O Farry - Irish / Ua Farraigh. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in the north of the Connacht Province. Also used as a synonym for Fairy, which see.

Farshin - fairsing (generous). A variant used by some of the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil Mac Carthys, which see, in Co. Cork in Des Mhumhain / Desmond / Southern Munster.

Farty. Used as an abbreviation for Faherty, which see.

Mac Fatridge. See Mac Fettridge.

 

O Faughnan - Irish / Ua Fachtnain. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht and nearby in Co. Longford in the north - west of Northern Leinster.

 

O Faughney - Irish / Ua Fachtna. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht. May also be the same as the previous entry. Now known as Faulkney and Faulkner.
