Mac Gaynor or Mac Ginver or Mac Ginty or Kinure. Irish / Mag Fhionnbhairr / Fionnbharr (fair headed). Gaelic Milesian Irian Conmaicne Magh Rein Muintir Geradhain Sept / Family branch of the Tellach Finnoigi and Tellach Gabhadhain, who had their territory at Lough Gowna in Co. Longford in the north - west of Northern Leinster. Some Mac Ginvers are now known as Mac Ginty as in Co. Monaghan in Southern Ulster. Used with Mag instead of Mac it became Kinure in Ormond / North Eastern Munster. Especially see Mac Ginver. 

 

Mac Geady - Irish / Mag Geadaigh / Eidigh. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in the north west of Co. Donegal in the north - west of the Ulster Province.

Mac Geaghan or Mac Gegan. Used as variants for Mac Geoghegan, which see.

Mac Geagh - Irish / Mheic Eathach / Mag Eachadha. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Donegal and nearby in Co. Derry in Northern Ulster. See also Mac Gagh and Mac Gahey.

O Geaney - Irish / Ua Geibheannaigh / geibheannach (fettered). A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Cork in Des Mhumhain / Desmond /  / Southern Munster. Used also for Mac Geaney in the Ulster Province.

 

Mac Geaney - Irish / Mheic Geibheannaigh / geibheannach (fettered). A Sept / Family branch, who had their original territory in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province, but were later on in Southern Ulster. See also O Geaney.
