Gailenga Connacht. The Luigni and Gailenga Septs were originally two Tuatha De Danann Tuaths / Family regions who were closely linked in Sreng's Fifth (Connacht Province) as they were in the Midlands / Midhe / Meath / Northern Leinster in the south of the Ox Mountains where they formed the last block between the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach Sept and the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Septs who eventually became their Dal Cuinn over kingdom dominating the smaller Tuaths. These were fertile regions around the Moy Estuary, in parts of Co. Sligo in the north - west, to the south between Galway Bay and the River Shannon and also in the east of Co. Roscommon. Gailenga Midhe / Meath. A Sept / Family branch, who had their territory in the south - east of Northern Leinster near the east coast below the Saithne Sept and above the Gailenga Sept that had their territory north of the River Liffey.

Gailenga - Ulster. A Sept whose territory was in what is now Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster.

Gamanrad. A Sept / Family branch who had their territory at Glenamoy in Co. Mayo in the mid - west of the Connacht Province with the Irrus Domnnan Septs below them, and the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach nAmalgado Sept to the east of them.

Gangani / Siol Gangain (Seed of Gangan) A Sept / Family branch who had their territory in Co. Clare and Co. Limerick in the north - west of the Munster Province and also nearby in the north to the south of Co. Galway in the south - west of the Connacht Province who were descended from the Concani of Spain, who were also in the north of Wales.

Glasraige. A pre - Celtic Sept who had their territory at Ballymachugh in what is now Co. Celtic Septs / Family branches - who originally arrived into Ireland around 300 BC from the north - west of Gaul / Normandy and first settled in the territory in what is now the Leinster Province and then expanded to the west into the Connacht Province forcing the Fir Bolg Septs further out to the remoter regions.
