867 AD *102.Aedh Findliath - of the White Hair the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill 168th High King of Ireland this year besieged the Vikings, and they suffered their first defeat on Loch Foyle, and he then marched southward with a relic of the True Cross and defeated them again near Drogheda / Droichead Atha (The Bridge of the Ford) in Co. Waterford in the south - east of the Munster Province, to further expand his own overall authority into Mogha's Half.

      Dalach the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel Conaill Chief, died this year, who is the direct male line ancestor of the Clann Daley who would eventually evolve into the more  dominant Sept of the O Donnells through his grandson Donnell / Domhnall, who had their territory in Tyrconnell / Co. Donegal in the north - west of the Ulster Province.

     106.Dowling / Dunlaing the Heremonian Cu Corb Ui Dunlainge Ui Muireadhaigh 30th King of Leinster, died, whose father was 105.Murray / Muireadach, one of the 2 sons of 104.Bran Ardchenn the previous 21st King of Leinster and his male line was to be carried forward through his son, 107.Ailill who became the 31st King of Leinster.

870 AD Olaf - the White the Norwegian Viking King and Ivar - the Boneless who had carried out raids in Alba / Scotland now returned to Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster, as the Viking Kings of the Northmen, with many of their captives as hostages, which included many Celtic Britons and many Celtic Picts but Olaf - the White was then killed and his Christian Queen, Aud went off to colonise Iceland where the religious reforming sect of the Irish Cul De  (Clients of God) were already set up.
