                                                                                                                                                     1466 -  1470 AD

1466 AD Turlough Bog - the Soft O Brian the Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain King of Munster formed an alliance with the Gaelic Irish Chiefs in Mogha's Half, which took in Southern Leinster and the Munster Province, and he devastated the English foreigners over large areas, so that he gained territory back in Co. Limerick, and also in the south of Co. Tipperary, and there was even talk now of inaugurating him as the overall King of Ireland, but unfortunately he had previously acknowledged 122.Henry / Einri O Niall the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain King of Ulster as being the overall Gaelic King in Ireland and had therefore become in reality his vassal. The most important of these Gaelic Milesian Irish Kings, due to the constant English oppression, were all now known as The O Niall, The O Donnell, The O Connor, The O Brian, The Mac Carthy, The Mac Murrough and The Cavanagh and they were all now to be involved in a tenuous alliance at this time, as were the Anglo - Norman Fitz Geralds the English Earls of Kildare, the Fitz Geralds the English Earls of Desmond, the Butlers the English Earls of Ormonde, and the Burkes / de Burghs the English Earls in the Connacht Province.

Teague / Tadhg an Chomahaid O Brian the Heberian Dal gCais Ui mBriain King of Northern Munster / Thomond who was a son of Turlough O Brian the previous King of Northern Munster, and he took a great army of the Irish Gaels from Mogha's Half, the Munster Province and Southern Leinster, to take the English Galls head on, and it seemed that he now also had a real chance at the overall Gaelic Kingship of Tara / Ireland, as he was able to gain possession of the confiscated Estates held by the Anglo - Norman Clan William Burkes, and Co. Limerick held by Fitz Gerald the Anglo - norman Earl of Desmond, but he was unfortunately forced to return home where he was to die of a sickness. Conor na Shrona - of the Big Nose O Brian, who was also a son of Turlough Bog - the Soft O Brian, became the next Heberian Dal gCais King of Northern Munster and would continue to rule there for 30 years until 1496 AD, and along with his Anglo - Norman kinsman, Mac William / Burke from the Clan Rickarde, who had his confiscated Estates in Co. Tipperary in the north - east of the Munster Province, he besieged the O Kellys from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine Sept who had their kingdom and territory nearby in the south - east of the Connacht Province. They also laid siege to the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill O Donnells who had their main kingdom and territory in Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the north - west of the Ulster Province, and also Mac William Eighter who was another one of the Anglo - Norman Burkes, and the combined forces of the Heberian Dal gCais Sept under Conor na Shrona O Brian and the Anglo - Norman Clan Rickarde under Mac William Burke also prevailed in a battle that then occurred near Galway City in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht, and this would bring about peace there for the next 20 years.

The English Galls who had their confiscated Estates in the O Melaghlins / O Loughlins Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain kingdom of Meath / Midhe in the south of Northern Leinster, once again also raided Southern Leinster, where they were once again defeated.

Thomas Fitz Gerald the Anglo - Norman seventh English Earl of Desmond who was also the English Lord Lieutenant in Ireland for Edward 1V, the first Norman English Yorkist King of England, was captured by Teague O Connor Faly from the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Failghe Sept who had his kingdom and territory in Co. Offaly in the north - west of Southern Leinster who was also his brother - in - law, and he took him and the other English Galls to Carbury Castle were they were tried by the English Galls of Dublin and Edward 1V the Yorkist English King was now determined to replace him with Sir John Tiptoft the English Earl of Worcester, who was previously Edward 1V's Treasurer in England, who was also known as “Butcher” Tiptoft because of all the Lancasters he had previously executed.

Conflict broke out in the kingdom of Machaire Connacht again, against Felim Finn O Connor who was the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Siol Muireadhach / Sil Murray Ui Conchobhair King of Connacht who retreated to the Curlieus Mountains in the north - west of the Connacht Province to the protection of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Chieftain, The Mac Dermot from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai MacDiarmada Sept.

Aed O Kelly, the son of Brian O Kelly, died, and Aed O Kelly, the son of William O Kelly, was to succeed him as the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Maine King.

Mac William Burke from the Anglo - Norman Clan Rickarde, and the Heberian Dal gCais Ui Bloid Ui Turlough Siol mBriain Sept who were descended from Turlough O Brian, defeated the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine O Kellys and the Anglo - Norman Clan William Burkes of Co. Mayo in the mid - west of the Connacht Province and William Caech Mac William Burke, the son of Mac William Burke, and 2 of O Kelly's sons were killed in the conflict along with many of the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill O Donnells, but despite this The O Donnell was able to come into Connacht later and force the Mac William Burkes from the Clan Rickarde to make peace.

Donnell O Connor, the son of Teague O Connor, became the new Heremonian Dal Cuinn Cenel Conaill King by courtesy of The O Donnell who was opposed, and The O Donnell crossed the River Erne with his men and wasted Lower Connacht and Ulick Burke, the son of Ulick - the Festive, from the  Anglo - Norman Upper Mac William side of the family and The O Conor Don went to rescue those in the Lower Connacht and burnt the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Breifne O Rourkes stronghold in their kingdom of West Breifne in Co. Leitrim there in the Connacht Rovince and The O Donnell was to hand over Bundrowes Castle to the family of Murtough O Connor. Richard Burke the Anglo - Norman Baron went into the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Mac Diarmada kingdom of Moylurg in Connacht where he and Mac Dermot sought out The O Donnell but he had already gone north across the River Erne, so Richard Burke then attacked the territory in Machaire Connacht taking the sons of The O Conor Roe / Ruadh as hostages, and also besieged Felim O Connor's followers, but he could not gain any hostages there. Felim Finn O Connor the previous Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ui Conchobhair King of Connacht raided The O Connor Don taking booty that he had previously carried back into Moylurg, and also besieged the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine descendents of Felim Clerech O Beirne from the Muintir Birn who had their territory at Iomaire Uarain where he also came up against Richard Burke and many were to be killed once again on both sides.
