                                                                                                                                                                Eoghanachta of Munster - 21A

812 AD. This year the Teutonic Scandinavian raids intensified in Ireland as the Danish Vikings invaded the Skellig Michael / Scelig Micil monastery in Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province, which had been named after the Archangel Michael, while another band of Vikings also raided Co. Kerry itself where they were defeated by the Heberian Eoghanachta Locha Lein Sept, and another group also raided the Connacht Province where they were to be trapped and killed by the Irish Septs there, while they also began developing Scandinavian settlements in the northern islands and the Hebrides and this then allowed them to get in closer to Ireland and from this time on larger Viking forces were to make their appearance in Ireland.

815 AD. 100.Olchobar the Rigdamna Muman from the Heberian Eoghanacht Aine Ui Enda Sept who may have been the 20b King of Cashel / Munster, died this year, which ended his particular aristocratic warrior male line to the Kingship of Cashel / Munster through 95.Cuan mac Awley the previous 12th King of Cashel / Munster, his father 94.Awley / Amalgaid the 8b King of Cashel / Munster, 90.Nad Froich the 2nd King of Cashel / Munster one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster and aristocratic warrior ancestor of all of the Chaisil Septs. (The Kingship of Cashell / Munster was to then pass from the Heberian Eoghanacht Aine Ui Enda Septs forever) although their male line through 93.Endae the ancestor of the Eoghanacht Ui Enda Septs and 91.Ailill the ancestor of the Eoghanacht Aine Septs had produced 6 Kings of Cashell / Munster and he was to now be their last.

100.Artri mac Cathail became the new Heberian Eoghanacht Glendamnach 21st King of Cashel / Munster, who was a son of 99.Cathal mac Finguine the previous 19th King of Cashel / Munster descended from 91.Aengus mac Nad Froich the 3rd King of Cashel / Munster, who was a son of 90.Nad Froich the 2nd King of Cashel / Munster, a son of 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster the ancestor of all of the Chaisil Septs,  and he was to be the first to be ordained as a King on Irish soil by the Catholic Church, who were now to replace the poets / filidh who had previously carried out this function.

816 AD. This year the Vikings besieged the monastery at Tuamgraney in Co. Clare / Southern Connacht in the north - west of what is now part of the Munster Province.

817 AD. The remaining monks on the island of Iona could take no more of the Viking attacks and left the holy island for good setting up permanently at Kells / Ceanannus Mor in Co. Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster.

818 AD.*100.Aed Oirdnide the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 164th King of Ireland tried once again to detach Southern Leinster from Mogha's Half to extend the over lordship of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill and Cuanu the Abbot of Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster took the Shrine of St. Mochta its founder into exile to the Munster Province to escape *95.Aed Oirdnide's fury.

819 AD. The Vikings raid the coastal region in Co. Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster in Mogha's Half and set up a trading post there.

820 AD. The Heberian Eoghanacht Kingship of Cashel / Munster was now at a very low ebb with Munster Province now in a precarious position, as it was coming more and more under Viking attacks, and the Heberian Eoghanchta Septs now needed a really strong leader to drive them out, but it was not to be.

821 AD.100.Artri mac Cathail, died this year, who had been the Heberian Eoghanacht Glendamnach 21st King of Cashel / Munster who had been a son of 99.Cathal mac Finguine the previous 19th King of Cashel / Munster descended from 90.Nad Froich the 2nd King of Cashel / Munster, one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall Corc who had been the 1st King of Cashel / Munster and the aristocratic warrior ancestor of all of the Chaisil Septs.

101.Toole / Tuathal became the new Heberian Eoghanacht Glendamnach 21a King of Cashell / Munster, who was a son of 100.Artri mac Cathail the previous 21st King of Cashel / Munster and he was to be the last now also from the Glendamnach Sept's aristocratic warrior male line also extending from 93.Criffan / Crimthann Srem Feimin the earlier 5th King of Cashel / Munster the direct ancestor of the Glendamnach Sept who was descended from 91.Aengus mac Nad Froich the 3rd King of Cashel / Munster, a son of 90.Nad Froich the 2nd King of Cashel / Munster, one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster and the ancestor of all of the Chaisil Septs.

97 / 101.Tnuathgal became the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil 22nd King of Cashel / Munster who was directly descended from 95.Failbe Fland the previous 11th King of Cashel / Munster descended from 91.Aengus mac Nad Froich the 3rd King of Cashel / Munster, a son of 90.Nad Froich the 2nd King of Cashel / Munster, one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster ancestor of all of the Chaisi Septs. There is also some confusion as to his actual direct male line, as he was either a nephew to 97/100.Crundamael who was a son of 100.Donngus, a son of 99.Donngal / Dungalach whose father was 98.Faelgus, a son of 97.Nad Fraich, whose father was 96.Colgu the previous 15th King of Cashell / Munster, a son of 95.Failbhe Fland who had been the 11th King of Cashel / Munster / Or he was a brother to 97/ 100.Crundamael who was a son of 96.Fogartarch, whose father was 95.Failbhe Fland the 11th King of Cashel / Munster.

100.Felim / Feidhlimidh mac Crimthainn became the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil 23rd King of Cashel / Munster who was descended through a separate Chaisil aristocratic warrior male line, that had not previously produced any Munster Kings for 5 generations as his father 99.Criffan / Crimthann, was a son of 98.Dubh da Crich, the son of 97.Colman, one of the 2 sons of 96.Sechnussach, one of the 2 sons of 95.Fingen the previous 9th King of Cashel / Munster through 92. Felim the 4a King of Cashel / Munster, a son of 91.Aengus mac Nad Froich the 3rd King of Cashel / Munster, a son of 90.Nad Froich the 2nd King of Cashel / Munster, one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster ancestor of all of the Chaisil Septs. Unfortunately for the Heberian Eoghanachta Septs and Ireland, 100.Felim mac Crimthann was to have a fairly lengthy rule as opposed to the 3 previous Eoghanacht Munster Kings, as it was to be during a very critical period in Irish History and it was to last until 847 AD, which should have brought some stability. During this time he showed great strength, but he was to basically concentrate on putting more effort into stopping the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill Septs' advances into Mogha's Half in Southern Leinster while trying to restrict them to their original territory in Conn's Half / Leath Cuinn in the north, and this involved him in not doing anything at all against the ongoing Viking incursions. At one stage his overall support was so strong that he was faced with the opportunity of even obtaining the Heberian Kingship of Ireland in his own right as the overlord of Mogha's Half / Leath Mogha (Southern Leinster and Munster Province.) Another of his more important concerns was to be his religious zeal, as he was also on very friendly terms with the reforming religious order known as the Culdees / Celi De (The Clients of God), which also took up much of his personal effort. If he had put the same effort into taking on the Vikings as he did following the efforts of the Celi De then he would have made quite a difference to the ongoing Viking incursions in the future. For 100.Felim mac Crimthainn also became one of the 12 leading members of the Celi De with another 3 in Tallaght in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster, 1 in Co. Westmeath in the south - east of Southern Leinster, 4 in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster and Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province, 2 in Co. Cork in Southern Munster, and 5 in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of Munster and they used to meet at Druim Ednech / Druim Abrat for prayer before arriving at Tallaght the Mother Church of the Celi De reformers.
