Leitrim at Carrick on Shannon centered on the Barony of Mohill and also included parts of the Barony of Leitrim and Carrigallen and a part of the north of Co. Longford in the north - west of the Leinster Province and they were to become vassal Septs during the 8^th Century AD to the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne O Rourkes and O Reillys in their particular kingdom there of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne in Co.
