Donegal in the west of the Ulster Province, and Angus Mac Gilla Fhinnein the King of Loch Erne attacked Cathal O Reilly the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of East Breifne who had his kingdom and territory to the south of Co. Fermanagh in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster, and they also took their ships to Loch Oughter where they plundered Eanish.

       109.Conor / Conchobhair Gud O Hara the Heberian Cianacht King in the Ui Luigni kingdom of Leyney in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province, "died," whose son was 110.Aodh O Hara, who was the "first" to use their surname, and through his 3 sons he would become the ancestor of the O Hara Buidhe - of the Yellow Hair, the O Hara Reagh - of Red Complexion, and eventually also the O Hara - of the Route / Ruta at Crebilly in Co.     116.Aed mac Ruaidri O Connor, the youngest surviving son of *115.Rory O Connor the previous and last 183rd King of Ireland, was now "re - installed" as the "official" Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Ui Conchobhair 60th King of Connacht under "The Irish Brehon Law" and he made "peace" with Mac William de Burgh the Anglo - Norman Baron who was nevertheless still endeavouring to continually gain "complete" control over the Connacht Province,  While 117.Conor mac Ruaidri O Connor, his nephew who was the son of 116.Aed mac Ruaidri O Connor, and grandson of *115.Rory O Connor, managed to "escape" from the English Galls and assemble the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Princes of Connacht about him, but his freedom was shorth lived as he was to be slain in battle. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor who the English Galls had previously installed and also removed as the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht was then released  by the Galls / foreigners from his captivity.

    Donnell O Longergan 111 from the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Sept who had retired in 1223 AD as the Catholic Archbishop of Cashel in Co. Tipperary in the kingdom of Ormond / North - Eastern Munster, "died. "  

     Richard de Burgh / Burke this year constructed another Dunanon Castle / Bun Gaillme that had previously been begun by Adam Staunton / de Stonndun the original Anglo - Norman Baron there, who had been previously allocated the "confiscated" Estates in Co. Mayo in the mid - west of the Connacht Province. (Some members of the Staunton family were to Gaelicize their name to Mac Evilly / Mac an Milidh (Descended from a son of the warrior / knight).

    The "Franciscan" monks of St. Francis were to arrive into Ireland this year, while members of the "Augustine," " Carmelite," and "Dominican" Orders had come earlier, and the first "Franciscan" friary was now to be constructed in the south of Youghal in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province, where they decided to go after 116.Aed mac Ruaidri O Connor, the son of *115.Rory O Connor, who was now the "official" 60th King of Connacht and also attack the rest of *115.Rory's descendants to try and "clear the way" for 116.Felim Crobhdhearg  O Connor' and his descendants to regain the future Kingship of Connacht, and as a result 116.Aed mac Ruaidri O Connor the 60th King of Connacht was slain. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor then re - assumed the position as the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin 61st King of Connacht and also destroyed the castles of *115.Rory O Connor's sons, along with William de Burgh's / Burkes Bun Gaillme Castle, also the Hen's Castle on Castle Kirk Island in Loch Corrib, and the Dunamon Castle. William de Lacy, (one of the sons of Hugo de Lacy) and 116.Rois O Connor, another of the daughters of *115.Rory O Connor), and the English Galls from out of the O Melaghlins / O Loughlin Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain kingdom of Meath in the south of Northern Leinster took a great army north into the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne kingdom of East Breifne into what is now Co. 1234 AD  The Connacht Province was now a shambles and in complete "turmoil," and Aodh O Hara / Aed Ui hEaghra the Heberian Cianacht King of Leyney / Luigni in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province was slain by his kinsmen, Donough O Hara the son of Durcan O Hara, for having previously committed a fingal by also slaying his brother and his 5 sons and blinding another brother in an attempt to "clear the way" for him and his descendants during a power struggle for "overall authority" there in their kingdom of Leyney, and Donough O Hara then "assumed" the position for himself, but was taken prisoner by Teague O Connor, and was to be also slain along the way by a son of the recently deceased Aodh O Hara. 

   Donnell O Donnell, the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill King from Tir Conaill / Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the far - west of the Ulster Province this year, finally became the "overlord" of further territory in Co. Fermanagh situated nearby in the south - west of the Ulster Province, and Angus Mac Gilla Fhinnein the King of Loch Erne / Eirne besieged Donnell O Donnell the Cenel Conaill King and he was slain.

      The "Franciscan" monks were now to found the Grey Friary in Kilkenny in Co. Kilkenny in the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla Mac Gilla Patrick / Fitz Patrick kingdom of Ossory / Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster.

     116.Donnell / Domhnall O Niaill, another of the sons of 115.Aed Meith O Niall, the previous Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King of Co. Tyrone / Tir nEogain, who had his territory in Central Ulster Provnce, was slain by his kinsman and opposition, Donnell Mac Loughlin / Lochlainn who now "seized" the outright overall Heremonian Cenel nEogain Kingship in the Ulster Province for himself.

     Richard de Burgh / Burke assembled the English Galls and they attacked Roscommon in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province burning it and the church at Elphin, and then went on to Ath Da Larac on the River Boyle, and among the foreigners ranks there were the Anglo - Norman Barons, Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald the English Justicar in Ireland. Hugo de Lacy, Richard de Burgh, the son of William de Burgh / Burke, Walter Ridesford who was now the chief Anglo - Norman Baron in Southern Leinster and John Gogan 'who was with the English Galls also from the Munster Province. They overran the monastery at Boyle in the Connacht Province and "stole" the religious chalices and any of the other valuables from there and then turned on the Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain kingdom of Thomond / Northern Munster from where they also took great booty. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht then pursued the English Galls, joining in with the men from Munster Province of whom many were to be slain due to the "defection" of their leader 111.Donough Cairbreach O Brian the Heberian Dal gCais King of Northern Munster / Thomond  who was also the English appointed Earl of Thomond, but despite this setback the men from the Connacht Province were able to successfully "withdraw" from the conflict. The next day 111.Donough Cairbreach O Brian made "peace" with the English Galls and "combined" with them to besiege the Connacht Province, and 114.Aed O Flaherty the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Seola King of West Connacht was forced to make "peace" with them also. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht and his followers "retreated" to the north - west up into the Ulster Province to the "protection" of Donnell O Donnell the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill King, leaving the Connacht Province to the English Galls altogether who then demanded Magnus O Connor, the son of Murtough O Connor should give over "hostages," but he "refused," so they sent out raiding parties and plundered Achill Island in Co. Mayo. Aed O Flaherty and Eogan Ua hEidin arrived in their ships, accompanied by a great number of their warriors, to Leenane in Co. Galway, and Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald the English Justicar met them at Inisheany in Druimne. At first Magnus O Connor seemed to have some success over the English forces, but the combined English Galls then raided the nearby islands slaying all of those there, and Magnus O Connor's followers returned to their ships and the English Galls then went to Ballysadare in Co. Sligo from where they raided Donnell Mor - the Greater O Donnell the Heremonain Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill King for harbouring 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht who was his father - in - law. On arriving at the Curlieu Hills, on Loch Key they also took Cormac Mac Dermot's castle and when the defenders there eventually came out they put in their own English Galls / foreigners instead to man it against the Gaelic Irish Septs there. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor then made "peace" with Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald  the English Justicar, as did Cormac Mac Dermot / Diarmada and after 3 weeks the English Galls left the castle with O Hoslin still inside and he closed the gate on them and they fled and Cormac Mac Dermot then destroyed the castle so the English Galls would not make use of it again. Donnell O Niall and Murtough Og - the Younger O Niall, 2 of the sons of Murtough O Niall, were slin by Donnell O Connor, the son of Magnus O Connor, the son of Murtough O Connor, and also 116.Niall Ruad - of Red Complexion mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor, another son of 115.Cathal Crobhdhearg O Connor, on Clare Island in Co. Mayo, were they interred their remains. Toole / Tuathal O Connor, another son of Murtough O Connor, was also slain by Conor O Connor, the son of Aed Muimneach O Connor. Magnus O Connor, the son of Murtough O Connor was able to wipe out the English forces who were then raiding Finloch of Cera / Loch Carra in Co. Mayo on behalf of 116.Turlough mac Rory O Connor, the other son of *115.Rory O Connor. Donough / Donnchad O Connor, another son of Murtough O Connor also slew the warriors from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin na Sinna Sept. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht destroyed the castle at Meelick, and the church of an Druimne at Athleague in Co. Roscommon in the Connacht Province was burnt along with the books of the "Canons."  

       With the ongoing unparalled turmoil in the Connacht Province, Richard de Burgh / Burke the Anglo - Norman English Baron and the English Galls were able to finally take over "control" in the Connacht Province this year.  

 

     Maurice Fitz Gerald the English Norman Justicar in Ireland received a claim from Hugh de Lacy the Anglo - Norman Baron to be "reinstated" to the position as the English Earl of Ulster, which also now took in the territory of the 2 Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Septs extending from Co. Tyrone / Tir Eogan to Co. Fermanagh and he also set out to attack Tyrconnell / Tir Conaill / Co Donegal / Dun na Gall - The Fort of the Strangers the kingdom of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill O Donnells, and he was to be later restored as the English Earl of Ulster.

      From this year on the de Berminghams / Bellinghams / Mac Feorais the Anglo - Norman Marcher Barons were to have their "confiscated" Estates in the south - west of the Connacht Province where they were to control the settlement at Athenry in the west of Co. Galway, and another church was also built at Drumacoo.

1236 AD Maelsechlainn O Malley / Ua Maille from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ui Maille Sept in the north - west of the Connacht Province was slain on Daceuindi Island by Donough O Connor, the son of Magnus O Connor, the son of Murtough O Connor. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht was now "banished" by Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald the English Justicar in Ireland after Mac William de Burgh / Bourke had gone to England and although Connacht Provincewas raided he was to "escape" once again up to the protection of his son - in - law Donnell Mor - the Greater O Donnell the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Niall Ui Dalaigh Cenel Conaill King in the north - west of the Ulster Province. Another castle was to be constructed against the Irish Septs at Omagh in Co. Omagh in the Ulster Province against the Irish Septs in the Connacht Province and 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor was first pursued to Roscommon, then to Sligo Bridge in Co. Sligo where they also raided Teige / Tadhg O Connor taking away the women who were there with him as "hostages," and they then went on to Druim n Grecraige in the Mac Dermot's kingdom of Moylurg in the Connacht Province, to the Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald the English Justicar. They left 117.Brian mac Ruaidri O Connor, the son of 116.Turlough mac Ruaidri O Connor, the son of *115.Rory O Connor the last 183rd King of Ireland, to rule the territory there, and with Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald  the English Justicar's men he then raided the sons of 116.Aed mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht and many more of his followers, and they in turn raided the English Galls and those who were in sympathy with them, and once again the whole countryside in the Connacht Province was in complete and thorough turmoil. Conor O Connor, the son of Aed Muimneach O Connor was slain by Magnus / Manus O Connor, the son of Murtough Muineach O Connor. Mac William de Burgh / Bourke the Anglo - Norman Baron, had returned to Ireland. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht returned to the Connacht Province when he was requested to do so by some of the more "desperate" Connacht Chiefs, but the following they were to put together soon "disbanded" and went after "booty" instead, and 117.Brian Mac Ruaidri O Connor the grandson of *115.Rory O Connor, was to then slay a great number of them. Mac William de Burgh / Bourke the Anglo - Normaqn Baron decided to either "banish" all of the O Connor Septs altogether from out of the Connacht Province or somehow bring them to "heel," but Conor Ruad - of Red Complexion O Connor then "submitted" to him and Mac William de Burgh / Bourke decided to leave the Connacht region for the time being. Aed O Flaherty the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Seola King of West Connacht, "died," and the Connacht Province was now in even greater "internal strife" as there was now no real "outright" leader left there to the Barons and their English Galls or the Gaelic Dal Cuinn Irish Septs to besiege. 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial"61st King of Connacht was to then to further "enhance" his actual claim to the O Connor leadership when he was to "defeat" the descendants of *115.Rory O Connor the last 183rd King of Ireland and Conor Mac Dermot, the son of Cormac Mac Dermot, in an allout battle at Cluain Catha.

     Diarmait O Rourke, the son of Niall O Rourke was "blinded" by his Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin kinsman Cu Connacht O Reilly who was from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin East Breifne kingdom nearby in Co. Cavan, in the south of the Ulster Province, which was also a part originally of the Ui Briuin Breifne kingdom in Co. Leitrim in the Connacht Province their main territory that was now held by their close kinsmen, the O Rourkes, while Cathal Riabach O Rourke, the son of Gilla Broide O Rourke, the Ui Briuin Breifne King of West Breifne there in Co. Leitrim also "died" this year.

1237 AD 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht brought a host of warriors into the Connacht Province  combined with Cu Chonnacht O Reilly from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin East Breifne Sept and all of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Septs, Cathal mac Rannall / Mheic Ragnaill  / Reynolds with the the Gaelic Milesian Irian Conmaicne Septs, and the 3 sons also of 116.Aed mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor to besiege and drive out the remaining descendents of *115.Rory O Connor who had been the "official" elected 57th King of Connacht under "The Brehon Law" and the "last" Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ui Conchobhair 183rd King of Ireland. 117.Brian Mac Ruaidri O Connor, the son of 116.Turlough mac Ruaidri O Connor, and Murtough Mac Dermot and Donnell Mac Dermot the 2 sons of Diarmait mac Dermot, who were all "maternal" descendants of *115.Rory O Connor, and Conor mac Dermot, the son of Cormac Mac Dermot who were all kinsmen. The English Galls / foreigners who were with Cormac mac Dermot and 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht made a charge at them and they broke ranks and *115.Rory O Connor's "official" descendents "fled" and dispersed and were no more among the Siol Muireadhaigh / Sil Murray Ui Concobhair / O Connor Septs and all their "remaining" Septs were then also attacked. Conor Mac Dermot, the son of Cormac Mac Dermot who had his kingdom of Tirerril / Tir Ailello in the Connacht Province also was now to be the "object" of their raids, and they sent their fleet onto Loch Key to "depose" Cormac Mac Dermot the Dal Cuinn Ui Conchobar Mheic Diarmada King of Moylurg in the Connacht Province and gave the "unofficial" Kingship of Moylurg there to his kinsman, Donough Mac Dermot, and Mac Maurice Fitz Gerald the English Justicar made "peace" once again with 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor the "unofficial" 61st King of Connacht and many more English castles were then to be constructed against the Irish Septs in Connacht. Magnus O Connor, the son of Diarmait O Connor, the son of Magnus O Connor, was also slain by 117.Donnell mac Ruaidri O Connor, the son of 116.Diarmait mac Ruaidri O Connor, another son of *115.Rory O Connor who had been the last "official" 183rd King of Ireland. 117.Murtough mac Ruaidri O Connor, another of the sons of 116.Diarmait mac Ruaidri O Connor, another son of *115.Rory O Connor also, was slain by the sons of Magnus O Connor. Cathal O Reilly / Raghailligh the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of East Breifne who had his kingdom in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster, now allowed the O Connors who were now in control in the Connacht Province to build a monastery on Trinity Island in Loch Oughter and 116.Felim mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor now also slew the "hostages" that he held on behalf of Conor O Connor, the son of Cormac O Connor.  

     Conor mac Cormaic O Gara from the kingdom of Leyney in Connacht carried out a raid in the Connacht Province gaining booty, but his brother was to be slain during the conflict.  

1238 AD 113.Donnell / Domnall Mac Loughlin / Mheic Lochlainn who was now the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel n Eogain King of Aileach had his territory in the north - east of the Ulster Province and in Central Ulster who was the son of 112.Murtough Mac Loughlin who had died in 1196 AD who had been a brother to 112.Niall Mac Loughlin who had divided the Cenel nEogain kingdom with 114.Aed - the Lazy Limbed Youth O Niall in 1167 AD. This year Mac Maurice / Muiris the  Norman English Justicar in Ireland along with Hugh / Hugo de Lacy who was now the English Earl of Munster and a force of English Galls / foreigners besieged the Cenel nEogain territory there in the Ulster Province with a large army and "deposed" 113.Donnell Mac Loughlin the Cenel nEogain King of Aileach "banishing" him from his own territory, and put in as their "puppet" prospect *116.Brian Catha Duinn O Niall, the son of the previously deceased 115.Niall Ruad - of Red Complexion O Niall, as the new overall Cenel nEogain King of Aileach, while  taking "hostages" from both to ensure that they continued to do the bidding of the English Galls. 

    117.Donough Uaithnech mac Ruaidri O Connor, the son of 116.Aed mac Ruaidri O Conor the previous "official" 60th King of Connacht, the son of *115.Rory O Connor the last 183rd King of Ireland was also slain by 117.Teague / Tadhg O Connor, the son of 116.Aed mac Cathail Crobhdhearg O Connor, who also captured Donough O Hara, the son of Duarcan O Hara / Ua h Eaghra, who was the Heberian Cianacht King of Leyney / Luigni in Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province. and he too was slain. Donough Mac Dermot, the son of Murtough Mac Dermot / Muirchertach Mheic Diarmada combined with Cathal O Reilly who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne King of East Breifne in Co. Cavan in nearby Southern Ulster and they besieged the Connacht Province and many more were slain. More English Gall castles were now to be constructed in Connacht against the Irish Septs in the Gaelic kingdoms of the Muintir Murrough / Murchadha, the Conmaicne Cuile and Carra by the English Norman Barons and 115.Rory O Flaherty, the son of Aed O Flaherty was now also" captured" by the English Barons and their English Galls

   111.Murtough Fionn O Brian, a son of 110.Donnell Mor O Brian the previous King of Northern Munster / Thomond also "died" this year.

    Lasairfina O Connor, the daughter of 115.Cathal Crobhdhearg O Connor, who was the wife of Donnell Mor - the Greater O Donnell the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niall Cenel Conaill King of Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the west of the Ulster Province, made a gift of her property Rossborne to the "Canons" on Trinity Island in Loch Key.
