Armagh in the Ulster Province.

     The first Danish Viking fleet arrived in Ireland from either Denmark or Albion / Briton and attacked the Norwegian Vikings in their original settlement on the coast in Dublin in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster, and there was now bloody war between these two Scandinavian groups, who the Irish Septs were to call the Dubh Gall (Black Foreigners) and Finn Gall (Fair Foreigners).

853 AD The settlement of Dublin (The Dark Pool) was permanently set up by Olaf / Amhlaibh - the White / Fionn Gall the Viking Norwegian King, which the Vikings were to basically hold onto now for the next 300 years until their Teutonic Scandinavian kinsmen the Anglo - Norman English were to Invade in 1169 AD and Olaf - the White now proclaimed himself the King of Dublin and Waterford / Vaethrford / Vadrefjord, which was another of their Viking settlements situated further down along the east - coast on the River Suir in the south - east of the Munster Province. To further ensure entrench his position Olaf - the White was also able to defeat the Viking Danes / Dubh Gall in a great sea battle.

856 AD 106.Carroll / Cerball the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory also allied with Imhar who was the Chief of the Viking Norse in his region in Southern Leinster, and their combined fighting force was then composed of 6400 warriors, which they used to defeat the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Cenel Fiachach Sept who had their territory nearby in the south - west of Northern Leinster, and their ally the Dano - Irish / Gall Gaedhil of Leath Cuinn at Aradh Tire. 

857 AD 106.Carroll / Cerball the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory and his ally Olaf / Amhlaibh - the White - Imhar this year took a great force into the kingdom of Meath / Midhe in the south - east of Northern Leinster, and also went up against the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Septs there whowere now under the leadership of *103.Malachy Mor 1st / Mael Sechnaill the Gaelic Milesian 167th High King of Ireland 

     102.Matudan the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian UI Cobhthaigh Dal Fiatach 28th King of Ulaid, died, who was a son of 101.Murray / Muireadach the previous 27th King of Ulaid, descended from 95.Mael Cobo the previous 13th King of Ulaid and this was to see the end of his particular male line to the Kingships, that would now be carried forward by his father's brother,101.Aed through his 3 sons and 4 grandsons.  

      101.Lethlobar the Gaelic Milesian Irian 29th Dal nAraidi King also became the 29th King of Ulaid, who was a son of 100.Lynch / Loingsech, a son of 99.Tommaltach the previous 23rd King of Ulaid, descended from 95.Fiachnae Lurgan the 9th King of Ulaid, descended from *91.Coelub who had been the Gaelic Milesian Irian 123rd KIng of Ireland and one of the 2 sons of 90.Crond Ba Drui descended from *62,Rory Mor the Gaelic Milesian  86th King of Tara / Erinn.  

858 AD The Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Niaill Septs invaded and submitted the Munster Province with a great force under *103.Malachy Mor 1st / Mael Sechnaill the Gaelic Milesian "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 167th High King of Ireland, and he was to be the first to also take hostages from his Gaelic kinsmen there in Munster to be on their best behaviour intendingd to send a message to 106.Carroll / Cerball the Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla King of Ossory, who had allied himself with the Vikings there in Mogha's Half in the  south - west of Southern Leinster, who also eventually submitted to him, which then prevented the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Septs who also had their territory there in Southern Leinster from also gaining overall authority there.
