622 AD  St. Lachtine, who was of aristocratic Gaelic Milesian descent and considered the protector of the men in the Munster Province, founded a church at Achadh Ur (Fresh Field) now known as Freshford in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster situated between the Slieve Ardagh Hills and the valley of the River Nore, which would be replaced in the 12th Century AD and is still in existence today, with his Holy Well nearby, which was to be held in great esteem up until more modern times, and his Shrine from that later date can also be seen in the National Museum in Dublin.

      97.Colman the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Fiachrach Aidhne 11th King of Connacht was killed in a battle at Cambo / Cenn Buga near Roscommon in Co. Roscommon in the east of the Connacht Province by 98.Reilly / Raghallach, the son of 97.Uatau the previous Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 9th King of Connacht descended from 90.Brion who had been the first Dal Cuinn King of Connacht and the the direct male line ancestor of all of the Ui Briuin Septs in Connacht and one of the 5 sons of *89.Eochy / Eochaidh Mugmedon the previous Gaelic Milesian 124th King of Tara / Ireland. 97.Colman's father, 96.Coffey / Cobthach, had been a son of 95.Gabhran / Goibnenn, whose father, 94.Conall was a son of 93.Eogan Aidhne, the son of 92.Eochy / Echu Breac the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Fiachrach Aidhne Sept descended initially from 90.Fiachra the second Dal Cuinn King of Connacht. 90.Fiachra was the direct male line ancestor of the "southern" and "northern"  Ui Fiachrach Septs and had also been a brother to 90.Brion and a son of *89.Eochy Mugmedon. 97.Colman was to leave behind 2 sons, 98.Lynch / Laidgnen / Loingsech who would become the future 13th King of Connacht, while his other son, 98.Guaire - the Elegant Aidhne would be a real standout after he was to become the future 14th King of Connacht and bring the Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Fiachrach Aidhne Sept to their greatest heights in Connacht becoming also the direct male line ancestor of the Cineal Guarie.

      98.Reilly / Raghallach mac Uatach became the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 12th King of Connacht after he killed his own brother, and would also become the direct male line ancestor of all of the 4 expanding Ui Briuin Ai Septs in the future in the Connacht Province down to 115.*Rory O Connor who would be the second from the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai Sept, after his father *114.       The Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Septs besieged the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig / Cinnsellagh territory in Southern Leinster, which was now under the control of 100.Crundamael Bolg Luatha who was a Ui Cheinnselaig Prince / Tanaiste who was to be the 18th Ui Cheinnselaig King who would become the future Cu Corb 9a King of Leinster.

    The Battle of Cenn Deilgthen in which Conall the son of Sweeney / Suibhne was the victor, and 2 of the sons of Libren, the son of Illand, the son of Cerball / Carroll, were killed. Conaing the son of Aedan was drowned. Mael Mrachodred, the son of Rimid, the son of Colman, the son of Cobhthach and of Ailill, son of Kelly / Cellach. The Battle of Lindas also occurred. Caeman of Glenn da Locha, died.

    The Battle of Cenn  Bag in which Colman the son of Cobhthach was killed. Ailill the son of Cellach was killed. Colgu son of Cellach / Kelly, died.

623 AD *95.Suibhne Mend / Suibhne Meann the Gaelic Milesian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain 10th King of Aileach and the 145th King of Ireland, was killed at Traigh Brenna by 97.Congal Claen the Gaelic Milesian Irian Dal nAraidi 11th King of Ulaid. He had been a son of 94.Fiachnae, a son of 93.Feradach, who had been another brother to *93.Murtough mac Ercae the Gaelic Milesian 131st King of Ireland, and another son of 92.Murtough / Muirchertach the previous 2nd King of Aileach in Northern Ulster, the son of 91.Eogan the 1st King of Aileach, one of the 8 sons of *90.Niall - of the Nine Hostages the previous Gaelic Milesian 126th King of Ireland ancestor of the Ui Niaill Septs. This would see the end of his particular male line to the Kingship as their first and only King of Ireland.

     Raith Guala was besieged by 95.Fiachra the son of 94.Baetan. Irelle of Bamborough.

624 AD 99.Ronan Righfhlaith the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory, died, who was a son of 98.Colman Mor the previous King of Ossory, and  Scandlan Mor who was a son of Kennelly / Cenn Faelad became the new King of Ossory until 640 AD, who had his territory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster. 

     Colman the son of Stiallan, died, and Dor the son of Aed Allan was killed. Adomnan the future Abbot of I was born.

    The Battle of Both in which *95.Sweeney / Suibhne Menn, the Gaelic Milesian 145th King of Ireland was the victor, and *Donnell the son of *Aed escaped. in Taerr Breni by Congal Caech the son of Scanlan. Colum the son of Bairdene the Abbot of Cluain, died. Cuimmine the son of Colman was killed. Laigni was devastated by *96.Donnell mac Aedo the son of *95.Aed mac Ainmerech the previous 140th King of Ireland a son of *94.Ainmire the previous 138th King of Ireland.

624 - 639 AD *96.Donnell / Domhnall mac Aedo was to be the Gaelic Milesian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill 146th King of Ireland, who was another son of *95.Aed mac Ainmerech the previous Gaelic Milesian 140th King of Ireland, and was also a brother to *96.Mael Cobo the previous Gaelic Milesias  144th King of Ireland. who had also been a son of *95.Aed mac Ainmerech, and he carried out many raids throughout the Leinster Province to express his new gained overall authority also there. 

625 AD Aedan the son of Cumascach, and Colman the son of Comgallan, died, and Ronan the son of Toole / Tuathal, the King of Ind Airthir and Mongan the son of Fiachna of Lurga, died.  Maedoc of Ferna also died.   

626 AD 95.Fiachnae Lurgan the Gaelic Milesian Irian Dal nAraidi 9th King of Ulaid, was killed in the Battle of Lethed / Leithert Midinn at Drung in Co. Cavan in Southern Ulster by 94.Fiachnae mac Demmain the Heremonian Dal Fiatach King, and 95.Fiachnae Lurgan was to be the father of 96.Scandal Sciathlethan whose son, 97.Congal Claen was to be the Dal nAraidi 8th King who would become the future 11th King of Ulaid in the north - east of the Ulster Province. Despite this it would be through his other son, 96.Eochy / Eochaidh Iarlaithe that his particular Dal nAraidi male line would continue on down to 972 AD when 104.Aed, who would then be the Dal nAraidi 37th King and the 44th King of Ulaid, would see out the end of their male line to the Kingship of Ulaid altogether. 95.Fiachnae Lurgan had been the son of 94.Baetan the Dal nAraide 5th King descended from 90.Crond Ba Drui one of the ancestors of the Irian Dal nAraidi Sept descended from *62.Rory Mor - the Greater the Gaelic Milesian 86th King of Tara / Erinn and 37.Ir.

 627 AD  St. Molua / Lughaidh at this time was a monk from the Heberian Eoghanacht Ui Fidgeinte Sept who had their territory in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of the Munster Province.

       The Bishop of Fursa had a vision, and St. Gall was in Luxeuil as the Abbot.

      94.Fiachnae mac Demmain the Heremonian Dal Fiatach 10th King of Ulaid in the north - east of the Ulster Province, was killed in the Battle of Ard Corrain won by Connadh Cerr and the Heremonian "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Scottii Dal Riada Sept there. He had been a son of 93.Demman the previous 6th King of Ulaid who was a descendant of 91.Muiredach Muinderg the initial 1st King of Ulaid, one of the 2 sons of 90.Fogg mac Dallain one of the male line ancestors of the Dal Fiatach Sept there. 2 of his sons were to carry his male line forward, in 95.Dunchad who would become the 12th King of Ulaid, and 95.Mael Cobo who would not only become the 13th King of Ulaid,but the direct male line ancestor then of all of the subsequent Heremonian Dal Fiatach Kings of Ulaid.

       97.Congal Claen / Caech (half - blind / squinty) became the Gaelic Milesian Irian Dal nAraidi 11th King of Ulaid in the north - east of the Ulster Province, who was a son of 96.Scandal Sciathlethan, the son of 95.Fiachnae Lurgan the previous 9th King of Ulaid, descended from *91.Coelub / Caelbhadh the Gaelic Milesian 123rd King of Ireland who had been a son of 90.Crond Ba Drui one of the male line ancestors of the Irian Dal nAraidi Sept descended from *62.Rory Mor - the Greater who had been the Gaelic Milesian 86th King of Tara / Erinn and 37.Ir. 97.Congal Claen had been previously stung by a bee while *93.Donnell / Domhnall mac Aedo from the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill was fostering him at Tara in Co. 627 / 628 AD 96.Cathal the Heberian Eoghanacht Glendamnach 10th King of Cashel / Munster, died, who was a son of 95.Aed Fland Cathrach, a brother to 95.Felim / Feidhlim the previous 8th King of Cashel / Munster who both had been sons of 94.Cairbre / Coirpre Cromm the 6th King of Cashel / Munster, a son of 93.Criffan / Crimthann Srem Feimin the 5th King of Cashel / Munster who is the direct male line ancestor of the Eoghanacht Glendamnach Sept, who was descended from 91.Angus / Oengus mac Nad Froich the Chaisil 3rd King of Cashel / Munster. His particular male line from 89.Conall Corc was to continue on in the Kingship until 821 AD when 101.Toole / Tuathal the 21a King of Cashel / Munster was to be the last from their male line.

     95.Failbhe Flann - of Blood Red Complexion became the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil 11th King of Cashel / Munster at Cashel in Co. Tipperary, who was a brother to 95.Fingen who had been the previous 9th King of Cashel / Munster, as both were sons of 94.Aed Dubh - of Dark Complexion, a son of 93.Criffan / Crimthann, a son of 92.Felim / Fedelmid the 4a King of Cashel /' Munster descended from 89.Conall Corc the 1st King of Cashel / Munster descended from 85.Eoghan Mor the oldest son of 84.Ailill Oluimm the 1st King of Munster.  The Heberian Dal gCais Septs continued on with their expansion into the east of Co. Clare in the north - west of the Munster Province after the Battle at Cahernarry / Carn Fearadhaigh in Co. Limerick in the mid - north - west of Munster, in which Failbhe Fland - the Red of Feimin was the victor and 98.Guaire Aidne from the "southern" Dal Cuinn Ui Fiachrach Aidhne Sept was to escape being captured. which was later on to become the border between the "northern" and "southern" branches of the Heremonian Deis Becc Sept. Conall the son of Mael Dub also escaped. but the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch Ui Maine King was killed. Mael Duin, Mael Ruain, Mael Calgaigh, Conall, Mael Dub and Mael Breasal were also all killed who were from the Connacht Province.

      98.Guarie Aidhne the young Prince / Tanaiste from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Fiachrach Aidhne Sept had been involved in the Battle of Carn Fearadhaigh while endeavouring to recover what is now classed as Co. Clare part of the north - west of Munster / Thomond, which in reality was previously part of the territory of Aidhne that was originally under the control of his ancestor 90.Fiachra the ancestor of the Ui Fiachrach Sept in the south of the Connacht Province. This particular battle won by his opposition 95.Failbhe Flann the Heberian Eoghanacht Chaisil 11th King of Cashel / Munster over the men from the Connacht Province, and Conall mac Maile Duib the Dal Cuinn Colla Da Crioch King of the Ui Maine Sept was among those killed, as was Mael Duin, Mael Ruain, Mael Calgaigh and Mael Breasail along with many others. This result also brought about the expansion of the Heberian Dal gCais Sept further into Northern Munster / Thomond and also with the demise of so many Connacht Chiefs allowed 98.Reilly / Raghallach mac Uatach the Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai 12th King of Connacht to gain total overlordship in Connacht.  

      99.Ronan mac Colman the previous Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb 16th Ui Cheinnselaig King who may have been or not been the 8th King of Leinster, died, who was the son of 98.Colman, a son of 97.Cormac, a son of 96.Nathi, the son of 95.Criffan / Criomthann the 1st Ui Cheinnselaig King who had been the 3rd King of Leinster, the son of 94.Enna Cennsalach the 2nd King of Leinster and ancestor of the Ui Cheinnselaig / Cinnsela Sept who had been a grandson of 92.Bressal Belach the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb 1st King of Leinster. Although the Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Septs were growing stronger in Southern Leinster the Cu Corb Ui Cheinnselaig Sept were still hoping to control the central plains there.

      99.Ronan mac Colman Mor who may have been or not been the Ui Dunlainge 8th King of Leinster, died also, who was a son of 98.Colman Mor the previous 6c King of Leinster, a son of 97.Cairbre / Coirpre the 6b King of Leinster whose father was 96.Cormac the 6a King of Leinster, who was a son of 95.Ailill the 6th King of Leinster who had been a brother to 95.Illann the 5th King of Leinster who had been both sons of 94.Dowling / Dunlaing the Heremonian Ui Laoghre Ui Lughaidh Cu Corb Prince / Tanaiste of Leinster and the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Dunlainge Sept descended also from 92.Bressal Belach the 1st King of Leinster through his other son, 93.Enna Nia.  

      98. Criffan / Crimthann became the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Mail 9th King of Leinster, who was a son of 97.Aed Dibchine the previous 6d King of Leinster descended from 90.Maine Mal the direct male line ancestor of the Ui Mail, Ui Theig and Ui Chellaig Cualann Septs who had been a son of 89.Felim / Fedelmid Fer Aurglas a grandson of 87.Nia Corb, one of the 4 sons of 86.Cu Corb who left aristocratic warrior issue.  

     The Battle of Bolg Luatha occurred in which 99.Faelan, the son of 98.Colman Mor the King of Leinster, was the victor. 

 629 AD 97.Congal Claen the Gaelic Milesian Irian Dal nAraidi 11th King of Ulaid defeated the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Scottii King of Dal Riada, but he was then to be defeated by *96.Donnell mac Aedo the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill 146th King of Ireland, the son of *95.Aed mac Ainmerech, at Dun Ceithirn in Co. Derry in the north of the Ulster Province and Dicuil an Irian Dal nAraidi King in the north - east of Ulster, who was a nephew of Kelly / Ceallach the King of Latharna / Larne in Co. Antrim in the north - east of Ulster was to be killed in this battle against the Dal Riada. 97.Congal Claen the Gaelic Milesian Irian Dal nAraidi 11th King of Ulaid took flight and *96.Donnell mac Aedo the Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill 146th King of Ireland, the son of *95.Aed mac Ainmerech, was the victor and Guarie the son of Forannan was killed and Rigullon and Failbhe the grandsons of Aedan fell in this battle.

     Osric mac Albruit the King of the Saxons was also killed in Ireland in a battle this year between the Septs in Dal Riada and the Dal nAraidi Sept. 

      Eochaidh / Eochy Buide the son of Aedan, the King of the Picts, died.

     The Battle of Fideoin in which Mael Caich the son of Scannal the Pictish Cruithin King was the victor and the Septs of Dal Riada fell. Connid Cerr the King of Dal Riada / Riata fell.

630 AD The Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla Kings of Ossory who had their territory in Co. Kilkenny in the south - west of Southern Leinster were to recover their previous position there this year, and the descendants of 87.Angus / Oengus Osrithe were to once again become the aristocratic warrior rulers of the kingdom of Ossory.

     Synods were held at Magh Lena and Magh nAilbe, where there was no Irish King in attendance, to discuss the ongoing problem of changing of the Easter religious dates.      

      The Battle of Leathairbhe occurred between the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Septs who were the descendants of *93.Murtough mac Earca the previous 131st King of Ireland and the descendants of his brother, 93.Feradach, and 96.Mael Fithrigh / Fithrich the 10th King of Aileach from the Cenel nEogain Cenel mac Ercae Sept in the north of the Ulster Province was killed along with the son of *95.Aed Uaridnach the previous Gaelic Milesian 143rd King of Ireland, Ernaine the Cenel Fearadhaigh King, who was a son of Fiachra. 96.Mael Fithrigh's male line was then to be continued on through his son, 97.Mael Duin who would later become the 14th King of Aileach whose son, *98.Fergal mac Maele Duin was to become the Gaelic Milesian 156th King of Ireland, descended from 91.Eogan the 1st King of Aileach.

    The Battle of Mitaine in which Taerr Breni was burnt and 97.Brandub was killed who was a son of *96.Mael Cobo who had been the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conail  146th King of Ireland and another son of *95.Aed mac Ainmerech the previous Gaelic Milesian 140th King of Ireland, and Ernaine the son of Fiachna was to be the victor.
