RAINBOW FARMS    AUSTRALIA

                                                                                                                                                      1571 - 1576 AD

1571 AD Sir John Perrot, the newly English appointed Lord Deputy in Ireland for Elizabeth 1st the Welsh Tudor Queen of England attacked the Irish Families near Kilmallock in Co. Limerick in the north - west of the Munster Province, and they fled across the bog to escape his merciless fury, but after discarding his heavy gear he was to eventually catch up with them and was able to kill 50 of the fleeing Irish and then cut off all of their heads and took them back and put them in the marketplace for all of the population there to see. (Because of the way they fled during their attempt to escape his brutality they then became known to the English authorities in the Dublin Castle as "Bog Trotters.") This year, Elizabeth 1st also decreed that all Irish manners and Irish customs were prohibited under English Law, and should any Irish man not follow the occupation of their father they were to be imprisoned for 12 months and fined, while any one utilising the Irish Brehon Law were to also be imprisoned for 12 months and their goods and chattels forfeited and the wearing of Irish clothes and the Gaelic hairstyle, known as the glib, was to be punished with a 100 pound fine, which now meant that for just being Irish you were either a "rebel or an outlaw."

Previously Conor O Brien who had been appointed the English third Earl of Thomond, revolted against the personal indignity of the Assizes being held against the Irish Dal gCais Septs in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province by Sir Edward Fitton the English appointed President in the Connacht Province, which Co. Clare was previously geographically and he had then been forced to flee the scene in fear of his life, but this year, he was to be reinstated to his former English "official" position after he had personally gone over to England to see Elizabeth 1st,  and when Sir Edward Fitton was to come down once again a year later into Co. Clare, his whole attitude to English domination was quite different from before.

Myler / Mael Muire Magrath, now also became the notorious Church of England / Ireland Archbishop of Cashel in Co. Tipperary in the north - east  of the Munster Province, where he added further to his accumulating wealth, as he now held 4 positions as an Episcopalian Bishop at the one time, and was also receiving the imposed Tithes to the Church of England / Ireland from 77 livings.

Teige Mac Namara Fionn - of Fair Complexion the son of Cuvea Mac Namara the son of Cumara Mac Mac Namara the son of John Mac Namara, died this year, and his son John Oge - the Younger Mac Namara took up his previous position in the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Caisin Clan Cuilean in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province.

1572 AD Elizabeth 1st the Welsh Tudor Queen of England now also laid claim to the English Mortimers and also their Estates, and called herself the Countess of Ulster, and had Sir Thomas Smith colonize the Ards Peninsula and all the territory there in the north - east of the Ulster Province from Coleraine down to Belfast, which she wanted to share with her favourite, Sir Walter Devereux / Dearbhrus / de Evreux the English first Earl of Essex, but Sir Henry Sidney, her appointed Lord Deputy in Ireland, did not agree with her decision, and besides this Sir Walter Devereux was also not welcome at all in Ulster where he would carry out terrible atrocities on the Irish population there. He was to come up against the Dal Cuinn Colla Uais Mac Donnells / Mac Donalds and the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain O Nialls of Clannaboye there, and eventually had to give up any chance of taking over any of the territory in that region so she eventually granted him the Barony of Farney further down in Co. Monaghan in Southern Ulster instead, where he was to build a castle against the Irish Septs there at Carrickmacross / Carraig Mhachaire Rois (The Rock of the Plain of Ross.)

This year, the town of Ballymore Eustace, which was an old English Pale town held by the Fitz Eustace Anglo - Norman Barons on the Liffey River in Co. Kildare was burnt down by the Irish Septs in Southern Leinster.

1573 AD Sir Walter Devereux the English first Earl of Essex, who was Elizabeth 1st's favourite, whom she had appointed the English Earl Marshall in Ireland followed her instructions to the letter using her "Scorched Earth Policy" of "Slash and Burn" with terrible treachery and slaughter on the Irish Families in the Ulster Province.

The Irish Brehon Law and Irish Tanistry / heir apparent was now seemingly lost to all of the Gaelic Irish Septs, and in the Heberian Dal gCais kingdom of  Thomond / Northern Munster a state of constant internal turmoil had developed between the leading Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlogh Ui mBriain O Brian Septs, over who now had the real authority there, as they scrambled to see who was the actual Irish Chieftain left among them and many from the Dal gCais Families were now forced once again into conflict with their fellow Dalcassians in Co. Clare, hoping to decide the issue, which only further suited the English purpose of domination.

1574 AD Elizabeth 1st the Welsh Tudor Queen of England now also tried to force the English shire system on the Ulster Province, and to this end English Sheriffs were appointed and the Irish Families and Anglo - Irish / Old English there were once again put under further terrible pressure to resist the continuing takeover of their individual territories there as Sir Walter Devereux the English first Earl of Essex who was now Elizabeth 1st's appointed Earl Marshall in Ireland constructed a fort this year at Blackwaterton in Co. Armagh in the south - east of Ulster in opposition to 126.Aed Dubh / Black Hugh O Niall's fort at Dungannon.126.Aed Dubh / Black Hugh O Niall, the son of 125.Ferdoragh O Niall, had by now generally become the recognized Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Gaelic leader in Ulster, and all of the "northern" Irish Chiefs west of Loch Neagh now combined their efforts to resist the English Military forces take over their lives and property there. The only Passes that actually led into Ulster were through the Ulster Gap of the North that was situated in the north - east beyond Dundalk, and also the fords of the River Erne at Enniskillen and Ballyshannon in Co. Fermanagh in the south - west of Ulster. Aed / Hugh Mac Guire "The Maguire" the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of Fermanagh at this time was also able to defeat the English Military forces at the Ford of Biscuits there near Enniskillen.

1575 AD Sir Walter Devereux, the English first Earl of Essex, had attacked Sorley Boy / Buidhe - of the Yellow Hair Mac Donnell the Catholic Earl of Antrim who had his Colla Mac Uais kingdom and territory there in the Glens of Antrim in Co. Antrim in the Ulster Province, and because of this onslaught he had sent all of the women and children and his valuables for safe keeping, over onto Rathlin Island, off the coast of Co. Antrim, but Sir Walter Devereux had then sent 3 English frigates there, with one under the command of Sir Francis Drake, who at first killed all of the 200 people who came out of the castle there and then began routinely hunting down and killing the rest of the general population there who were still surviving on the island. (Between 300 to 400 innocent people were to be innocently slaughtered, including many who were hiding out in the caves and on the cliffs by the sea and he continued this slaughter until all persons on the island were killed and there were no living survivors). Once again Elizabeth 1st's response to these terrible atrocities and the great loss of innocent human life was to express her gratitude to Sir Henry Sidney, her appointed Lord Deputy in Ireland, for a job well done, and although Sir Walter Devereux was recalled after this terrible massacre of innocent victims, he too was later reinstated, but he would receive his just reward for this iniquitous deed when he was to be later poisoned in Dublin. (His son would eventually also be sent to Ireland to subdue 126. Aed Dubh / Black Hugh O Niall who by that period in time was to be fully aware of his Gaelic heritage and make a stand against the never - ending carnage that was Elizabeth 1st.) During the terrible massacre of all those innocent human lives on Rathlin Island Sorley Boy Mac Donnell had been frantic and tormented by it all, as he had to stand by in Co. Antrim on the mainland and view the horrific scene from the coastline there, where he could not do any physical thing to stop the carnage.) All of this further widespread "Slash and Burn / Scorched Earth" oppression of Elizabeth 1st would only lead on to further rebellions breaking out in Ireland against her continuing demented mental attitude to Irish human life. Among those taken in Ulster were also Brian mac Phelim O Niall of Clannaboye / Clan na Bhuidhe and his wife, together with many others from there who were all imprisoned in Dublin Castle (The Devil's 1/2 acre) until they were all executed. (Ulster was then made into English Shire Land with Elizabeth 1s's illegitimate half - brother and English Lord Deputy Sir John Perrot turning the kingdom and territory of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill of Tir Conaill / Tyrconnell / The Land of 91.Conall Gulban) into Co. Donegal.

Seeing no other alternative against the endless ethnic and religious oppression of Elizabeth1st the Welsh Tudor English Queen in Ireland, Sir James Fitzmaurice Fitz Gerald in the Munster Province went to France to arrange for French support to try and stop the endless slaughter carried out by her minions, and while he was away the English authorities in the Dublin Castle appointed his cousin Gerald Fitz Gerald the Earl of Desmond to govern Munster for them, but despite this he too soon found himself at the head of this particular Irish rebellion instead, where he was to be defeated by the English Military forces with their superior weapons, who then also turned on the Connacht Province. (Elizabeth 1st this year also granted the Leix Abbey in Co. Laois in the mid - west of Southern Leinster to Thomas Butler who was now the English 10th Earl of Ormonde in Southern Leinster).

Grace O Malley / Grannia Ua Maille, the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ui Maille Pirate Queen who had her kingdom and territory off of the coast of Co. Mayo in the Connacht Province went to England this year, where she met with Elizabeth 1st the Welsh Tudor Queen of England and had the affront to treat her as her equal, and told her straight to her face that she did nothing physical herself to accomplish any of her terrible edicts in Ireland. On her way back to Connacht she called in at Howth Castle, which was situated on the coast in Dublin in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster, were the gates were closed, so in retribution she abducted the young English Lord of Howth and took him with her to her fort at Carrigahooly Castle on Clare Island near Newport in Co. Mayo in the mid - west of Connacht. (She only returned him when they agreed to keep their gates open at dinner time).

Eugene O Hart from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Sept who was the Catholic Bishop of Achrony in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province was also given responsibility for Tuam there by Pope Gregory X111.

1576 AD Sir Henry Sidney, the English Lord Deputy in Ireland, abolished the ancient Irish Celtic customs in the Munster Province, and made Donnell O Brien, who was previously the nominated Dalcassian Prince / Tanaiste of Thomond / Northern Munster, who now resided at Ennistymon in the north - west of Co. Clare, the English Governor of Co. Clare and he proved to be a real survivor as he began to hang his own Dalcassian people who were now Irish "rebels" for resisting the English take over of their lands, and he also had the English now separate Co. Clare "officially" from the Connacht Province under English Law, and joined into Munster Province. To further try and bring to an end any further chance of Irish uprisings by the Dalcassians against the ongoing English confiscations and ethnic and religious oppression, Sir William Dury who was the recent English appointed President of Munster, hung several of the more prominent Heberian Ui Bloid Ui Turlogh Ui mBriain O Brians. He also held another English Assizes for 8 days, where he compelled the inhabitants of Munster to pay 10 pounds for each English Barony in Ireland to Elizabeth 1st who then conveyed all of the Catholic Church lands in Co. Clare and their livings, to her new found friend and ally, Sir Donnell O Brien after he personally journeyed to see her in England.

This year, the Anglo - Irish / Old English Fitz Geralds / Geraldines and Thomas Butler the English Royalist 10th Earl of Ormonde came into personal conflict and a battle occurred between them at Affane in Co. Waterford in the south - east of the Munster Province.

Of the 205 Irish Catholic parishes in the O Melaghlins Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain's previous kingdom of Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster, the English Episcopalian Ascendancy had taken over 105, but not one of them had a resident clergyman.

Grace O Malley, the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ui Maille Pirate Queen also held Kildownet Castle on Achill Island in Co. Mayo in the mid - west of the Connacht Province, and this year she was to go to Galway City to see the English Governor of Connacht there and offer her services to him, together with 3 Galleys and 200 men, and as a consequence she now also began to harass other Irish Septs.

Hugh Dowdell, the Episcopalian Archbishop of Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province, advocated the expulsion of all of the Scottish settlers in the north - eas of the Ulster Provence, who had been previously brought in there by the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Cuinn Colla Uais Mac Donnells / Mac Donalds the Catholic Earls of Antrim who had their kingom and territory in the north - east of Co. Antrim.

Kilcolman Abbey in Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster  Province, was suppressed this year by English Militia and it was then given over to Captain Spring, who was newly arrived from England and the Poulnaraha Priory in Co. Kerry, that had been founded by Geoffrey de Marisco, the Anglo - Norman Baron in 1215 AD, on the original site of the Celtic monastery of Killagla / Cill Acaro (The Church of the Field) was also suppressed, and the territory there was also given over to Captain Spring, with "no Irish allowed to buy or rent." (Later on in the middle of the 17th Century AD it was to be taken over by Oliver Cromwell the English Protector, during his particular "bloody" Invasion, and given to the Godfreys who are still there today).
