/ Connacht Province
and then "married"
*60.Cimbaoth
and handed over her warriors to him.
*61.Macha Mongruadh
then decided to rid herself of the troublesome young
Irian
Princes
/ Tanaistes
altogether, and went to
Connacht Province
herself
and brought them back to the
Ulster Province
were the
Ulstermen
decided that they should all be "executed" to ensure there was no more "conflict"
over the
Irian Kingships,
*61..Macha Mongruadh
would not go along with this decision and instead put them to "work" building a
rath, which would become the chief fort of
the
Irian
Septs of Ulster Province.
She was to mark the area of the foundations with her golden brooch from around her
neck,
Emain / Eo muin
/ eo
- brooch
/ muin
- neck, initially
Eomuin it would
later be changed into Latin and known as
Emania.
Ulster Province then
became a kingdom in its own right with
*60.Cimbaoth
as the Gaelic Milesian
1st Irian King.
There were to be
13
Kings of Emania
down
to
64.Conor mac Nessa
the future
Irian King of Ulster,
who would bring about its decline.
