461 AD. St. Patrick, died this year, and during his lifetime he had spread Christianity throughout Ireland rapidly, but there were still to be individual independent Irish Kings who still refused to accept the Christian faith and also continued on with their Pagan beliefs. The initial arrival of Palladius, St. Patrick, St. Secundinus, St. Iserninus, St. Finnian, St. Enda and St. Auxilius had induced a dramatic influence on the religious and cultural future of Ireland as they had not only established and strengthened Christianity, but were also to create churches and monastic schools of learning that were to sustain and have a great impact also in Europe in the future. St. Brigid went to Downpatrick in the Ulster Province to try and have St. Patrick interred at her site at Kildare in Co. Kildare in Southern Leinster.

464 AD. 91.Conall Gulban who had been the 1st King of Tir Conaill / Tyrconnell (The Land of 91.Conaill Gulban) later to be known as Co. Donegal, who was another of the 8 sons of *90.Niall of the Nine Hostages the previous Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Felim Dal Cuinn 126th King of Tara / Ireland, was killed this year while he was unprotected at Magh Slecht at the base of what is now the mountain of Ben Bulben known then as Benn Gulban. He too had previously also been converted to Christianity  and his body was interned in the church nearby at Fidhnach Maighe Rein in Co. 498 / 502 AD The Battle of Seaghais occurred, between *93.Murtagh mac Ercae, the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Prince / Tanaiste and 91.Daui Tenga Uma / Duach Galach - of the Sweet Tongue the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Felim Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin 3rd King of Connacht. This was due to *90.Murtagh mac Ercae being a guarantee between 91.Daui Tenga Uma and 95.Eochy Tirmcharna who had been taken prisoner against the protection of *93.Murtagh mac Ercae, and on this occasion the men of Connacht were defeated. (95.Eochy Tirmcharna, who was a descendant of 91.Daui Tenga Uma would eventually become the Ui Briuin 6th King of Connacht.) 91.Daui Tenga Uma would also become the directly male line ancestor of the Ui Briuin Sinna, (O Malleys) the Ui Briuin Seola, (O Flahertys) the Ui Briuin Breifne (O Reillys and O Rourkes) and the Ui Briuin Ai O Connors, the Mac Dermots and the Mac Donaghs in the Connacht Province.

     The Battle of Slemain in Midhe / Meath in Northern Leinster occurred in which 91.Cairbre / Coirpre, one of the 8 sons of *90.Niall of the Nine Hostages the previous 126th King of Ireland defeated the men of Leinster / Laigin.

498 AD 97.Loarn the Heremonian Ui Conaire King of Dal Riada had his divided kingdom in both the north - east of the Ulster Province and nearby in Alba / Scottish Highlands and he was at this time embroiled in continual conflict with the Picts in Alba in his kingdom of Dal Riada. 93.Fergus Mor mac Earca who was one of his maternal grandsons, who was also a brother to *93.Murtagh mac Earca the Celtic Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Prince / Tanaiste in their Cenel Eogain territory nearby in the north of Ulster was to respond. 93.Fergus combined with 5 of his other brothers, including another known as 93.Fergus, 2 known as 93.Loarn and 2 known as 93.Angus, who were all the sons of 92.Murray / Muireadach mac Eogain the 2nd King of Aileach and Earca the daughter of 97.Loarn the King of Dal Riada who was now in big trouble in Alba. Together with 150 of their followers the 5 brothers all crossed over from Dal Riada in Co. Antrim into Dal Riada in the Scottish Highlands to try and assist him against the attacks from the Picts who they were able to defeat. Soon after 97.Loarn died, and 93.Fergus mac Ercae due to being a grandson of *91.Niall of the Nine Hostages the 126th King of Ireland and through the maternal connection to his mother 98.Earca, the daughter of 97.Loarn, was to be elected the first Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King of Dal Riada. He sent over to his brother, *93.Murtough mac Earca the Prince / Tanaiste of the Cenel nEogain to send him the marble seat / Saxum Fatale / Liath Fail / Cloch na Cinnemhna / Stone of Destiny / Fortune as his Inauguration Stone in Alba and he became the first absolute Heremonian King of Alba / Scottish Highlands.
