85.Eoghan Mor - Mac Carthy - 1
85.Eoghan Mor - the Greater was the eldest son of 84.Ailill Oluimm the Scythian Gaelic Milesian Celtic Heberian 1st King of Munster in the 2nd Century AD who was descended initially in Ireland from *37.Eber Fionn - of Fair Complexion who had been the Gaelic Milesian joint 1st King of Erenn who had arrived into Ireland in 1699 BC and died in 1698 BC and became the ancestor of all of the Heberian / hEberian Septs in Ireland.
85.Eoghan Mor's mother was 84.Sadb / Sadhbh / Pro. Sive (sweet) who was one of the daughters of *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Felim 110th King of Tara / Ireland who is the direct ancestor of all of the Dal Cuinn Septs (The People of *83.Conn) who was descended from *37.Eber Fionn's younger brother, *37.Eremon who had also been the Gaelic Milesian joint 1st King of Erenn who became the ancestor of all of the Heremonian / hEremonian Septs.
248 AD 85.Eoghan Mor - the Greater was to be fatally wounded in the Battle of Magh Mucromhra in Co. Galway in Southern Connacht in the west of Ireland along with 6 of his brothers and his maternal uncle, *84.Art Aonfhir - the Lonely the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn 112th King of Tara / Ireland, who was a son of *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles, who was also a brother to his mother, 84.Sadb. 84.Ailill Oluimm's second son, 85.Cormac Cass - of the Curtly Hair would become the Gaelic Milesian Heberian 2nd King of Munster and the 1st King of Tuadh Mhumhain / Thomond / Northern Munster, and the direct male line ancestor of the In Deis Tuaiscirt Sept who would later evolve into the Dal gCais / Dalcassian (The People of 91.Cas) Septs in Thomond / Northern Munster mainly based on Co. Clare.
85.Eoghan Mor's demise was to be due to a dispute with *58.Lewy / Lughaidh mac con - the son of the Hound, who was their older half - brother from 84.Sadb, who was a Gaelic Ithian Lughadian Darinian Ui Luighe Prince / Tanaiste who had his Sept's territory in Co. Cork, who was the son of 57.Marcellin mac Niadh, descended from 36,Lewy / Lughaidh and his father, 35.Ithe the uncle of 36.Mil the father of *37.Eremon the ancestor of the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Septs,*37.Eber Fionn the ancestor of the Gaelic Milesian Heberian Septs and 37.Ir. the ancestor of the Gaelic Milesian Irian Septs. *58.Lewy mac con's mother, 84.Sadb, was the daughter of *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles the previous Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Ui Felim 110th King of Ireland the ancestor of all of the Dal Cuinn Septs in Ireland. *58.Lewy mac conn - the son of the Hound had been fostered by 84.Ailill Oluimm, the father of 85.Eoghan Mor and 85.Cormac Cass who were his younger half - brothers, but he was constantly in dispute over having a turn at the newly created Gaelic Kingship of Munster. After a physical conflict occurred between them, 84.Ailill Oluimm was to finally banish *58.Lewy mac conn to Alba / Scottish Highlands from where he was to return with allies from Albion / Briton and be supported by his Gaelic Ithian Septs and other disaffected Fir Bolg forces in Ireland who were always seeking an opportunity to rally against their Gaelic aristocratic warrior overlords.
This all came about as prior to this all occurring 84.Ailill Oluimm's father, 83.Mogha Nuadhat after defeating *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles in battle had become the undisputed outright Heberian King of Mogha's Half / Leith Mogha / Southern Ireland that then not only took in the territory in the Munster Province, but also the territory in Southern Leinster known as Southern Ireland. Three generations before this conflict was to occur, when the Heberian Septs were led by their ancestor, 80.Dearg Thiene who had at that time decided to share the Gaelic Kingship in Southern Ireland with 56.Daire / Darin who was descended from 35.Ithe and his son 36.Lewy / Lughaidh who were the main direct male line ancestors of the Gaelic Ithian Septs in Co. Cork in Southern Munster and this then set a precedent for *58.Lewy mac con to aim for. *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles was to eventually slay 83.Mogha Nuadhat in battle and gain the overall control in Ireland, and he had then made 83.Mogha's son, 84.Ailill Oluimm the Heberian 1st King of Munster only, who had previously married his widowed daughter, 84.Sadb the mother of the young *58.Lewy mac con. *83.Conn then removed the territory that is now Southern Leinster from Mogha's Half for his own purposes, especially as to the port area now known as Dublin / Dubh Linn / Black Pool in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster, and he joined it to the territory in the Midlands / Midhe in the south of Northern Leinster creating what is now the Leinster Province as a whole. (N.B: Munster Province still at this time did not include the territory in Co. Clare, which was then still part of the territory of Aidhne, which was geographically the southern territory in the Connacht Province situated on the western side of the River Shannon.
248 AD With *58.Lewy mac con's complete success in battle, not only over 84.Ailill Oluimm, but also over his deceased uncle, *84.Art - the Lonely the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn 112th King of Tara / Ireland, whose father was *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles, and who was also *58.Lewy mac conn's maternal grandfather, made *58.Lewy mac conn consider bypassing the Kingship of Munster and instead aim for the very top and he became the Gaelic Ithian 113th King of Tara / Erinn leaving his step - father, 84.Ailill Oluimm in as the Heberian 1st King of Munster, thereby ensuring the survival of the Heberian aristocratic warrior male line there as the future Kings of Munster. *58.Lewy mac con - the son of the Hound was to rule Ireland for 27 years until 275 AD when he would be removed from that position by pressure brought on initially by the young *85.Cormac mac Airt, the son of *84.Art - the Lonely the previous deceased Gaelic Milesian 112th King of Tara / Ireland. Fergus Dubh Deadach - of the Black Tooth was to eventually kill *58.Lewy mac con and become the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh Dal Fiatach 114th King of Tara / Ireland, who was a son of Imchad, but he would only rule for one year.as he was to be killed in the Battle of Crinna in the Midlands / Meath / Midhe in the south of Northern Leinster by Lewy / Lughaidh Lagha, who was standing up for the rights of the new Heremonian Dal Cuinn Tanaiste / heir - apparent, *85.Cormac mac Airt, the son of *84.Art - the Lonely, who then became the the Gaelic Milesian 115th King of Tara / Ireland, who also later became the 1st Christian King of Ireland.
In ancient times Ireland had originally been divided into 5 Provinces / Cuigi / Coigeadh / pro. coogu by the Scythian Celtic - Teutonic Nemedian Fir Bolg Septs, when they were in control of Ireland, and similarly maintained as such under the Scythian Celtic Nemedian Tuatha De Danann Septs when they later gained control over Ireland also, and later on Ireland was also to be divided into 25 parts by *60.Ugaine Mor - the Greater, who was then to be the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian 66th King of Erenn from 634 BC - 594 BC, among his 25 children, and then it was later still reduced to 4 Provinces under *75.Eochy Feidlioch the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian 94th King of Tara / Erinn who ruled from 143 BC - 131 BC (1) Sreng's Fifth / Connacht Province (2) Leinster Province (3) Munster Province, which was previously also in 2 parts, and (4) Ulster Province.
In 76 AD under the ever growing importance and strength of the Heremonian Septs the 4 Provinces were then to be returned to 5 under *81.Toole / Tuathal Teachtmhar - the Legitimate, who was at that time to be the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Ui Cobhthaigh 106th King of Tara / Ireland, when he was to re - create 5 Provinces once again, by taking a central portion of the existing 4 Provinces surrounding the intended fifth, creating the Midland / Midhe / Meath Province / Northern Leinster, but later still under his grandson. *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles, Ireland was to be reduced once more to 4 Provinces.
(1) Sreng's Fifth / Connacht Province (The People of *83.Conn), named for *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles the Gaelic Milesian 110th King of Tara / Ireland when in 167 AD situated to the west of the River Shannon gained this new title.
(2) Leinster Province (The Land of the Laigin) pro. Lin / or Spear People made up of the territory in Southern Leinster situated in the south - east of Ireland and to the east of the River Shannon down to the Munster Province and up to Co. Dublin. Southern Leinster, was combined with Northern Leinster / Midland Province / Midhe / Meath above Co. Dublin up to Co. Louth and across to Co. Longford below the Ulster Province under *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles also, creating the Leinster Province as a whole.
(3) Munster Province (Land of the People of Eochaidh Mumu / Mhumhain) situated in the south of Ireland below Southern Leinster, when it was separated from Southern Leinster in 84.Mogha's Half by *83.Conn - of the Hundred Battles.
(4) Ulster Province (The Land of the Ulaid) was originally based in the north - east of Ireland, but now takes in the region in the north - west from Co. Donegal down to Co. Longford in the south - west, and from Co. Antrim in the north - east down to Co. Louth in the south - east.
The new reduced divided territory of the Mhumhain Septs, in Mogha's Half / Eber's Half the previous territory of the Gaelic Milesian Heberian descendents, of the 2 oldest sons of 84.Ailill Oluimm the 1st King of Munster, (85.Eoghan Mor and 85.Cormac Cass) in the south of Ireland, now known as the Munster Province, was also later to be divided into 4 regions, (1) Northern Munster, (2) Southern Munster, (3) Eastern Munster and (4) Western Munster. These 4 distinct Heberian territories were to then contain the 2 main Heberian Clanns descended from 84.Ailill Oluimm the 1st King of Munster, and *37.Eber Fionn - of Fair Complexion who had been initially the joint Heberian 1st King of Tara / Erinn. The most predominant of these was to eventually be the Eoghanachta Septs of Des Mhumhain / Desmuma / Desmond / Southern Munster who were descended from 85.Eoghan Mor, with the Heberian Eoghanacht Mac Carthy Sept in the final days of their Gaelic Milesian heritage, due to the constant English oppression and confiscation, becoming the most predominant Eoghanacht family in this region. The other main Clann was that of the Thuadh Muma / Thomond / Northern Munster, the territory of the Heberian Dal gCais / Dalcassian Septs who were descended from his younger brother, 85.Cormac Cass - of the Curley Hair and of these Septs the O Brians / O Briens / Ui mBriain were to also become the most predominant Family from this Clann in more modern times.
