Mac Kilcawley - Irish / Mheic Giolla Chalbaigh - calbhach (bald). A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Sligo and nearby in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province. Mac Kilcowley was also used as a variant.

Mac Kilchrist. Used as a variant for Mac Gilchrist, which see.

Mac Kilcline - Irish / Mac Giolla Chlaoin / claon (deceitful). A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province. Now also abbreviated to Mac Cline. Clyne also used as a synonym.

Mac Kilcommon or Mac Kilcommons - Irish / Mac Giolla Chomain. (Descended from a devotee of St. Coman) A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory near Athlone in  the east of Co. Galway in Southern Connacht.

Mac Kilcooley - Irish / Mheic Giolla Chuille (Descended from a devotee of St. Mochuille) A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Clare in the north - west of Thomond / Tuaisceart Mhumhain / Northern Munster and nearby in the east of Co. Galway in Southern Connacht. Sometimes also shortened to Mac Cooley.

Mac Kilduff or Gilduff - Irish / Mheic Giolla Dubh. A Sept / Family branch who were the Chiefs of Gairbheith who had their territory in the Barony of Tullygarvey in Co. Cavan in the kingdom of East Breifne in Southern Ulster.

Mac Kilgallen - Irish / Mheic Giolla Chaillin (Descended from a devotee of St. Cailin) A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Mayo in the mid - west of the Connacht Province. Changed to Mac Kilcullen nearby in Co. Sligo in the north - west of Connacht.

Mac Kilgannon - Irish / Mheic Giolla Ghannain. Unknown origins as yet. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province.

Mac Kilgar or Mac Killegar - Irish / Mheic Giolla Gheairr / gear (short). May be a synonym of Mac Kilgore ?
