                                                                                                                                                                                    Gaelic Milesians

1699 BC Inis Ealga / Ireland had been under the rule of the 3 sons of Cermna Milbheoil, namely, Ethur mac Cuil, Cethur mac Cecht and Fethur mac Greine and of these 3, Fethur mac Greine who was married to Eriu was the reigning Tuatha De Danann King in Ireland at this time, and on personally coming into contact with the Celtic Gaelic Milesians he immediately called on them to follow the Celtic tradition of chivalry and practise. He requested that they return to their ships and make another landing after 3 days, when the Tuatha De Danann would either fight or surrender, as the Tuatha De Danann would then consider whether they would be ready to oppose them at the shoreline. If this was their eventual decision and if the Gaels succeeded in defeating them, they would hand over control of Ireland, and although the majority of the Gaels were against this, 37.Amergin, as their Ollamh / learned one / law giver, convinced them that this was the Celtic moral thing to do.

Once the Gaelic Milesians were all back on board their long craft and had retired beyond the 9 waves required, a great wild storm came up in the Atlantic Ocean, and in the ensuing turmoil that followed many of their ships under the command of the oldest brother, 37.Eber Donn were wrecked, while the others were driven to the south - west where he and 2  of his other brothers, 37.Ir and 37.Aranan were to be drowned in that region. When the raging storm finally desisted 2 of the three surviving brothers, *37.Eber Fionn and 37.Amergin then landed with what was left of that part of their expedition on the coast of Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province. They then moved inland with their group, until they eventually arrived at the base of the mountain there that is now known as Sliab Mis near Tralee in Co. Kerry on the third day, where they came up against the Tuatha De Danann forces under Queen Eriu herself, and a great battle occurred between them. Although the Tuatha De Danann now had the advantage it was the Gaels who eventually won the day, with the Tuatha De Danann losing over 1,000 of their warriors during the conflict. The Gaels on the other hand also suffered heavy losses, and included among these was Scota the wife of 36.Mil, and her two daughters - in - law, Fas and Mishni Dairideen along with many of their Gaelic warriors. Scota was interred on the north side near the sea in Scotia's Grave / Fert Scota, which is in Glen Scoheen / Gleann Scoithin in the Parish of Annagh. Fas, the wife of 37.Un, was killed in what is now the Valley of Fas / Glen Faisi in Co. Kerry, which was later named after her also, and Mishni Dairideen was buried in the Slieve Mish Mountains, together with the 300 Gaelic aristocratic warriors who were also slain during the battle.

38.Emer, a son of 37.Ir who had been one of the 5 Gaelic Milesian brothers who were shipwrecked and drowned, was to survive to become the eventual direct male ancestor of the Gaelic Milesian Irian Septs / Family branches in the Ulster Province, who were originally to have their Irian kingdom throughout the region there as the Iran Kings of Ulster and the Irian Kings of Tara / Erinn. Later they would also become the Kings of Ulaidh / Ulidia in the territory there that takes in the north - eastern corner in Co. Down and Co. Antrim in the east of Ulster where members of the Mac Guinness Families were to be their more modern descendants.

36.Lewy / Lughaidh the son of 35.Ithe, was to settle his Gaelic followers in Co. Cork in Southern Munster, and he would become the direct male line ancestor of many of the aristocratic warrior Ithian Darinian Families in that area represented mainly in more modern times by the O Driscolls as their leaders,

*37.Eber Fionn - of Fair Complexion pushed on with his remaining Gaelic forces and they continued to fight their way inland towards the north - east of Ireland until they finally reached the mouth of the River Boyne where they came upon his younger brother, *37.Eremon, whose ship had been washed around from the Co. Kerry coast in the south - west of the Munster Province further to the north. He had been able to come ashore near Drogheda / Droiched Atha (The Bridge of the Ford) on the coast above Dublin in Northern Leinster. Another of the brothers, 37.Colpa, who was with *37.Eremon, had also previously been drowned at the mouth of the River Boyne and this region later on became known as Inbhear / Inver Colpa (The Port of Colpa) and the parish in that particular area today is still known as Coelph, a reminder of his initial part in the expedition.

37.Eber Donn - of Brown Complexion the eldest son, had also been drowned on Bull Rock, 37.Ir  had been drowned near there also and had been buried on Skellig Michael off the coast of Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province, as was 37.Arranan who had suffered the same fate and had also been buried there, and Sceine Dubsaine the wife of 37.Amergin was also drowned in the river and Inver Scene was later named for her. Other close kinsmen lost where 36.Mil’s sons - in - law, Enda / Enna who died at the Rock of Enda / Carrig Enna and Lewy / Lughaidh who was married to 37.Fial his daughter who was also interred in Fial’s Grave at the Basilkane Dolmen, which is marked today by the Baisteachan Church in Co. Kerry in the south - west of Munster. Fuad was to be killed later in Co. Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province were Slieve Fuad was named for him, and Cooley / Cuailgne was also killed at what is now the Cooley Mountains / Slieve Cuailgne near Carlingford in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster.

The 3 three surviving Celtic Gaelic Milesian brothers, *37.Eremon, *37.Eber Fionn and 37.Amergin with their remaining forces then sent off a challenge to the 3  joint Tuatha De Danann Kings themselves at Tara in Meath / Midhe in the south - east of Northern Leinster and they all went into their final drawn out battle there at Telltown / Tailten in Co. Meath. During the conflict mac Cecht was slain by *37.Eremon, mac Cuil was slain by *37.Eber Fionn and mac Greine was slain by 37.Amergin, and their 3 De Danann Queens were also killed during the conflict (Celtic women not only went into battle but also led the armies.) The whole of the Tuatha De Danann forces were to be thoroughly defeated by the Gaels, and *37.Eber Fionn and *37.Eremon then divided up the territory of Eriu / Inis Ealga between them, as 37.Amergin, as a Druid, was not eligible under Celtic Law. The remaining Fir Bolg Celts were probably relieved at this time to see their previous over - lords removed, but they would naturally still have resentment, as they then became subject to the Celtic Gaels whenever it took their fancy, and with expansion always occurring in any growing society, due to the population increasing, they were to be eventually absorbed into the aristocratic Gaelic Families. *37,Eber Fionn and *37.Eremon became the joint Gaelic Milesian 1st Kings of Tara / Erin and each had one lion on their shield with the third lion of 36.Mil being on the shield of 38,Heber Donn the son of 37.Ir. in remembrance of their father and grandfather, 36.Mil / Gallamh the Celtic Hero of Spain and his previous famous exploits, although they had different colours, which were continued on into the future.
