                                                                                                                                       "American Forces In The 6 Counties." 

1942 AD  Liam Cosgrave from Dublin, the son of William T. Cosgrave the former Cuman na nGaedhal Prime Minister of the Irish Free State, was to be the T.D. for Dublin in the Dail Eireann / Irish Assembly until 1981.   

     James Lyons, a Special Policeman was "killed."

    Anthony Deery, because of his commitment to the cause of "reuniting" the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province, had been acting as the radio operator for Captain Goertz the German agent, and his involvement in this was discovered and he was sentenced to 10 years "imprisonment."

January 26th: 4,000 "American" troops were landed in the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province by the British Imperial Government, and Eamonn de Valera the Prime Minister of Ireland was not consulted, by either "America" or "Great Britain," before taking this decision, and he came out and once again claimed "overeignty" over the "whole" of Ireland / 32 Counties including these 6 Counties, there also, and that they had no "official" sanction to be there, and there would be no Americans in Eire.

February: The German Embassy, sent a "radio" message on the weather conditions prevailing off the coast of Ireland to German shipping, which was picked up by the Irish Government Intelligence and they were then "informed" not to send anymore.

      The Irish Government decided to "charge" the 4 "Anti - Treaty IRA" members involved in the previous murder of Michael Devereux, including the 2 witnesses who reneged, and of these 4 Michael Walsh, George Plant and Patrick Davern were sentenced to "death" for his murder.

February 28th: Guenther Schuetz, the German agent, made his escape from Mountjoy Prison in Dublin, and was later "assisted" by the O Hanlons, who contacted Caitlin Brugha on his behalf, and she organized for him to be billeted at Blackrock to the south of Dublin, then put him up at her own home at Rathmines and informed him that Captain Hermann Goertz / Mr. Robinson the main German agent, had been "arrested," an word was sent to the "Anti - Treaty IRA" in the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province of his whereabouts, and 3 of them came to see him, including Hugh Mac Ateer the new "Anti - Treaty IRA" Chief of Staff there.

March 17th: George Plant, was "executed" in the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province still under the control of the British Imperial Government and the "Official " Unionist Stormont Government.

March 25th: The "Anti - Treaty IRA," at this time produced their own newspaper the "Republican News," and they were now under the control of Hugh Mac Ateer their new Chief of Staff there in the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province, and with Mac Namee in the Connacht Province, Sean Mac Cool in the Munster Province, and Frank Driver in the Leinster Province they decided to conduct an "Anti - Treaty IRA "campaign in these 6 Counties in Ulster Province to try and remove the British Imperial Government and their "artificial partition" of Ireland, but Mac Namee and Sean Mac Cool were "arrested" in the 26 Counties and put in prison by the Eire Government.

April 4th: The "first" policeman to be "shot" in 10 years was Thomas Forbes at Dungannon in Co. Tyrone in Central Southern Ulster, one of the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties there and still under British Imperial Government rule.

April 5th: Constable Patrick Murphy was shot "dead."

    5 Royal Ulster constables and one "B Special" constable were "killed" in Belfast in Co. Antrim in the north - east of the Ulster Province, another of the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province, while 3 of the "Anti - Treaty IRA" members were also "killed," and 6 members of the "Anti - Treaty IRA" who were all under 19 years of age were "arrested" and sentenced to death and 207,000 signatures were collected for a reprieve, and pressure was bought to bear from "many sources," with the proposition that should 6 be "killed" for one, the Fianna Fail Government in Ireland / Eire would not be able to control the Irish population.

April 30th: A raid on Caitlin Brugha's home, looking for someone else, bought about the "recapture" of Guenther Schuetz the German agent, who was taken by surprise as he was preparing to leave Ireland to return to Germany, and in his possession they found documents relating to Stephen Hayes' confessions in German, and his connection with the other German agent, Captain Goertz  / Mr. Robinson, and he eventually ended up back in Mountjoy Jail and Charles Mac Guinness and the 3 "Anti - Treaty IRA" members who were to act as his boat crew were also "arrested" on the same day.

June: Charles Mac Guinness, who acted as a reserve in the Irish Navy, who had been teed up to take Guenther Schuetz to France, received a term of  7 years "imprisonment," and the 10 German "agents" held in prison by the Irish Government, were removed to Custom Barracks at Athlone in Co. Westmeath in the south- west of Northern Leinster.

September 1st: A large catch of "Anti - Treaty IRA" arms and ammunition was discovered at a farm house near Belfast in Co. Antrim in the north - east of the Ulster Province, and Winston Churchill the British Imperial National Coalition Prime Minister, said he would not stop the "execution" of Thomas Williams as had been requested by Eammon de Valera.

September 2nd: One of the 6 youths, Thomas Williams from the "Anti - Treaty IRA's" Belfast Brigade, who had been sentenced to "death" by the "Official" Unionist Stormont Government was "hung" at Belfast in Co. Antrim in the north - east of the Ulster Province, while the other 5 were "reprieved", and the "Anti - Treaty IRA" members there went berserk.  

September 4th: Gerry O Callaghan, was shot "dead" by the "Official" Unionst Government's R.U.C police, in the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province and still under the control of the Stormont Government, which created demonstrations in Dublin in Eire, and a further RUC 2 policemen were also then "killed" there in Co. Tyrone in  Central Southern Ulster Province followed by "bombings" and "shootings," and a curfew was introduced.

September 9th: Det. Sgt. Denis O Brien was shot "dead" in the 26 Counties in Eire.

September 10th: The "Anti - Treaty IRA's" Northern Command under Hugh Mac Ateer their Chief of Staff, in the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province, was "raided.

November: Det. Officer Mordant, was "killed" in Dublin in Eire and Maurice O Neill was to be "executed" for it.

December 1st: Charles Kering, from Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province, was "executed" for the "killing" of Det. Sgt. Denis O Brien.

      Dr. John Charles Mac Quaid, became the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin and Primate of Ireland, who had just arrived back from living in Rome, and was to have a "great influence" on the Irish population for the next 31 years.

      In the 6 Counties "artificially partitioned" from the 9 Counties in the Ulster Province, that were still under the control of the British Imperial Government and the "Official" Unionist Stormont Government, Sir Basil Brooke / Lord Brookeborough of Colebrook became their "new" Ascendancy Prime Minister there who had previously advised those in the these 6 Counties not to employ Irish Catholcs..

    Gerald O Donavan (1871 - 1942), who had been the priest at Loughrea in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht, died this year, who had worked with Edward Martyn and A.E. in the Irish Agricultural Society and left the priesthood.
