O Muckian or O Muckeen - Irish / Ua Mochaidhean. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory at Cremorne in Co. Monaghan in Southern Ulster. Some also changed to Mac Kean, which see.
Muckle. They were in Co. Down in the south - east of the Ulster Province. May be a contracted form of Mucklebreed, which see, or a variant of Mackle, which see.

O Muckley or O Mulclahy or O Mulclohy or O Mulcahy or Stone - Irish / Ua Maolchluiche / cluiche (game). A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory at Inishmulclahy in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province. Now in the Munster Province and known as O Mulcahy. Also to Stone / cloch / cloiche.
Mugan or Muggane or Moghan. They were in the Connacht Province. Moghan was used as a variant. They may be synonymous with Moughan, or it may also be a distinct name such as Ua Moghain. Especially see Moghan.
