1151 - 1160 AD 

1151 AD The grandson of Donogh / Donnchad, the grandson of Gilla Phadraig, the Heremonian Ui Laogharie Ui Connla King of Half Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster was this year taken prisoner by guile and deceit by the infamous 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall - of the Foreigners the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 59th King of Leinster who was continuing to push his personal agenda and would be the one who would bring the Anglo Norman English into Ireland.

      Cardinal John Paparo also arrived this year who had been recently appointed to be the new Papal Legate to Ireland.

      *114.Turlogh Mor O Connor the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray Ui Conchobair 181st King of Ireland divided the Munster Province up again, to try and further weaken the Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain O Brians in their kingdom of Northern Munster / Thomond who he was well aware were just waiting for the right opportunity to gain back the overall Kingship of Ireland.

     110.Murtogh / Muirchertach O Brian, the previous Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain King of Northern Munster / Thomond (Ri Tuadh Muman), died this year, who had been a son of 109.Conor na Catharach O Brian the previous King of Northern Munster / Thomond, who had died in 1142 AD, the son of 108.Diarmait O Brian the previous 45th King of Cashel / Munster who had died in 1118 AD descended from 106.Teague the oldest surviving son of *105,Brian Boru who had been the 175th High King of Ireland and ancestor of all of the Ui mBriain Septs.

    The grandson of Eochy O Lynch the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid King of Owney Tir in Co. Limerick in the south - west of the Munster Province, died this year.

    Flaherty O Dea the Heberian Dal gCais Chief of Dysert O Dea in the west of Co. Clare was killed at the Battle of Moin Mor.

1152 AD Donnell O Fogarty was created the Vicar - General and Catholic Bishop of Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster, while Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster now became the seat also of an Archbishop.

     Cardinal Paparo the Papal Legate summoned the last great reforming religious Synod at Kells / Ceanannus Mor in Co. Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster, which had previously been run by Celsus and St. Malachy, and they decided to bring to an end the role of country Bishops / Chorepiscopi (local supervisors), which had existed since 343 AD under St. Patrick. (Another was also to be held later on at Mellifont in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster). It was decided that Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province, and Cashel in the north - east of Co. Tipperary in the Munster Province, would be Sees, along with Tuam in the south of the Connacht Province and Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster. Tuam had been created because *114.Turlogh Mor O Connor was now the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 181st King of Ireland, and this meant altering the dioceses to suite, Armagh in Co. Armagh was allotted 11, Dublin 5, Cashel 12, Tuam 6 including the diocese of Raith Luraig. St. Jarlath had previously founded a monastery there at Tuam, and O Hoisin the Abbot was appointed the Catholic Archbishop of Tuam, where the present Archbishop now also resides, as one of the 4 Catholic Archbishops of Ireland. The Rock of Cashel became the Catholic Archbishop of Munster's seat and soon after a Cathedral. The Ardmore Cathedral in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of Munster was also constructed in which Declan Power was to be interred later on. (The Irish monks refused to conform).

     *114.Turlogh Mor O Connor the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 181st King of Ireland whose personsl territory was in the Connacht Province and *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin / Lochlainn the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 55 / 57th King of Aileach whose territory was in Tir Eogan / Tyrone in the north in the Ulster Province came to a mutual agreement to suite their own individual aspirations when they a agreed to divide up the Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill kingdom in Meath / Midhe in the south of Northern Leinster between them, to try and stifle any further ambitions the Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain might have to regain their right to the Kingship of Ireland.

     Meanwhile, the infamous 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall - of the Foreigners the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig King also had similar intentions of his own, and to this end he was to kill Don O Melaghlin / Ua Mael Sechlainn the Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain King of Meath who was connected to the O Connors in the Connacht Province and because of this foul deed he then advised one and all that he was personally to make a pilgrimage over to Loch Derg in Co. Galway in the south of the Connacht Province in atonement, but on the way he somehow managed to call in at Breifne Castle on the River Bonnet at Dromahair in Co. Leitrim in the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne kingdom of West Breifne in the north of the Connacht Province. This was the fortress of the "aged" 113.Tiernan O Rourke the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of West Breifne, who was away at the time, but who was married to Dervorgilla, a 44 year old sister to Don O Melaghlin the recently deceased Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain King of Meath. (The Clann Cholmain Sept had previously been the Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill High Kings of Ireland). He kidnapped Dervorghilla taking her all the way back down to his home territory at Ferns in Co. Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster, although he had his fortress on the Rock of Dunamase / Dun Masg the 200' high fortress previously of Masg who had been the ancient Leinster Chief in Co. Laois in the mid - north - west of Southern Leinster. Due to the continuing prevailing disruptions to the tenets of the Irish Brehon Law it was now the law of the "survival of the fittest" with the Anglo - Norman Invasion under 113.Diarmait Mac Murrough na Gall still yet to come, and this all led onto further inter - Sept conflicts and shifting alliances, as the struggle for overall authority in Ireland was now open to all the major Gaelic Milesian Septs who continued to have the ongoing commitment to individually succeed and improve their situation in the scheme of things.

    Donatus O Longergan from the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlogh Sept was appointed to the See of Cashel in Co. Tipperary in the north east of the Munster Province.    

1153 AD *114.Turlogh O Connor the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 181st King of Ireland divided the Munster Province again, to continue to lessen the overall authority there of the Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain O Brians in their kingdom of  Northern Munster / Thomond and to stifle any further chance for their ambitions also of regaining the overall Kingship of Ireland.

      Dervorgilla O Rourke nee O Melaghlin, who had been previously abducted by the ambitious 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall the infamous Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 59th King of Leinster, was this year restored to the "aged" 113.Tiernan / Tigernan O Rourke, but there was now untold bad blood and psychological damage to 113.Tiernan O Rourke's pride and dignity and in his mind it was totally unforgiveable, and in the future 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall's previous actions in this regard would have major repercussions not only for him, but also for the whole of Ireland.

   Donnell O Casey the Heberian Cianacht King of Saithne in Co. Meath in Northern Leinster was killed this year. 

1153 - 1162 AD St. Laurence O Toole / Lorcan Ua Tuathail from the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Ui Muireadhaigh Sept was during this period the highly respected Abbot at Holy Saviour Church at Glendalough in Co. Wicklow in the south - east of Southern Leinster, who would eventually become the first Irish Catholic Bishop of Dublin in Co. Dublin just in time for the coming Anglo - Norman English Invasion.

1154 AD Nicholas Breakspeare, an Englishman, who had been taught by an Irish professor in Paris became Pope Adrian IV, the only Englishman ever to become Pope, and in the future although he would refuse to give Henry 11 the Norman Angevin English King permission to invade Ireland on his behalf, it would eventually occur based on a fraudulent Papal Bull, so that he could also lay claim to Ireland after receiving inside information from the infamous 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall - of the Foreigners.

        The Mac Gilla Patraic (Fitz Patrick) Heremonian Ui Connla kingdom of Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster was once again able to defeat the ambitious and infamous 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 59th King of Leinster in a battle over sovereignty, but as usual many of the warriors from the Southern Leinster Septs were killed.

        *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin / Lochlainn the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 55th / 57th King of Aileach in the Ulster Province was by now even more then ever determined to become the future King of Ireland in his own right also, and towards this end, this year, he presented 1500 head of cattle to those who were set up in Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster, as a retainer / tuarustul, for them to accept only his overall authority there in the future.

       *109.Turlogh O Brian the Heberian Dalcassian 46th King of Cashel / Munster was now to be deposed and restored from his position many times, and his previous wayward younger brother, 109.Teague Glae O Brian, who had since been blinded to ensure he would not offend again, was to also die this year, which was to see the end of any chance of his particular male line in the future gaining either Kingship.

      *114.Turlogh O Connor the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 181st King of Ireland and the advancing *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin / Lochlainn the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 55th / 57th King of Aileach in the Ulster Province from now on were to have many personal disputes over who was now to be the overall Dal Cuinn King of Ireland.     

1155 AD Murray O Heeney / O Heaney / Muireadhach O hEighnigh whose Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Sept were the Catholic Erenaghs of Banagher, founded a church in Co. Derry in the north - east of the Ulster Province.

     A High Celtic Cross was erected on the Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province.

    Niall Mac Gettigan / Mag hEiteagain from the Dal Cuinn " northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept was the Catholic Bishop of Lismore in Co. Waterford in the south - east of the Munster Province.

    The Cistercians Order of monks were now to arrive into Jerpoint also in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster up until 1160 AD.

1156 AD Henry 11 the Teutonic Norman King of England obtained a forged Papal Bull, which was to allow him in the future to convince Lawrence / Lorcan O Toole who would be the first Irish Catholic Bishop of Dublin at that time to also claim sovereignty over Ireland, and this would then give him an opportunity to easily invade Ireland on the pretext of bringing "peace" and to also bring the Celtic Catholic Church in Ireland more into line with the Catholic Church in Rome.

       *114.Turlogh O Connor, the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai / Sil Murray Siol Muireadhaigh 181st King of Ireland, died this year, and his son; *115.Rory / Ruaidri O Connor became the new  Dal Cuinn Ui Conchobair 56th King of Connacht who was now more then ever, also anxious for a crack at the overall Kingship of Ireland himself.

     *111. Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin / Lochlainn the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 55th / 57th King of Aileach in the Ulster Province was to become the new 182nd King of Ireland - with opposition until 1166 AD and to show his new overall authority in the south also, in Mogha's Half, he besieged the Mac Mac Giolla Phadraig Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla kingdom of Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster. (It had previously not been under his control, and he also burnt the 100' Round Tower there at Fertagh). He could trace his ancestry back 21 generations to 91.Eogan the 1st Cenel nEogain King of Aileach,  one of the sons of *90.Niall - of the Nine Hostages the 126th King of Tara / Ireland the direct male line ancestor of all the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill Septs, and then another 53 generations to *37.Eremon (Heremonians) the son of 36.Mil (Milesians), then another 35 generations to 1.Adam.  (This year he assisted in founding the Cistercian Abbey on the River Boyne at Bective in Co. Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster).  

1157 AD *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin the new Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 182nd King of Ireland endeavouring to further strengthen his overall authority over his kinsmen, the Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Septs, divided their kingdom of Meath / Midhe in Northern Leinster once again to reduce any further chance of them having thoughts of regaining the overall Kingship of Ireland. From now on *115.Rory O Connor the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 56th King of Connacht was to be his main challenger, who was allied with his Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne kinsman, the "aged" 113.Tiernan O Rourke the King of West Breifne who had his territory and kingdom in Co. Leitrim in Northern Connacht.

      *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 182nd King of Ireland, this year also founded a Cistercian Abbey at Newry / An tLur in Co. Down in the south - east of the Ulster Province, although it was not in his territory and in the future in the 16th Century AD during the confiscations and dissolution of all things Catholic and Irish by Henry V111 it was to be taken over along with the territory there, and later granted as personal property to Nicholas Bagenal).

     The infamous 113.Diamait mac Murrogh na Gall - of the Foreigners the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 59th King of Leinster who had similar ambitions towards the overall Kingship of Ireland, this year confirmed a grant of 14 town lands made by O Ryan / Ua Riain the King of Idrone, who was a Cu Corb Chieftain, and he also founded the Augustine Canon Regulars at Ferns in Southern Leinster. 

     *115.Rory O Connor the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 56th King of Connacht and his Ui Briuin Breifne ally and kinsman, 113.Tiernan O Rourke the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of West Breifne were defeated when they went into battle against *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin who was now the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 182nd King of Ireland.

     Another Catholic Synod was held at Mellifont Abbey in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster by 17 Catholic Bishops under the auspices of *111.Murtough Mor Mac Loughlin the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill 182nd King of Ireland. 

     Dervorgilla O Rourke who had been previously carried off by the ambitious and soon to be infamous 113.Dermott Mac Murrough na Gall - of the Foreigners who was now the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 59th King of Leinster for his own purposes, also returned this year to Dromahair in Co. Leitrim for the consecration of the first Cistercian Abbey there at Mellifont.

    Connor O Hara the Heberian Cianacht Prince / Tanaiste of Leyney in Co. Sligo in the Connacht Province and Teague mac Murtogh O Hara were slain and Donough O Hara succeeded to the position.           

1158 AD The Catholic Synod of Bri Mac Taidg saw the Raith Luraig diocese taken into the new combined Bishopric of Derry & Connor, which was confined to the Gaelic Milesian Irian Dal nAraidi Sept's territory there and the Heremonian Ui Conaire Dal Riada territory in the north - east of the Ulster Province. Co. Derry was actually in the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain territory and Raphoe was in the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill territory there in the north, while Armagh situated in the south - east of Ulster was to retain the northern limits previously allowed in the 8^th Century AD. Clogher took in the kingdom of the Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Chremthainn Sept and it's dependencies, which was now taken over by a Sept of the Cenel nEogain Cenel Fearadhaigh near the Co. Fermanagh border in the south - west of Ulster. (Donogh O Carroll / Donnchad Ua Cerbaill the Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of Orghialla / Airghialla / Oriel had previously persuaded St. Malachy (whose brother, Christian was the Catholic Bishop of Clogher) to transfer the See to Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster were his power lay at that time.

     Jerpoint Abbey in Co. Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster was founded this year by Donnell Mac Giolla Phadraig (Fitz Patrick), the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory for the Cistercian Order of monks with *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin in attendance as the 182nd King of Ireland and the ruined buildings are still there to be seen as in the 16th Century AD it too was to be confiscated during the dissolution of all things Catholic and Irish under Henry V111, and was to be later granted after his demise, to Butler the English Marquis of Ormonde along with 6,500 acres of the surrounding Ossory Septs territory, by Edward V1, his young son from Jane Seymour,

      *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 182nd King of Ireland was to once again defeat *115.Rory O Connor the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 56th King of Connacht and make him submit and give over hostages, along with all of the other important Irish Kings, thereby re - asserting his overall Kingship of Ireland while the equally ambitious and infamous, 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall - of the Foreigners the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 59th King of Leinster was now to be his ally and would remain so until they were both to come undone in 1166 AD.

      *115.Rory O Conor the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 56th King of Connacht endeavouring to continue to spread his own regional authority also, besieged the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla kingdom of Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster as far as Leithghlinn and also gained hostages from them and the Gaelic Milesian Irian Ui Laigis Sept there who were a vassal Sept now under the control of the infamous 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 59th King of Leinster who was also now the ally of *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin the 182nd King of Ireland.

      Auliffe / Amlaib Mor O Donoghue / Amlaib Ua Donnchadha the Heberian Eoghanacht Chieftain built a church this year at Aghadoe in Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province.

     Maoilmuire O Lynch the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Catholic Bishop of Lismore in Co. Waterford in the east of the Munster Province, died this year.

     Donatus O Longergan from the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlogh Sept who was in charge of the See of Cashel in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province, died this year.     

1159 AD Giolla Kevin O Kennedy  the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlogh King of North - East Munster / Ormond in Co. Tipperary, died this year, while on a pilgrimage at Killaloe in Co. Clare in North - West Munster.

    Two of the Chiefs from the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlogh O Kennedy Sept were killed in the Battle of Ardee with one being a son of Giolla Ciaran O Kennedy the overall Chief of  North - Eastern Munster / Ormond .   

1160 AD The O Nialls from the Dal Cuinn Cenel nEogain kingdom of Telach Og in the north of the Ulster Province, inflicted a defeat in the Battle of Magh Lughad upon their kinsmen the Cenel nEogain O Gormleys / Ui Gailmredhaigh, along with Donnell / Domhnall Ua Crichain and the Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach warriors from the Connacht Province, in which many warriors were killed and 113.Murtogh Magh Line / Lughad O Niall who was now the Cenel nEogain King of Telach Og was slain unjustly by Lochlann O Loughlin / Ua Lochlainn, and he had been a son of 112.Teage / Tadhg an Glinne / Gleann O Niall, and more importantly he was to be the father of 114.Aed an Macaomh Toinleasc - the Lazy Limbed Youth O Niall who later on would revive the aristocratic warrior male line of the Cenel nEogain O Nialls. 

       *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin the Dal Cuinn 182nd King of Ireland with his Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain aristocratic warriors, along with the Dal Cuinn 3 Colla aristocratic warriors from the kingdom of Orghialla / Oriel, intended to expel the O Gormley / Ua Gailmredhaigh altogether from his territory in the Ulster Province and when they came to Magh Dula, O Gormley was treacherously killed by Donnell Mulrooney / Domhnall O Mael Ruanaigh at the behest of *111.Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin, who by doing so had dishonoured his previous oath not to harm him. This particular foul act was to bring about great repercussions not only for *111. Murtogh Mor Mac Loughlin, but also his ally the infamous, 113.Diarmait Mac Murrogh na Gall - of the Foreigners, but even more importantly it was to be disastrous for the future of Gaelic Ireland and the Irish people themselves.

    Giolla Ciaran O Kennedy was now the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlogh King of North - East Munster / Ormond  in Co. Tipperary.
