BRAN: Is a physical part of Oat, Rice and Wheat that is underneath the outer layer of Husk and is obtained by removing the Husk of the Kernel and abrasively milling the thin Bran layers.

*Contains 2 types of dietary Fibre (1) Insoluble (2)Soluble.

 

(1) Insoluble Fibre assists the Body by providing Bulky Fibre and promoting Bowel regularity. Oat Bran - Insoluble Fibre 5.5%. Rice Bran -  23% Wheat Bran - 33.3%. Rice Bran has 5 times the Insoluble Fibre of Oat Bran and more Soluble Fibre than Wheat Bran and this assists to maintain a healthy Colon and promote regularity as well as caring for the Cardiovascular System by lowering Cholesterol. Irregularity: is due to Insoluble Fibre lacking in the diet.

Treatment: 60gm of Rice or Wheat in the diet and drink 6 - 8 glasses of water daily.             

 (2) Soluble Fibre - Oat Bran - Soluble Fibre 4.8% Rice Bran - 2.5% Wheat Bran - 2.0%. Oat Bran and Rice Bran are equal in lowering Blood Cholesterol levels. Rice Bran includes the Germ making it highly nutritious, as it is rich in many Essential Fatty Acids, Minerals and Vitamins. Soluble Fibre: decreases the risk of certain types of Heart Disease by reducing Blood Cholesterol levels and improves the High Density Lipoproteins / HDL - LDL ratio.

 *High Density Lipoproteins / HDL's - carry excess Cholesterol from the Blood Stream back to the Liver where the Liver uses the Cholesterol to create Bile Salts needed to emulsify Fats in the Intestine for absorption.

*Low Density Lipoproteins / LDL's: transport Cholesterol to different parts of the Body to be used by the Cells. Excess LDL's are deposited on the Artery Walls and if they are not used, this leads to Hardening of the Blood Vessels creating Cardiovascular Disease.

  *Apple Cider Vinegar  N.B. (1 part ACV to at least 4 times the liquid (water, Juice, etc) ) Must be made correctly from the best products and over the correct period of time (1-6 weeks) with a full flavor and a strong Apple aroma and should have sediment at the bottom of the bottle, which are in reality the good Bacteria from the air we breathe. It is also a Natural product for many jobs around the Home. (See under separate cover in its own section) Especially used as a Nutritional Supplement as it contains multiple Vitamins, Minerals and Amino Acids used by the Body for maintaining general health by preventing Disease, Controls Weight, eases Breathing difficulties, Colds and Coughs, Settles the Digestive System, Also aids in Digestion, Conditions the Skin, Preserves Memory, Combats Arthritis, Cancer, Infections, Osteoporosis and the Ageing of the Mind, It contains not only the original Pectin, Beta – Carotene and Potassium but also health promoting Enzymes and Amino Acids. It has similar chemicals to those found in the human Stomach and contains 30 Nutrients, 12 Minerals, 6 Vitamins and Essential Acids along with several Enzymes, Besides these it has Complex Carbohydrates and Dietary Soluble Fibre known as Pectin for a healthy Heart, which dissolves in the Body slowing down the absorption of food and liquid in the Intestines. This makes it Anti - Septic - killing Germs on contact and also Anti - Biotic as it contains Bacteria unfriendly to the Micro - Organisms and therefore acts as a Disinfectant, A teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a tall glass of Vegetable Juice gives a combination of Fibre & Beta - Carotene and it also supplies a balanced dose of vital Amino Acids, Minerals and Vitamins required by the Body and Mind. 

 

*Psyllium Husks / Hulls: are a natural Grain and the Husks are an especially excellent Fibre that assists to lower Cholesterol and maintain regularity by removing Bile Acid from the Intestine and prevents their re - absorption, lowering Blood Cholesterol levels. Doseage: 1 x level Tablespoon in Juice morning and night. N.B: Psyllium Husks can be purchased in 1kg bags at the Supermarket. Use 1 x Tablespoon in a glass of Juice 3 times a day, if required, and consume it up to half an hour before meals. If you let it sit a while it will turn into a natural Jelly and can be eaten with a spoon or drunk. With a squeezed natural organic orange it is very sweet or you can use any other sweet Juice to suite. Also you can add 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to it each time to assist the pH of the Stomach.
