90.Brion - 98.Reilly the Heremonian Dal Cuinn 12th King of Connacht -  O Connor  

    90.Brion was the first Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Ui Felim Dal Cuinn King of Connacht and is the direct male line ancestor of all of the Ui Briuin Septs in the Connacht Province, including the Siol Muireadhaigh Ui Conchobair O Connors, and although he was to have 24 sons, only one of these sons, 91.Daui Tenga Uma - of the Sweet Tongue was to become the aristocratic warrior direct male line ancestor of the 4 main Ui Briuin Septs, the Ui Briuin Ai, the Ui Briuin Breifne, the Ui Briuin Sinna and the Ui Briuin Seola who between them would eventually control the whole of Connacht.

      90.Brion's father, *69.Eochy Mugmedon, had been the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn 124th King of Tara / Ireland who was descended from *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles the previous Gaelic Milesian 110th King of Tara / Ireland who is the the direct male line ancestor of all of the Dal Cuinn (The People of *83.Conn) Septs, and he had been one of the sons of *82.Felim / Feidhlimidh the Gaelic Milesian 108th King of Tara / Ireland (Ui Felim) descended from *60.Coffey / Cobthach the  Gaelic Milesian 69th King of Tara / Erinn (Ui Cobhthaigh) In turn his father, *59.Ugaine Mor - the Great, who would have the greatest Heremonian gene pool in Ireland had been the Gaelic Milesian 66th King of Tara / Erinn descended from *37.Eremon the Gaelic Milesian Joint 1st King of Tara / Erinn the direct male line ancestor of all of the Heremonian Septs, who was one of the 8 sons of *36.Mil the 3rd King of Castile and Portugal who was known as the Celtic Hero of Spain.

     90.Brion (Ui Briuin) had been a brother to 90.Fiachra who became the second Dal Cuinn King of Connacht and the direct male line ancestor of the "northern" and "southern" Ui Fiachrach Septs, and he was also a brother to 90.Ailill the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Ailello Septs who between them were to all make up the 3 Connachta Tuatha / Family region in Sreng's Fifth / Connacht Province (The Land of *83.Conn) named for *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles. 90.Brion's half - brother was also *90.Niall - of the Nine Hostages the Gaelic Milesian 126th King of Tara / Ireland who is the direct male line ancestor of the "southern" Ui Niaill Septs in Northern Leinster and the "northern" Ui Niaill Septs in the Ulster Province.

     The Connacht Province that the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Septs were all to finally occupy was originally known as Sreng's Fifth, as it was previously inhabited by the Fir Bolg / Firvolgian / Belgae Septs under the Tuatha de Danann and they are now known generically in the west of Ireland as the Ernaidhe, the Erneans and the Ernaechs, as they had also inhabited the territory around Loch Erne to the north of the Connacht Province, but they were to be slowly absorbed by the many expanding Gaelic Milesian aristocratic warrior Septs throughout Ireland. The future Ui Briuin Breifne kingdom of Breifne / Hilly Country, which was originally under the total control of the Erneans, that took in the territory in Co. Leitrim and Co. Cavan, that was then also part of Sreng's Fifth, would be taken over by the Ui Briuin Breifne Septs of the O Rourkes and their kinsmen the O Reillys who were both descended from 90.Brion.

       90.Brion's mother had been 89.Mongfind, a sister to *89.Criffan / Crimthann Mor the Gaelic Milesian Heberian Eoghanacht King of Munster who became the 125th King of Tara / Ireland with 89.Mongfind's assistance and both were descended from *37.Eber Fionn - of Fair Complexion who had been a brother to *37Eremon the direct male line ancestor of all of the Heremonian Septs including the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai. 90.Brion should have been the 126th King of Tara / Ireland in his own right, but he was passed over by his father in preference to his younger half - brother, *90.Niall who displayed greater ability and who later on became the Gaelic Milesian 126th King of Tara / Ireland after *89.Criffan who had ensured that he would, just as his father had deceed.

      Another of 90.Brion's sons, 91.Orbison is the direct male line ancestor of the O Malleys / Ui Maille and the O Morans in the Connacht Province, while another, 91.Earc Dearg is the direct male line ancestor of the O Hanleys / O Handlys and Mac Brannan Families. His third son;

    91.Duach Galach / 91.Daui Tenga Uma - of the Sweet Tongue became the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Felim Dal Cuinn 3rd King of Connacht who was to die in 502 AD, as the father of 2 sons who were to carry their aristocratic warrior Ui Briuin male line forward.

     (1) 92.Senach was to become the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Briuin Seola Sept in their kingdom and territory, producing the main Septs / Family branches of the O Flahertys and the Mac Hayes in the Connacht Province, and 2 Kings of Connacht through and including his descendant 95.Kennelly / Cenn Faelad who was to be the 15th King of Connacht who would die in 682 AD. In turn his descendant 101.Murrogh / Murchad was to be the King of West Connacht / Iar  Chonnacht, and one of his sons, 102.Cleirchen was to be a Ui mBriuin Seola King who was to die in 912 AD. Another son, 102.Uroman was to become the grandfather of 104.Flaherty / Flaithbertach who became the direct male line ancestor of the O Flaherty Septs in Connacht and the grandfather of 106.Murray / Muireadach who was to die in 1034 AD. He in turn was to be the father of 107.Rory / Ruaidri O Flaherty who also became a King of West Connacht / Iarthair Chonnacht and the grandfather of 109.Flaherty O Flaherty / Flaithbertach Ua Flaithbertaigh who became the Ui Briuin Seola 52nd King of Connacht who was to die in 1098 AD as the second and last from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Seola Sept to achieve the overall Kingship of Connacht. The other son of 91.Daui' Tenga Uma who carried the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin aristocratic warrior male line forward was;

    (2) 92.Eogan / Owen Greab / 92.Eogan Srem who was also the father of 2 sons, who were to leave another two distinct aristocratic warrior Ui Briuin Septs in their own territories and kingdoms in the Connacht Province. 93.Fergus was to become the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Briuin Breifne Sept who were to eventually also produce 4 Kings of Connacht and their main Families were to be the O Rourkes, the Mac Ternans / Mac Tiernans, the O Reillys, the O Bradys and the Mac Kinnawe / Mac Kinneavy / Fords. One of their first standouts was 100.Dub Dothra who became a Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin King in his own right , who was to die in 743 AD, who was the great - grandfather of 103.Tiernan / Tigernan who became the Ui Briuin King of Breifne in their own territory and kingdom of Breifne in Co. Leitrim in the north - east of Connacht and Co. Cavan that is now in Southern Ulster, who was to die in 892 AD. His son, 104.Rourke / Ruarc - the Champion was also to be a Ui Briuin King of Breifne who then became the direct male line ancestor of the O Rourkes. His son, 105.Art mac Ruairc was to be the father of 103.Fergal O Rourke who was to become the first one from the Ui Briuin Breifne Sept to become the Ui Briuin 43rd King of Connacht who was to die in 966/7 AD. His son, 107.Aed who was to die in 1046 AD became the father of 108.Art Uallach - the Proud O Rourke who became the second one from the Ui Briuin Breifne Sept to become the 48th King of Connacht. In turn his son, 109.Aed O Rourke was to be the Ui Briuin Breifne 50th King of Connacht who was to die in 1087 AD, leaving no further aristocratic warrior issue towards the Kingship. It was then up to the descendants of his brother, 109.Niall O Rourke, who had previously died in 1047 AD, to carry their aristocratic warrior Ui Briuin Breifne male line forward as the father of 110.Ualgarg - of Fierce Pride O Rourke who then became the grandfather of 112.Donnell / Domhnall O Rourke who became the Ui Briuin Breifne 53rd King of Connacht who was to die in 1102 AD. He was to be the last one from the Ui Briuin Breifne aristocratic warrior male line altogether to be a King of Connacht descending from 93.Fergus.

       110.Ualgarg O Rourke through another of his sons, 111.Donnell O Rourke was also to be the great - grandfather of the "aged" 113.Tiernan O Rourke the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin King of West Breifne / Co. Leitrim who was to be murdered by the English Galls in 1172 AD after the Anglo - Norman Invasion. His young wife, Dervorgilla, a Heremonian Princess from the "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain Sept, was to be the catalyst for the Anglo - Norman Invasion after being carried off by the infamous 113.Dermot / Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall - of the Foreigners the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 59th King of Leinster who was always up to something nefarious.

      The Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne Sept had intermittently shared the Kingship of Connacht with their other close Heremonian Dal Cuinn kinsmen, the "northern" and "southern" Ui Fiachrach Sept descending from 90.Brion's brother, 90.Fiachra, and their other close kinsmen the previouslky mentioned Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Seola Sept, but it was all about to change as their other Ui Briuin kinsmen from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Sept were then to gain the upper hand completely as the future Kings of Connacht.

      The other son of 92.Eogan Srem who was to produce the much more dominant Ui Briuin Ai Sept was;

93.Murray / Muireadach Mal the direct male line ancestor of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Sept, who would become so successful in the future, producing not only the Kings of Connacht, but also 2 Ui Briuin Ai Kings of Ireland whose son who carried the their aristocratic warrior male line forward was;

95.Eochy / Eochaidh Tiormcharna / Tirmcharna who became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai  6th King of Connacht who was to be the father of;

96.Aed / Aodh mac Echach who became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 8th King of Connacht who was to die in 577 AD, who is the direct male line ancestor of the O Flynns of Connacht who were to become an important Sept under the O Connor Kings and in turn he was to be the father of;

97.Uadha / Uater / Uatu who became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 9th King of Connacht who was to die in 601/2 AD who was to be the father of;

98.Reilly / Raghallach / Rogallach who became the Heremonian Ui Briuin Ai 12th King of Connacht who was to die in 649 AD, as the father of 3 sons who would carry their aristocratic warrior Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai male line forward to the Kingship of Connacht and also of Ireland.

      (1) 99.Cathal who was to die in 680 AD was to be the father of 100.Donnell / Domhnall who was to become the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 21a King of Connacht who was to die in 714 AD, which then ended his particular aristocratic warrior male line to the Kingships.

     (2) 99.Kelly / Cellach who was to be the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 19th King of Connacht who also became the father of 2 sons of his own who would continue on their Ui Briuin Ai male line to the Kingships,

          (1) 100.Donnell / Domhnall who became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 22nd King of Connacht who was to be the father of 101.Flaithri the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 29th King of Connacht who was to abdicate in 777 AD and die in 779 AD, which also saw the end his particular aristocratic warrior male line to the Kingship.

         (2) 100.Fergus / Fearghus / Forggus who became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 25th King of Connacht was to die in 756 AD, while his son, 101.Colla (Great Chief) became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 31a King of Connacht who was to die in 796 AD, which also ended his particular aristocratic warrior male line to the Kingship.
