QUINSY- Symptoms: An Abscess of the Tonsils. 

 

QUITTOR - Horses: The Horse breaks out in Running Pus around the top of the Hooves due to feeding too much PROTEIN without the exercise to use it up. Treatment: Give a Bran Mash and put the Horse on plain Grass, Grass Hay or in a paddock with limited feed. Give Vitamin C by Mouth, 3 x Tablespoons a day until the condition clears up. N.B: Do not  allow the Legs to become Infected! Wash the Pus away with 1 x Tablespoon of Copper Sulphate and 1 x Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in 1 x Litre of Water. Keep the Lesions free of Flies with Flint’s Oils. Include Seaweed Meal & Dolomite to ensure Minerals as well as limited Hard Feed.
