                                                                                                                                                                      Eoghanachta of Munster - 05.

Over the next 300 years the Gaelic Milesian Heberian Septs / Family branches of aristocratic warriors descending from *37.Heber Fionn - of Fair Complexion were to become completely dominant in the Munster Province, in the south as the Heberian Eoghanachta Septs now descended from 85.Eoghan Mor and his only son 86.Fiacha Muillethan and in the north as the Heberian Dal gCais Septs descending from his brother 85.Cormac Cass, while the Cianachta Septs descending from their other brother, 85.Cian / Keen and his son 86.Teague / Tadhg mac Cian were to follow in the service of their Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn kinsmen and support their efforts throughout their expansion in various regions in Ireland. The Heremonian Septs originally descending from *37.Eremon who were by now more directly descended from *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles, who had been the Gaelic  Milesian Heremonian 110th King of Tara / Ireland, were now known as the Dal Cuinn Septs who were to become even more dominant in the north and the centre of Ireland.

234 AD. 84.Ailill Oluimm, the Gaelic Milesian Heberian 1st King of Munster, died, and his second oldest son 85.Cormac Cass was to be the 2nd King of Munster and later the 1st King of Northern Munster while his grandson, 86.Fiacha Muilleathan, the son of his older brother 85.Eoghan Mor (Eoghanachta) was to become the 1st King of Southern Munster until the year 245 AD.

*85.Cormac mac Airt who was now the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn 115th King of Tara / Ireland was advised to demand more tribute / boru in the form of cattle from the Munster Province as it was believed that they had escaped paying the correct tribute for what was now in reality two Provinces there, Northern Munster and Southern Munster for which they had previously paid as one, and he sent couriers to 86.Fiacha Muilleathan, the son of 85.Eoghan Mor who was now the Heberian 1st King of Southern Munster and demanded further tribute for this second new Province who instead offered to help him out of his financial difficulties, while denying his demand and outright refused to pay the additional tribute. *85.Cormac mac Airt gathered together his warriors and marched on Munster and on arriving there he camped at the Hill of Oxen / Drom Damhghaire where his Druids advised him to first deprive the cattle of Munster of any water and 86.Fiacha Muilleathan on realizing what they were up to, sent a messenger to Valentia Island / Oilean Daraire on the west - coast of Co. Kerry in the south - west of Southern Munster to Mogh Ruith from  the Gaelic Ithian Corco Loigde Sept who was the most famous Druid of his time. He agreed to assist 86.Fiacha Muilleathan and Munster with their water situation if he could be given territory for his own Family Sept and for his assistance 86.Fiacha Mulleathan agreed to give him what is now the Barony of Fermoy in Co. Cork in Southern Munster were his descendants the O Duggans and O Cronins still abide today. The water for the cattle was then found at Imleach Grianan in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of Munster and the warriors from Munster then attacked *85.Cormac mac Airt driving him and his force out of Knocklong / Cnoc Luinge in Co. Limerick and continued to follow them as they made their way back to the north through Southern Leinster and attacked them as they went along to ensure they did not return. The well that they used for the cattle to obtain their drinking water in Munster at this time is still in existence today, and is known as Tobar / Tipra Ceann Mor (The Well of the Great Head) and the stream running from it is known as Sruth / Spring Ceann Mor.

Although 84.Ailill Oluimm the Heberian 1st King of Munster had decreed that the Heberian Septs of his two oldest sons, *85.Eoghan Mor and 85.Cormac Cass should alternate the Kingship of Munster between them, this was to only occur for a while after his demise, as the Eoghanacht Septs descended from 85.Eoghan Mor became greater in number and also controlled more territory there in the MunsterProvince and on settling on the Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of Munster near the end of the 4th Century AD, the Eoghanachta who were to be then under 89.Conall Corc, an aristocratic warrior descendant of 85.Eoghan Mor, basically took over what then became the Kingship of Cashel / Munster in their own right for the next 600 years. At the end of that time their exclusive reign was to be brought to an end following on from knowledge gained by 103.Lorcan / Larkin who would then be the Heberian Dal gCais Chieftain descended from 85.Cormac Cass - of the Curly Hair and who would be the father of 104.Kennedy / Ceaneidigh the direct male line ancestor of the Heberian Dal gCais O Kennedys originally of Co. Clare, later Ormond in Co. Tipperary and eventually Co. Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster who would produce John F., Robert and Edward in America. 103.Lorcan was to then be informed of the original decree of 84.Ailill Oluimm, by his Heberian Eoghanacht kinsman, 102.Cormac mac Cuilennain who was to become the "reluctant" Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil 31st King of Cashel / Munster who was not only a great historian, but a very pious concerned Bishop of Cashel. 103.Lorcan’s son, 104.Kennedy was to then try hard to regain the Kingship of Munster for the Heberian Dal gCais / Dalcassian Septs descended from 85.Cormac Cass and he became an outstanding leader while pushing their chances forward. Two of his sons, 105.Ahern / Eachthighearn / Lord of Horses and 105.Duncan / Donncuan, were to be killed while defending the Heberian Eoghanacht King of Munster at that later time by *101.Congalach / Connolly Gnogba - of Knowth / North Brega who was then to be the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Siol nAedo Slaine 172nd King of Ireland, and 104.Kennedy also was also killed a few days later while defending his own position against the Eoghanacht King of Cashel / Munster and his Viking allies.

The disruptions by then that were also occurring all over Ireland with the coming of the Viking menace had brought forth 104.Callahan / Cellachan Chaisil who was to become the outstanding Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil 34th King of Cashel / Munster who would come close personally to ending the Viking intrusions, while uniting Ireland against them, but after his death in 954 AD the Heberian Eoghanachta Kings were to become much weaker, mainly due to the constant attacks and harassment carried out by the Viking raiders using the various waterways in Ireland and pushing on further into the hinterland were the Celtic Irish Septs / Family branches mainly lived. The same turmoil was also then occurring to the previously predominant Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill Septs, both the "northern" and the "southern" who had continued to dominate the Kingship of Ireland for a similar period in time, and from then on the Heberian Eoghanachta Septs were to continue to feel the ongoing Viking pressure, and within only 9 years after 104.Cellachan's death they were to have a quick succession of 4 Heberian Eoghanacht Kings in Munster leading on to the loss of their previous firm hold over the Kingship of Cashel / Munster.
