                                                                                                                                                                                     781 - 790 AD

781 AD Faelan, a son of Forbassach, from the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla kingdom of Ossory whose territory was in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster was killed by his own people.

The Heremonian Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept who had their territory in the Ulster Province, who were descended from 91.Eogan the 1st King of Ailech, and their kinsmen the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain Sept, descended from one of his brothers, 91. Conall Cremthainne through 94.Colmain Mor who had his territory in the Midlands / Midhe / Co. Westmeath and Co. Meath in Northern Leinster, would continue to share the Kingship of Ireland from now on.

The Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Sept in the north of Southern Leinster was still the most dominant of the 2 Ui Laoghaire Cu Corb Leinster Septs, while their Ui Laoghaire Cu Corb kinsmen the Ui Cheinnselaig Sept in the south of Southern Leinster remained the most dominate further south. The Heberian Eoghanachta Septs were still the most dominant in the Munster Province, while the Irian Septs in the kingdom of Ulaid in the east of the Ulster Province was continually under pressure from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn northern Ui Niaill there. The Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Septs were also growing stronger in the  Connacht Province.

*101.Donough / Donnchad Midi the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 163rd King of Ireland went into Southern Leinster again to re - assert his Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill authority, but was defeated near Castledermot / Diseart Diarmada (Diarmait's Hermitage) in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster, so he set up a camp there at the Hill of Ailenn / Cnoc Almhaine on the site of what had previously been Dun Aillinne. This site had been one of the 3 original residences of the Kings of Leinster and of  83.Finn mac Cool / Fionn mac Cumhail the ancient Fianna Chieftain. From there *101.Donough Midi ravaged the whole countryside with fire, and also came up against the Cu Corb Ui Mail Ui Theig Sept and the Cu Corb Ui Garrchon Sept who had their territory in the east of Southern Leinster on the border of Dublin and Leixlip / Leim an Bhradain (The Salmon's Leap), This is on the north bank of the River Liffey were it meets the Rye Water, which was also previously the ancient boundary between Meath in Northern Leinster and Co. Kildare in Southern Leinster.

782 AD An internal dispute now also occurred between the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Septs in Southern Leinster, and 104.Bran Ardchenn a Ui Muireadhaigh Prince / Tanaiste, whose father was 103.Murray / Muireadach the previous 18th King of Leinster, was captured by 104.Rory / Ruaidri the present Ui Faelain 20th King of Leinster in a battle on the Curragh / an Currach (The Racecourse known then as St. Brigid's Pasture Land) in Co. Kildare in Central Southern Leinster. His ally, Mugron mac Flainn the Cu Corb Ui Failge O Faley King was also killed, who was descended from 91.Ros Failge the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Failge Sept, who was one of the sons of *90.Caher / Cathair Mor - the Greater the previous 109th King of Ireland.

102.Artgal the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh Siol Cathail 30th King of Connacht, abdicated this year, who was one of the 4 sons of 101.Cathal the previous 23rd King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Cathail Sept, one of the 2 sons of 100.Murray / Muireadach the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh (Sil Murray) Sept, who was one of the 4 sons of 98.Reilly / Raghallach the 12th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Briuin Ai Sept.

103.Tipraite became the new Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh 30a King of Connacht, who was a son of 102.Teague / Tadhg, one of the 4 sons of 101.Indrechtach the previous 21st King of Connacht, who had been one of the 2 sons of 100.Murray / Muireadach the 18th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh (Sil Murray) Sept in Connacht.

783 AD During the inauguration of 103.Tipraite as the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin 30a King of Connacht, Dudley / Dub Da Lethe the Abbot of Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province, who was also a King in his own right , established the Law of Patrick / Cain Patraic at Cruachan / Cruachu recognizing the claims of Armagh, and the Ui Briuin supremacy in the Connacht Province, who were now seen as the natural aristocratic heirs there. The Cain Patraic was then to be proclaimed by the future successive Abbots of Armagh also in the Connacht Province during the next two generations from 799 AD to 836 AD, and during this Century many of the Ui Briuin Kings of Connacht were to end their days in the monasteries.

This year outright religious internal conflict / bellum occurred at the monastery at Ferns in Co. Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster between the Abbot and another faction.

784 AD To reinforce the total authority that the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Sept, descended from 90.Brion, now had in the Connacht Province, 103.Tipraite the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh 30a King of Connacht laid siege to the Dal Cuinn southern Ui Fiachrach Aidni Sept, descended from 90.Fiachra, who had their territory in the north and the south at Carn Conaill.

The Law of Ailbhe, a saint who had founded a church at Emly / Imleach (The Lake border) in Co. Tipperary was also imposed on the Munster Province this year, to ensure the supremacy of Armagh situated in the south - east of the Ulster Province, as the main centre of the Catholic Church in Ireland, as the Heberian Eoghanacht Septs were still alternating the Kingship of Cashel / Munster between them there in Co. Tipperary.

785 AD To further ensure the overall authority of the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Septs in the Connacht Province, descended from 90.Brion, 103.Tipraite the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh 30a King of Connacht now also laid siege to the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Fiachrach Muaide Sept, descended also from 90.Fiachra, who had their territory at Moy, who had produced the last 3 Ui Fiachrach King of Connacht, and who were kinsmen to the Ui Fiachrach Aidni Sept in the south.

104.Rory / Ruaidri the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Ui Faelain 20th King of Leinster, died, who was the son of 103.Faelan the previous 16th King of Leinster who is the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Faelain Sept, one of the 4 sons of 102.Murrough / Murchad the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge 14th King of Leinster. The Ui Faelain male line would be continued on through his 2 sons, 105.Murray / Muireadach who would become the 23rd King, and 105.Diarmait who would be the actual one to continue on with the Ui Faelain further in the Kingship.

104.Bran Ardchenn became the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Ui Muireadhaigh 21st King of Leinster, who was a son of 103.Murray / Muireadach the previous 18th King of Leinster, who is the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Muireadhaigh Sept, and one of the 4 sons of 102.Murrough / Murchad the previous 14th King of Leinster.

786 AD 101.Scandlan the Eoghanacht Ui Fidgeinti Ui Chonaill Gabra King, died, who was the son of 100.Flann, a previous Ui Fidgeinti King, and his brother, 101.Olchobur who may have / or may not have been, the future 20b King of Munster, and all were descended from 93.Conall, the grandson of 91.Daire, one of the 2 sons of 90.Brion, who was a brother to 90.Coirpre the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Choirpri Aebda Sept. (They both also had a hereditary interest in the church of Inis Cathaig / Scattery Island (Cathach's Island) near Kilrush in Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province.

99.Mael Duin the Heberian Eoghanacht Locha Lein 20a King of Munster, died, who was a son of 98.Aed the King of West Munster / Iar Muman, a son of 97.Conaing, a son of 96.Cummine, one of the 2 sons of 95.Aed Bennan the 9a King of Munster, one of the 3 sons of 94.Criffan / Crimthann, the grandson of 92.Daui Iarlaithe the 3a King of Munster, a grandson of 90.Coirpre Luachra, one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster.  99.Mael Duin would leave behind 2 sons, 100.Congal and 100.Coffey / Cobthach who would leave further issue towards the Kingships.

Confusion rises here as to who was the next 20b King of Cashel Munster, either 101.Olchobar from the Heberian Eoghanacht Ui Fidgeinti Sept, one of the 2 sons of 100.Flann the Ui Fidgeinti King, who was a son of 99.Ercc, a son of 98.Doncnnach who had also been a Ui Fidgeinti King, the son of 97.Angus / Oengus, a son of 96.Nechtan, a son of 95.Brennain, a son of 94.Mac Arda, the son of 93.Conall the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Chonaill Gabra Sept. (See his brother, 101.Scandlan above). Or 100.Olchobar, the son of 99.Dub Indrecht, a son of 98.Cathussach, a son of 97.Uisnech, one of the 2 sons of 96.Mael Umai, a son of 95.Cuan the previous 12th King of Munster, a grandson of 93.Enda the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Endae Sept, a grandson of 91.Ailill, one of the 2 sons of 90.Nad Froich the 2nd King of Cashel / Munster another one of the 7 sons of 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster.

103.Tipraite the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh 30a King of Connacht, died, who was a son of 102.Teague / Tadhg, one of the 4 sons of 101.Indrechtach the previous 21st King of Connacht, who was one of the 2 sons of 100.Murray / Muireadach Muillethan the 18th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh (Sil Murray) Sept, who was a son of 98.Reilly / Raghallach the 12th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Briuin Ai Sept. This was to be the end of his particular Siol Muireadhaigh male line to the Kingship, and although he was to leave no important descendents, during his reign, the Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh came to be accepted as the natural heirs to the Kingship of Connacht.

103.Kenneth / Cinaed became the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh Siol Cathail 30b King of Connacht, who was a son of 102.Artgal the previous 30th King of Connacht, one of the 4 sons of 101.Cathal the 23rd King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Cathail Sept one of the 2 sons of 100.Murray / Muireadach Muillethan the 18th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh (Sil Murray) Sept,

787 AD From now on the Teutonic Vikings were to begin to make an impact on Ireland as the Men of the North (Norsemen). First as the Loch Lannaigh (Norwegians - Finn Gall) who were of fair complexion, who were to have the 1st Parliament in the World in Iceland, and then as the Danair (Danish - Dubh Gall) who were of a dark complexion who both had 40 - 60 warrior in their ships. The Finn Gall - Fair Foreigners were to dominate the scene earlier on, and then the Dubh Gall - Dark Foreigners and the Swedish, all of whom became known as the Vikingr - Vikings (Sea Roving Pirates). They would carry out ongoing and increasing raids throughout Ireland and set up settlements for the next two hundred years. Due to their ongoing attacks and the disruptions they caused to the Irish Brehon Law they were to also create an opportunity for the Heberian In Deis Tuaiscirt / Dal gCais of Thomond / Northern Munster to eventually further increase their strength and therefore their influence over other parts of the north of Co. Limerick and Co. Tipperary. Finally in the future in 1014 AD *105.Brian Boru - of  the Tributes who would then be the Dal gCais King of Thomond would also become the 41st King of Munster and then the Dalcassian 175th High King of Ireland and he would then be in a position to be the one who would bring about the beginning of the end of their continuing attacks throughout Ireland. Despite the ferocity of the Vikings no Irish kingdom or Sept would ever be obliterated during the ongoing Viking raids. The Vikings from Norway were to be the first after they were to attack Lindisfarne Abbey off of the Lothian coast and overrun Northumbria in central England, and on landing in the north - east of Ireland / Eire in the Ulster Province they were informed it was the Land of 37.Ir (Tir Ir), which was then still the main domain of his Milesian Gaelic Irian descendants and this also fortified the name of Ireland / Ir - Land.

The Teutonics would come once again later on in 1169 AD as the Anglo - Norman - English who were originally also Scandinavian Vikings who had previously settled in Normandy (Land of the Northmen) under the auspices of the French King who could not shift them and allowed them to stay there to protect his southern regions, and at that later time they were to begin the complete take over of Irish territory as individuals, and begin the total destruction of the Irish Septs and their kingdoms. The Anglo - Normans were to have no conception of the Tuatha / Family structured culture of the Celtic Septs in Ireland and their way of life as the Irish Family traditions were totally foreign to their particular culture.

787 AD With 103.Tipraite the previous Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh 30a King of Connacht out of the way, the Dal Cuinn northern Ui Fiachrach Muaide Sept, descended from 96.Dunchad Muirisci the previous 16th King of Connacht, descended from 90.Fiachra tried to regain their lost ground from the Ui Briuin Septs, descended from his brother, 90.Brion, winning two of their eventual conflicts. In the first one they lost 100.Cathmug, the son of 99.Donn Cothaid the previous Ui Fiachrach Ui Muaide 28th King of Connacht who was to be their last King and this defeat saw the end of any chance for their Ui Fiachrach male line to once again become the Kings of Connacht.  102.Dub - Dibcirgg a Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh Siol Cathail King was also killed in the battle, who had been one of the 4 sons of 101.Cathal the previous 23rd King of Connacht, who was one of the 2 sons of 100.Murrough / Muireadach the 18th King of Connacht and subsequently his Ui Fiachrach Muireadhaigh male line was to leave no Kings at all. The second battle was to result in the slaughter of the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Umaill Sept who had finally appeared as an individual Ui Briuin Sept in their own right for the first time and as such they were to be defeated by the Ui Fiachrach Muaide Sept, descended from 96.Dunchad Muirisci the previous 16th King of Connacht). The Ui Briuin Umaill / Ui Maille Sept never really gained an prominence after this until they were to eventually produce the modern day Families of O Malley / O Mally / O Mailey / O Melia.

788 AD The Law of Kieran / Ciaran was proclaimed again in the Connacht Province.

789 AD *101.Donough / Donnchad Midi the Heremonian Dal Cuinn southern Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 163rd King of Ireland made a final expedition into Mogha's Half to assist the Heremonian Cu Corb Septs in Southern Leinster against the Heberian Septs in the Munster Province after being invited there by 104.Bran Ardchenn the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Ui Muireadhaigh 21st King of Leinster who was married to his daughter, 102.Eithne.

99.Fiachnae the Dal Fiatach 22nd King of Ulaid, died, who was one of the sons of 98.Aed Roin the previous 19th King of Ulaid descended from 96.Blathmac the 14th King of Ulaid, one of the 2 sons of 95.Mael Cobo the 13th King of Ulaid, descended from 90.Forgg mac Dallain. One of 99.Fiachnae's sons, 100.Eochy / Eochaidh would become the future 24th King of Ulaid, and another 100.Cyrell / Cairell was to also become the 25th King of Ulaid.

99.Tomaltach the 26th Dal nAraidi King became the Irian 23rd King of Ulaid in the north - east of the Ulster Province, who was a son of 98.Indrechtach the previous 22nd Dal nAraidi King, the son of 97.Lethlobar the 18th Dal nAraidi King, a son of 96.Eochy / Eochaidh Iarlaithe the 10th Dal nAraidi King, one of the 2 sons of 95.Fiachnae Lurgan the 9th King of Ulaid, descended from 90.Crond Ba Drui, *62.Rory Mor the 86th King of Tara / Ireland descended from 37.Ir (Irians.)

The Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Ailello Sept, from the original 3 Connachta, who were descended from 90.Ailill, the brother of 90.Brion and 90.Fiachra and a half - brother to *90.Niall the 126th King of Tara / Ireland, were still hanging onto some of their Ui Ailello territory in the Connacht Province, and they became involved in a further conflict this year when they were able to defeat the Luigni Sept at Achad Ablae in the Barony of Corann.

At this time, 102.Fagartach was one of the 4 sons of 101.Cathal the previous Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhaigh 23rd King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Cathail Sept, who was one of the 2 sons of 100.Murrough / Muireadhach the 18th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Siol Muireadhaigh (Sil Murray) Sept, who was one of the 3 sons of 98.Reilly / Raghallach the 12th King of Connacht the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Briuin Ai Sept. 102.Fagartach would become the direct male line ancestor of 3 future Kings of Connacht as his son, 103.Mael Cothaid would become the 32nd King, and his two grandsons, 104.Murrough / Murchad the 35th King, and 104.Mugron the 38a King.

790 AD The Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin and the Dal Cuinn Ui Ailello Septs, from the original 3 Connachta, decided to combine their efforts and they defeated the Luigni Sept again at Ath Rois were they killed Dub Da Thuath the aristocratic warrior Heberian Cianachta King of the 3 Luigni Septs in the Connacht Province.

99.Tomaltach the Irian Dal nAraidi 23rd King of Ulaid, died, who was the son of 98.Indrechtach the previous 22nd Dal nAraidi King, who was a grandson of 96.Eochy / Eochaidh Iarlaithe the 10th Dal nAraidi King, one of the 2 sons of 95.Fiachnae Lurgan the previous 9th King of Ulaid, descended from *91.Coelub, one of the 3 sons of 90.Crond Ba Drui. His son, 100.Lynch / Loingsech would continue on their Irian Dal nAraidi male line to the Kingship.

100.Eochy / Eochaidh became the Dal Fiatach 24th King of Ulaid in the east of the Ulster Province, who was one of the 2 sons of 99.Fiachnae the previous 22nd King of Ulaid, who was one of the 2 sons of 98.Aed Roin the 19th King of Ulaid, a grandson of 96.Blathmac, one of the 2 sons of 95.Mael Cobo the 13th King of Ulaid, descended from 91.Murray / Muireadach Muinderg the 1st King of Ulaid, one of the 2 sons of 90.Forgg mac Dallain. 99.Tomaltach who was his Dal Fiatach kinsman, who was descended from a brother to 96.Blathmac in 96.Angus, was excluded from a go at the Kingship and he attacked his Dal Fiatach kinsmen and was slain, but his sons were to be recognized as the Dal Fiatach Leth Cathail Kings. His father, 98.Cathal was to be the direct male line ancestor of the Leth Cathail Sept as he was actually a son of 97.Murray / Muireadach, a son of 98.Angus / Oengus, a brother to 96.Blathmac the previous 14th King of Ulaid. 99.Tomatach's son, 100.Indrechtach was to become the father of 101.Mael Mocheirge and 101.Cathalan who were both to become Kings of Leth Ulaid / Half  Ulaid.
