd King of Connacht, one of the 2 sons of 99.Kelly / Ceallach the previous 19th King of Connacht, one of the 3 sons of 98.Reilly / Raghallach who had been the 12th King of Connacht and the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Briuin Ai Sept.

     102.Artgal became the new Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh Siol Cathail 30th King of Connacht, who was one of the 4 sons of 101.Cathal the previous 23rd King of Connacht, who is the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Cathail Sept, and one of the 2 sons of 100.Murray / Muireadhach the 18th King of Connacht who is the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh (Sil Murray) Sept, who was another of the 3 sons of 98.Reilly / Raghallach the 12th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Briuin Ai Sept.

 778 AD 99.Niall Frossach - of the Showers the previous Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 162nd King of Ireland, who had abdicated in 770 AD was to die this year while on a pilgrimage to the Holy island of Iona of 94.St. Columbcille. He had been one of the 2 sons of *98.Fergal mac Maele Duin the previous Gaelic Milesian 156th King of Ireland, descended from 91.Eogain whmhad been the 1st King of Ailech and one of the 8 sons of *90.Niall - of the Nine Hostages the Gaelic Milesian 126th King of Ireland and the direct male line ancestor of all the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill Septs.

     102.Artgal the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh Siol Cathail 30th King of Connacht defeated the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Sept again, who had their territory in Co. Galway in the south - east of the Connacht Province.

     100.Congalach the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Siol nAedo Slaine 19th King of Brega, who had his territory in the south - east of Northern Leinster, died, who was son of 99.Conaing the previous 16th King of Brega, who was a grandson of 97.Congalach the 10th King of Brega, who was one of the 2 sons of 96.Conaing Cuirrc the 6th King of Brega, a son of 95.Congal the 3rd King of Brega, one of the 5 sons of *94.Aed Slaine the previous Gaelic Milesian 141st joint King of Ireland.  His male line was to continue on through his son, 101.Kelly / Ceallach until the advent of *104.Congalach Cnogba - of Knowth who 228 years later on, would for a short time, finally revive the fortunes of the Siol nAedo Slaine Sept when he was to become the 33rd King of Brega and the Gaelic Milesian 172nd King of Ireland. 

      93.Aed Fionn - of Fair Complexion the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King of Argyll in Alba / Scottish Highlands, died, who was a great - grandson of 90.Eochy / Eochaidh the previous King of Dal Riada in 726 AD, and his son who was another 94.Eochy / Eochaidh was also to be the King of Argyll, who was to marry the sister of Unuist the King of the Scythian Gaelic Picts and in 841 AD she was to produce a son, 95.Ailpin, who was also to be the King of Argyll, who was able therefore to lay claim through the female line to the Gaelic Pictish kingdom thereby enabling in the future his son, 96.Kenneth / Cainnech mac Ailpine to become the first King of the Scythian Gaelic  Miesian Celtic Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Scottii and the Scythian Celtic Gaelic Picts in Alba / Scottish Highlands.

(This was to be the end of his particular Ui Briuin Ai male line to the Kingship of Connacht.

      99.Fergal the Heberian Eoghanacht Raithlind King / Ri of South Muman / Des Muman / Desmond / Southern Munster, died, who was a son of 98.Eladach, a son of 97.Selbach, a son of 96.Clarenach, the son of 95.Coirpre Riastrain, whose father was 94.Aed Osraige, one of the 2 sons of 93.Loegaire the direct male line ancestor of the Heberian Ui Laegairi Sept, who was one of the 2 sons of 92.Criffan / Crimthann, whose other son, 93.Aed Ualgarb is the direct male line ancestor of the Cenel nAeda Sept. In turn, 92.Crimthann was a son of 91.Eochy / Echu the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Echach Muman Sept, who was a son of 90.Mac Cass, another of the 7 sons of 89. Conall Corc the Chaisil 1st King of Cashel / Munster. 99.Fergal's male line was to eventually produce 104.Dub Da Bairenn the future 36th King of Cashel / Munster).

Kildare in Central Southern Leinster, and many churches there were burnt during the raids.  

780 AD The Heberian Eoghanachta Septs continued to share the Kingship of Munster between their own Eoghanacht Septs only, while the Heberian In Deis Tuaiscirt Dal gCais Septs set up in Co. Clare established greater influence over Co. Limerick and Co. Tipperary in Tuath Muman / Thomond / Northern Munster)
