732 AD An internal conflict now occurred between 2 of the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Siol nAedo Slaine Septs descending from *94.Aed Slaine the previous joint 141st King of Ireland descended from 91.Conall Cremthainne, and 96.Cathal the son of ? the son of *94.Aed Slaine was killed on the east side of Lic Ailbhe by 96.Conaing the 16th King of Meath, the son of 95.Awley / Amhalgaidh, the son of 94.Congalach the previous 10th Siol nAedo Slaine King of Meath.

       Fiangalach the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Mail King, a son of Murrough / Murchad, died this year, who was descended from 90.Maine Mal the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Mail Sept, who had been one of the 2 sons of 89.Felim / Fedelmid descended from 86.Cu Corb.

     99.Cathal the Heberian Eoghanacht Glendamnach 19th King of Cashel / Munster defeated Follaman the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Caille Follamain King at Tlachtga in Meath in Northern Leinster, but was then defeated himself in battle by 104.Aed, the son of 103.Colgan / Colcu the Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig King of Ardda Lathrann with the Desgabair Southern Leinster forces.

     102.Murray / Muireadach mac Indrechtaig a Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh King, died, who was a son of 101.Indrechtach the previous 21st King of Connacht, who was a son of 100.Murray / Muireadach Muillethan the 18th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray Sept. (This was to be the end of his particular male line to the Ui Briuin Ai Kingship).

733 AD The Battle of Uchbadh occurred in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster between *96.Aed Allan the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 18th King of Ailech who had his territory in the north of the Ulster Province who brought his northern Ui Niaill forces to the south were he came up against 104.Aed the Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 17a King of Leinster the son of 103.Colgu, and his Chiefs, who were defeated at Ath Leanaigh (Ballyshannon) 4 miles west of Kilcullen Bridge, and the surrounding region was devastated.

      99.Cathal mac Finguine the Heberian Eoghanacht Glendamnach 19th King of Cashel / Munster took his advantage and raided the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill kingdom of Brega in Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster again, but was driven off from Tailtiu by *100.Donnell / Domhnall Midi the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 16th King of Meath, the son of 96.Murrough / Murchad Midi the previous 14th King of Meath. (*100.Donnell Midi of Meath would eventually become the future 156th King of Ireland).

 734 AD 98.Aed the Eoghanacht Locha Lein King of West Munster / Iar Muman, died, who was a son of 97.Conaing, the son of 96.Cummine, one of the 2 sons of 95.Aed Bennan the previous 9a King of Cashel / Munster, who was one of the 3 sons of 94.Criffan / Crimthann, a grandson of 92.Daui Iarlaithe the previous 3a King of Cashel / Munster descended from 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster. (His son, 99.Mael Duin would become the 20a King of Cashel / Munster).

      Ailill the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Cremthainn King, died this year, who was a son of Toole / Tuathal.

      The Septs in Southern Leinster had been able to capture 99.Dermot / Diarmait, one of the sons of 98.Aed Roin the Dal Fiatach 19th King of Ulaid, along with his companions, and his father had then arranged a truce with them. 103.Bran Bec who was the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge 17th King of Leinster gave 99.Dermot land at Dysert Diarmata (Castle Dermot) in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster were he was to become a hermit, and in 811 AD he would found the Hermitage there. 99.Diarmait was to also die there in 825 AD, and later on his grandson was to become the leader of the Celi De / Culdees (The Clients of God) who went on to become a great religious reforming group in the Catholic Church in Ireland. (They were to be a daughter - house of Bangor monastery in the north - east of the Ulster Province who also had land in Southern Leinster granted by the Cu Corb Ui Bairrche King descended from 91.Daire Barrach, who was a disciple of St. Comgall).

735 AD The Battle of Fochairt near Dundalk occurred at Magh (Plain) of Muirtheimhne in the Ulster Province, involving *96.Aed Allan the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 18th King of Aileach and 160th King of Ireland, (the son of *95.Fergal mac Maele Duin the previous 156st King of Ireland), against the Ulidians in the east of Ulster, and 98.Aed Roin the Dal Fiatach 19th King of Ulaid was killed at Cloch an Chommaigh in the doorway of the church at Fochard. Conchadh mac Cuanach the Irian Dal nAraidi King of the Ui Echach Cobo / Cobha Sept, a son of Cuanach was also killed along with many others. (This conflict had come about due to the Dal Fiatach Ui Segain Sept, who were under the leadership of 98.Aed Roin, profaning the Cill Cunna Sept.  The Ui Segain Sept were a small Sept in the Heremonian Dal Cuinn 3 Colla kingdom of Orghialla / Airghialla in Central and Southern Ulster who controlled the Abbacy of Dunleer / lann Leire, who were associated with St. Brigid in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster. The Colla Da Crioch Fir Rois Sept and the Ui Segain Sept in Lann Leire were also affiliated to the Colla Da Crioch Airthir Sept. 98.Aed Roin, had been a son of 97.Becc Bairrche the previous Dal Fiatach 17th King of Ulaid, a son of 96.Blathmac the 14th King of Ulaid, one of the 2 sons of 95.Mael Cobo who had been the 13th King of Ulaid. (The Dal Fiatach male line would now only be continued on to the Kingships through one of his 2 sons, 99.Fiachnae who would become the future 22nd King of Ulaid, although his other son, 99.Bressal was to also be the 21st King of Ulaid. 

      100.Cathussach the Irian 23rd Dal nAraidi King became the 20th King of Ulaid in the north - east of Ulster Province, who was a son of 99.Ailill the previous 15th Dal nAraidi King who was one of the 2 sons of 98.Dungal Eilni the 13th Dal nAraidi King descended from 95.Fiachra Caech, one of the 2 sons of 94.Baetan the 5b Dal nAraidi King descended from *91.Coelub, one of the 2 sons of 90.Crond Ba Drui, through *62.Rory Mor who had been the 84th King of Tara / Ireland and therefore from 37.Ir (Irians.)

     The Battle of Belach Eile occurred were many of the men from the Leinster Province were killed including Kelly / Ceallach mac Faelchair the King of Ossory in Co. Kilkenny in the south west of Southern Leinster, along with many of the men from the Munster Province, but 99.Cathal the Eoghanacht Glendamnach 19th King of Cashel / Munster was able to escape with his life. This year also the men of Munster were also involved in a battle in Meath in the north - west of Northern Leinster in the territory of the Cu Corb Ui Failge Sept descended from 91.Ros Failge, one of the 10 sons of *90.Caher / Cathair Mor the previous 109th King of Tara / Ireland.

     Forbassach the King of Ossory, died, who was a son of Ailill, and 103.Anmchaid was to become the new Heremonian Ui Connla King of Ossory, until 760 AD, who was a son of 102.Cucherca a previous King of Ossory.

       101.Cathal the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh 23rd King of Connacht, died, who was one of the 2 sons of 100.Murray / Muireadach Muillethan the previous 18th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh (Sil Murray) Sept. (101.Cathal was to become the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Cathail Sept, as he left behind 2 aristocratic warrior sons who would also become Kings of Connacht, in 102.Dub - Indrecht who would be the 27th King of Connacht, and 102.Artgal who would be the 30th King of Connacht.

     99.Cathal mac Finguine the Eoghanacht Glendamnach 19th King of Cashel / Munster had a meeting with *99.Aed Allen the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 160th King of Ireland at Terryglass / Tir Dha Ghlas (The Land of the Two Streams) in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province.

737 AD The Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Cenel Fiachach Sept descended from 91.Fiachu, another of the 8 sons of *90.Niall of the Nine Hostages, who had their territory in Delbna Bethra in the west of Meath in Northern Connacht were to have it devastated by the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla Sept nearby who were from out of the kingdom of Ossory / Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern  Leinster.

     Flann Feorna the Heberian Cianachta Corco Modh Ruadh King, who had their territory in the north - west of Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province, died this year.  Artrach the Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Meith King, died this year also, who was a son of Aitheachda, and they had their territory in Southern Central Ulster.

738 AD August 19th: *99.Aed Allan the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 160th King of Ireland assembled the forces of Leth Cuinn / Conn's Half and went to Ath Seanaith (Senaig) near Ballyshannon west of Kilcullen in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster, where he came up against the Septs of Southern Leinster and avenged the death of his father, *98.Fergal mac Maele Duin the previous 156th King of Ireland, 16 years earlier. *99.Aed Allan and 104.Aed mac Colgain the Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig 17a King of Leinster met in single combat and *99.Aed Allan was wounded while 104.Aed mac Colgan was killed, and very few of the Southern Leinster warriors were to survive the conflict. Among those also killed from Leinster were 103.Bran Bec the 17th King of Leinster, one of the 4 sons of 102.Murrough / Murchad the previous 14th King of Leinster, who was the second King in charge, Fearghus, the son of Maenach, and Dubh Dacrich, 2 of the Kings of the Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Felim Fotharta Sept, a son of O Kelly / Ua Cellaig, the son of Trian, Fiangalach Ua Maeleaithgin, Conall Ua Aithechdai, the 4 sons of Flann Ua Conghaile, Eladhach Ua Maeluidhir along with many others. The Dal Cuinn Septs were to kill 9,000 from the Southern Leinster Septs during this horrendous battle. (This was to see the end of the male line from 104.Aed mac Colgain to the Kingship and he would now be the last Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig King for nearly 300 years until 1042 AD.

     The Kingship of Leinster was now to be held exclusively by the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Septs from the Liffey Plains, and it was to alternate only with them and their descendants, emanating now from 3 of the 4 sons of 102.Murrough / Murchad the previous 14th King of Leinster who were all to become Kings of Leinster in their own right and leave Kings of Leinster. 103.Dunchad the 15th King of Leinster was to be the direct male ancestor of the Ui Dunchada Sept who were to spread their territory to the north - east to the outskirts of Dublin with their seat at Castle Lyons / Liamain on the Co. Dublin - Co. Kildare border. The Ui Dunlainge Ui Dunchada Sept were to later adopt the surname of Mac Giolla Mo - Cholmoc and later still Normanize it to Fitz Dermot. 103.Faelan the 16th King of Leinster was to become the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Ui Faelain Sept who were to have their territory at Naas where they were to control the eastern part of the Plain / Airthir Liphi. 103.Murray / Muireadach the 18th King of Leinster was to become the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Ui Muireadhaigh Sept who were to have their territory at Mullaghmast in the south of Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster, which was the original territory of the Ui Dunlainge Sept. Later on the O Toole / Ua Tuathail Sept were to be descended from 109.Toole / Tuathal the Ui Muireadhaigh 39th King of Leinster, a son of 108.Augare the 35th King of Leinster. Their kinsmen, the O Byrnes / Ui Brain Sept were to be descended from 111.Bran the 47th King of Leinster from the Ui Faelain Sept, who was to succeed his father 110.Mael Morda the previous 45th King of Leinster after the Battle of Clontarf in 1014 AD until he was to be blinded by the half - Viking King, Sitric Silkbeard in Dublin in 1018 AD, when he was to be deposed.

      103.Faelan became the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge 16th King of Leinster, who was another of the 4 sons of 102.Murchad the previous 14th King of Leinster, and a brother to 103.Dunchad the previous 15th King of Leinster, and also to 103.Bran Bec the future 17th King of Leinster who would be killed in the Battle of Ath Seanaith who was to be the only son who left no aristocratic issue towards the Kingship. 99.Cathal mac Finguine the Eoghanacht Glendamnach 19th King of Cashel / Munster carried out an attack on Southern Leinster to show his authority over Mogha's Half where he was to take hostages from 103.Faelan the 16tth King of Leinster.

     *99.Aed Allen the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 160th King of Ireland had previously ensured his overall authority over the Cenel nEogain Sept who had their territory in the north in the Ulster Province following on from the defeat of the Ulaid in 735 AD, and he had now defeated the  second main adversaries of the Cenel nEogain. All of those who were involved in his latest success had been from the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill, as the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill had previously already gained the authority over the Septs in the Leinster Province. His personal victory had only added to the authority of all the Ui Niaill Septs to now claim the High Kingship of Ireland outright. *99.Aedh Allan the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 160th King of Ireland was killed in the Battle of Magh Seirigh at Ceanannus Mor (Kells) between the two Tethbas by *100.Donnell / Domhnall Midi - of Meath the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 16th King of Meath, the son of 99.Murrough / Murchadh Midi the previous 14th King of Meath. Also killed during the conflict were his allies, Cumasach the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Airtheara / Oriors King, a son of Conor / Conchobar, Manach the Colla Da Crioch Ui Cremthainn King, a son of Connalach, and Murray / Muireadach the Colla Da Crioch Ui Thuirtre King, a son of Fearghus Forcraidh from the Ui Mac Uais Sept. (This was to see the beginning of the rise of the over lordship of the Clann Cholmain Kings of Ireland).

     103.Faelan the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge 16th King of Leinster, died, (who was one of the 4 sons of 102.Murrough / Murchad the previous 14th King of Leinster), and he was to become the direct male line ancestor of his own Ui Faelain Sept, as his male line was to be continued on by his son, 104.Rory / Ruaidhri who would become the Cu Corb Ui Faelain 20th King of Leinster.

       Dubh Dothra the Cu Corb Ui Briuin Chualann King was also killed this year who was descended from 94.Brion Lethderg, another of the 2 sons of 93.Enna Nia, who left aristocratic issue. 93.Enna Nia had been one of the 2 sons of 92.Bressal Belach the Cu Corb 1st King of Leinster descended from 90.Caher / Cathair Mor the previous 109th King of Tara / Ireland).  

 739 - 758 AD *100.Donnell Midi became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 161st King of Ireland, who was to be the first from the Clann Cholmain Sept, who was a son of 99.Murrough / Murchad Midi the previous 14th King of Meath, a son of 98.Diarmait Dian the 13th King of Meath descended from 94.Colman Mor the 6th King of Meath the direct male line ancestor of the Clann Cholmain Sept, who had been one of the 3 sons of 93.Diarmait mac Carroll the previous 133rd King of Ireland descended from 91.Conall Cremthainne, one of the 8 sons of *90.Niall of the Nine Hostages the 126th King of Tara / Ireland.      

740 AD Cu Brettan mac Congusso the Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Fir Rois King, who had his territory in the south - east of the Ulster Province, died on the Co. Monaghan - Co. Louth border, who was the father of Blathmac who was to write the poetry of Christ's passion. The Colla Da Crioch Airthir Sept now also evolved into 3 more individual Septs of their own, with the Colla Da Crioch Ui Niallain Sept becoming the stewards of Armagh in Co. Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province, the Colla Da Crioch Ui Bressail Sept, and the Colla Da Crioch Ui Echach Sept. Blathmac Con Brettan a poet, who was a son of Cu Brettan mac Congusso the Fir Rois King who had his territory on the Co. Monaghan - Co. Louth border, died this year also.
