Kilkenny / Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster to introduce the Statutes of Kilkenny into Ireland now composed of the loyal English Galls from the Dublin area, the supposedly English / Anglo - Irish rebels and the Irish enemy. He informed them that there was to be no distinction between the English born in Ireland / Anglo - Irish and the English born in England / New English and that no abusive names were to be used, all with the intention of preserving their total Englishness and retain their perceived superiority over the "Mere Irish" in Ireland distinct of any Gaelic Irishness. He also informed the Parliament that Irish revenues will become profitable, once again, if this policy was kept up. and he introduced the "35 Statutes of Kilkenny" to wipe out the English degenerates (genuine Anglo - Irish) and England's Gaelic Irish "enemies" as it was directed at the degenerate English, the loyal English, the Anglo - Irish and the Gaelic Irish enemy and their Gaelic Irish customs, their Gaelic Irish language, their Gaelic Irish dress, their Gaelic Irish games, their Gaelic Irish manners of riding, their Gaelic Irish working of the land and their Gaelic Irish fosterage. Intermarriage with the Gaelic Irish was now punishable by death, while any Gaelic Irish ways and the Irish Brehon Law were banned, and the Irish clergy were excluded to them also. (Anyone of Gaelic Irish blood was forbidden to live within any walled town in Ireland). then began further ethnic cleansing by continuing to
kill as many members of the
Gaelic Irish Septs
as possible to try and extend their hold out further beyond the
English
Pale, who
never the less resisted and fought back against their
encroachment into their individual territories.
During the ongoing conflicts over this dreadful ethnic policy, Lionel the Duke of Clarence
had been called
back to England to also marry the niece of the wealthy Visconti of Milan
and this was to create a break between the appointment of the next English Military Governor to
Ireland, which allowed the
Gaelic Irish Septs some breathing space to try and regain a foothold

The Gaelic Irish Septs then sacked the English Galls in Limerick City, who submitted, and he left Sheeda Og - the Younger Mac Namara, their Lord Marshall, in charge there, (who was a son of Loghlen Laidir - the Strong Mac Namara and a daughter of O Dwyer). (Sheeda Mac Namara was then murdered by the English who had remained behind there).
The English Land Lords were now beginning to abandon their confiscated Irish Estates and were even selling their holdings back to the Irish themselves, due to the English Government prohibiting the passage of men, horses and provisions from Ireland, which was not only a private form of taxation, but they were also trying to physically force their commitment to the English cause in Ireland and as a result the greater Absentee Land Lords of England, France and Wales sold or abandoned their Irish Estates.
