802 - 839 AD Egbert, a son of Edmund of Kent who was descended originally from Cerdic the founder of the Teutonic Germanic Anglo - Saxon kingdom of Wessex in England. was to rule during this period as the Anglo - Saxon  King of Wessex, who was to eventually become the Bretwalda (Overall Ruler). 

804 AD Charlemagne conquered the Saxons and had them convert to Christianity.

805 / 806 AD The undefended Irish monastic community on the island of Iona involving 68 monks, were massacred by the Teutonic Scandinavian Vikings.

806 AD The Teutonic Scandinavian Vikings attacked Inishmurray Island  / Inis Mhuirigh / Muirioch's Island situated 4 miles off the coast of Co. Sligo in the north - west of the Connacht Province, at  the entrance to Donegal Bay, again, and also besieged Roscam in Co. Galway there.

810 / 811 AD The Celtic Gaelic Milesian Ulaid Septs in Co. Antrim and Co. Down on the east coast of the Ulster Province successfully drove off the Teutonic Scandinavian Vikings.

811 AD Many of the Irish Septs in the kingdom of Connemara in the east of  Co. Galway in the Connacht Province were killed by the Teutonic Vikings this year, while the Irish Septs from the  Munster Province and the Owls in Co. Mayo in the west of Connacht were successful in driving off the Teutonic Viking attackers.

812 AD The Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Umall / O Malleys in Co. Mayo defeated the Vikings in the mid - west of the Connacht Province and the Vikings massacred the Irish in the Owls including the King of the Owls there, while the Heberian Eoghanachta Locha Lien Sept defeated the Teutonic Vikings in Co. Kerry in the south - west of Southern Munster.

816 AD The Culdees / Clients of God who were the Celtic Catholic Church spiritual reforming movement were prevented from becoming priests in Briton.

818 AD The Celtic Catholic Church was finished off in Brittany when the 2nd Holy Roman Emperor Louis 1st - the Pious (814 - 840 AD) gained control and banned all of the Celtic practises and followed the Benedictine order.

819 AD The Teutonic Vikings besieged the Wexford region along the east coast of Co. Wexford in Southern Leinster and set up a trading post.

820 AD The Teutonic Vikings raided Howth in Dublin in the north - east of Co. Dublin in Southern Leinster and many Irish women were taken from there and also St. Finnbarr's Abbey at Cork in Co. Cork in Southern Munster.

      Rhodri Mawr - the Greater was born who was to become the future Celtic King of Gwynedd in Wales, who was a son of  Merfyn Frych the Celtic King of Gwynedd, and Nest ferch Cadell.

822 AD The Teutonic Vikings besiege Bangor monastery in Co. Down on the east coast of the Ulster Province.

823 AD The Teutonic Vikings attack Bangor monastery again and the relics of St. Comghall were disturbed.

824 AD The Teutonic Vikings raid the island of Iona for the third time and besiege Downpatrick in Co. Down on the east coast of the Ulster Province and Moville, and the Irish Septs in Co. Antrim and Co. Down once again were able to slay many of the Viking raiders, who also attacked the Irish Septs in the Leinster Province and the Sceilig monastery situated 8 mile off the coast of Co. Kerry in the south - west of the Munster Province.

      Blamacc, the son of Flann was killed by the Vikings.

825 AD Egbert the Teutonic Germanic Anglo - Saxon King of Wessex in Briton conquered the West Welsh in Cornwall and was also successful in the Battle of Ellendun / Ellandune defeating Beornwulf of Mercia, and Kent was also conquered and the East Saxons also submitted.

     The Teutonic Vikings besiege the St. Mullins / Tigh Moling / St. Moling's House monastery in Carlow in Co. Carlow in Southern Leinster.

826 AD The Teutonic Vikings besieged Lusk and destroyed Derry in the Ulster Province down to Ochta - Ugan, and they also attacked the Leinster Province again, were Conall, the son of Cuchongolt, the Fortuatha King and other men from the Irish Septs there were slain.

      A meeting was held between the Gaelic Milesian Heberian Eoghanachta King of Munster and the Gaelic Milesian Heremonian Dal Cuinn King of Ireland.

827 AD, Egbert the Teutonic Germanic Saxon King of Wessex besieged the Domnanians in Cornwall.

829 AD Egbert the Teutonic Germanic Saxon King of Wessex submitted the Brythonic Northumbrians in Northumbria and conquered Mercia.

830 AD Egbert the Teutonic Germanic Saxon King of Wessex defeated the Celtic Welsh Celts and incorporated the previous individual kingdoms of both Kent and Sussex into Wessex.

831 AD The Teutonic Vikings raid the region around Annagassan in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster.

832 AD The Teutonic Vikings raid Clonmore / Cluain Mhor (Big Meadow) monastery in Co. Carlow in the Southern Leinster.

834 AD The Teutonic Vikings carry out further raids in Briton.

836 AD The Teutonic Vikings carry out their first inland attack against the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill in Co. Meath in the south - east of Northern Leinster and also attacked Dorsetshire in Briton.

837 AD The Teutonic Vikings carry out more raids in Ireland with 60 Viking ships on the River Liffey and the River Boyne in the north - east of Southern Leinster.

838 AD The Teutonic Vikings under Thorgils, after desolating much of Ireland, captured Dublin.

     Egbert the King of Wessex defeated the combined forces of Teutonic Vikings and the West Welsh.

839 AD The Scythian Gaelic Picts were fighting the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Scottii Septs who were under 95.Alpin, who was descended from 88.Gabhran, and both were attacked by the Teutonic Vikings and 95.Alpin was killed  and his son, 96.Kenneth 1st mac Alpin / Cinaed mac Ailpin became the Scythian Gaelic Milesian Heremonian King of Dal Riada / Argyll (Land of the Gael) in the Highlands of Scotland and in the other great battle between the Scythian Gaelic Picts and the Teutonic Vikings, Uen / Eogan the King of the Scythian Gaelic Picts and many of his aristocratic warrior kinsmen were also killed, and Drust X eventually became the King of the Picts.

     The Teutonic Vikings carry out more raids in Ireland with attacks at Ferns in Co. Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster and at Cork in Co. Cork in Southern Munster. 

839 - 858 AD Ethelwulf the Teutonic Germanic Anglo - Saxon King of Wessex and Briton, who ruled during this period, was the son of Egbert, and was married to Osburga and they produced 5 sons and a  daughterand he was to take on the Teutonic Viking raiders for the first time there and was able to defeat them at Surrey and he then gave over the new territories to his son, Athelstan to act as a sub - king there. As Ethelwulf was very religious he made a pilgrimage to Rome with his younger 4 year old son, who was to become Alfred - the Great, and they had a meeting with Pope Benedict 111 there and on his return he was to learn that his second oldest son, Athelstan had died and he then married Judith the 12 year old daughter of Charles - the Bald the great - grand daughter of Charlemagne and decreed that all of his surviving sons in turn would rule after him.

841 AD 96.Kenneth mac Alpin the Celtic Heremonian Dal Cuinn Scottii King of Dal Riada / Argyll (The Land of the Gael) / Albany defeated the Scythian Gaelic Picts.

     Turgesius the Teutonic Scandinavian Viking King with a large fleet took over Dublin in Co. Dublin in the north - east of Southern Leinster and set up their first settlement in Ireland, and the Tetonic Vikings erected a longfort at Linn Duachaill near Annagassan in Co. 842 AD Saw the first recorded alliance of an Irish Sept and the Teutonic Vikings.

    Turgesius the Teutonic Scandinavian Viking King was defeated and drowned in Loch Nair in the Ulster Province by Malachy 1st the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 174th first High King of Ireland.

845 AD Forannan the Abbot of Armagh monastery in the south - east of the Ulster Province was taken hostage by the Teutonic Vikings in the Munster Province, while the Vikings also had a victory further inland at Dunamase / Dun Masc / Mac's Fort in Co. Laois in the mid - north west of Southern Leinster.

        Malachy 1st the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain King of Meath and 174th High King of Ireland defeated and killed Thorgils the Teutonic Scandinavian Viking King in the north of Ireland.

      The Bretons defeated Charles - the Bald the King of France.  

846 AD The Teutonic Vikings create a settlement on the islands at Cork in Co. Cork in Southern Munster and are defeated in Somerset in Briton.

848 AD Malachy 1st / Mael Seachlann the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "southern" Ui Niaill Clann Cholmain 174th High King of Ireland defeated the Teutonic Vikings at Skryne who had come out of Dublin.

     Olchobur the Heberian Eoghanacht King of Cashel / Munster besieged the Teutonic Vikings at Cork in Co. Cork in Southern Munster.

850 AD The Teutonic Vikings settled into Waterford / Vedrafjord in Co. Waterford on the coast in the south - east of the Munster Province.

851 AD The Teutonic Viking Finn Gall / Norwegians and the Dubh Gall / Danish came into conflict at Dundalk / Dun Dealgan (The Fort of Delga) in Co. Louth (The Plain of Muirthemne) in the north - east of Northern Leinster.  

     John Scotus (Erigena) an Irish theologian was in the court of Charles - the Bald the King of France and the Bretons defeated Charles - the Bald, again.

    The Teutonic Vikings under Roric attack and burn Canterbury and plunder London in Briton and Ethelwulf the Teutonic Germanic Saxon King of Wessex drives the Teutonic Scandinavian Vikings off.

852 AD The Teutonic Vikings devastated Armagh monastery in Co. Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province from out of their camp to the south at Annagassan in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster.

853 AD Olaf - the White of Norway the Teutonic Norwegian Viking King defeated the Teutonic Viking Danes in a sea battle, and the Vikings land in Thanet.

854 AD Cyngen the Celtic King of Powys in Wales, died, and the kingdom was combined with the kingdom of Gwynedd in North Wales and the Teutonic Vikings attacked Anglesey, the granary of north Wales, situated in Gwynedd where Rhodri Mawr - the Greater was now the Celtic King who had also became the King of Powys after his uncle, and he defeated them, and their Danish Chieftain was slain, which was their first reversal in Albion / Briton and there were to be no Scandinavian settlements in Wales. 

855 AD 96.Kenneth mac Alpin as the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Scottii King of Albany / Scotland was by now well in control of all of the northern territory in the Highlands of Scotland that was not under the control of the Teutonic Vikings who still continued to attack both the Gaelic Scottii and the Gaelic Picts, giving them a common enemy and forcing them to combine even further.

     After the Teutonic Germanic Anglo - Saxons in Mercia and Wessex combined, a campaign was carried out by them into Wales were they were supported by kingdoms in the south, which the Welsh resisted under Rhodri Mawr the Celtic King of Gwynedd.   

856 AD Rhodri Mawr - the Greater, the Celtic Welsh King of Gwynedd and Powys in Wales, defeated the Teutonic Scandinavain Danes killing their King Gorm  / Horn, which made him famous, and he then ruled from Anglesey to the Gower Peninsula.

858 AD February: 96.Kenneth mac Alpin the Heremonian Scottii Gaelic Milesian King of Albany / Scotland, died at Cinnbelachoir in Perthshire, and was interred on the holy island of Iona of the "Kindred of the St. Columbcille" between Ireland and the Highlands of Scotland and he was to be succeeded by his younger brother, 96.Donnell mac Alpin / Domhnall mac Ailpin / Donald 1st who introduced the Laws of Aedh that still included Gaelic Celtic Tanistry / Tanaiste involving a pre - elected responsible heir apparent, which would still be continued on for the next 150 years.  

858 AD Ethelwulf the Teutonic Germanic Anglo - Saxon King of Wessex and Briton, died, and his oldest surviving son, Ethelbald was to rule until 860 AD, and initially also marry the now 16 year old Judith, which upset Charles - the Bald and everyone else and the marriage was annulled.

860 AD Ethelburt of Wessex the third son of Ethelwulf, became the Teutonic Germanic Saxon King of Wessex and Briton and was to rule until 865 AD, and he had 2 sons, Adhelm who was to be killed by the Teutonic Vikings, and Ethelward who was to be killed in the Dane Law in 900 AD.

    The Heremonian Ui Laoghaire Ui Connla inland kingdom of Ossory in the south - west of Southern Leinster was attacked by the Teutonic Vikings from out of their settlement on the coast at Wexford in Co, Wexford in the south - east of Southern Leinster.

    Donald 1st mac Ailpin became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Scottii King of Scotland / Albany.

   The Teutonic Vikings under Weland capture Winchester the capital of Wessex, but were then defeated.

862 AD 96.Donald 1st / Domhnall mac Ailpin the Heremonian Scottii Gaelic King of Alba / Scotland was assassinated, and died also at Cinnbelachoir in Perthshire, and his body was also interred on the holy island of Iona of the "Kindred of 94.St. Columbcille" and he was succeeded by his nephew, 97.Constantine 1st /  Caustantin mac Cinaeda, the son of 96.Kenneth mac Alpin. who also succeeded in defeating the Teutonic Vikings under Olaf -  the White / Amlaith Conung and Thorsten the Red, and his rival in the south at this time was Artgal the Celtic Brythonic King of Strathclyde.

864 AD The Heremonian Ui Felim Deisi Sept destroyed the Teutonic Scandinavian Viking fort in Waterford along the coast of Co. Wexford in the south - east of the Munster Province.

865 / 866 AD Ethelred 1st of Wessex the next surviving son of Ethelwulf, became the Teutonic Germanic Saxon King of Wessex and Briton until 871 AD.

866 AD Aed Fionn Liath from the Heremonian Dal Cuinn "northern" Ui Niaill Cenel nEogain Sept cleared the north coast of Ireland of the Teutonic Viking bases.  

     A great force of Vikings under Ingwar and Hubba arrive into East Anglia in Briton.

867 AD The Teutonic Vikings capture York in Briton and the Northumbrian kingdom was overthrown and Scotland was ravaged by the Tuetonic Vikings from Ireland who were led by Olaf - the White the Viking King in Dublin.

869 AD Conor the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Ui Briuin Ai King of Connacht defeated the Teutonic Norwegian Vikings near Drogheda / Droiched Atha (The Bridge of the Ford) Inver Colpa - the ancient Port of Colpa, situated  4 miles from the River Boyne in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster.

870 AD The Teutonic Vikings from Northumbria invade East Anglia and St. Edmund the Anglo - Saxon King of East Anglia was killed in battle. 

871 AD The Teutonic Vikings invaded Wessex and it was to now to be up to Alfred - the Great the pious Anglo - Saxon King of Wessex at 21 years of age, who had been educated in Ireland, to come up against the fury of the Viking Danes and their intention to do away with the kingdom of Wessex altogether, and he was defeated, and the Vikings set up in London during the Winter and Olaf - the White who was over from Dublin invaded Strathclyde in Briton and captured Dumbarton.

872 AD Artgal the Celtic Brythonic King of Strathclyde was killed by the Teutonic Scandinavian Vikings, and 97.Constantine 1st the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Scottii King of Albany put his brother in - law on the throne there making Strathclyde now a subordinate kingdom of Alba / Scotland.

     Rhodri Mawr - the Greater, the King of Gwynedd and Powys in Wales, inherited the territory in Seisyllwg after his wife Angharad's brother, Gwgon was drowned this year. and this now allowed him to rule in the majority of Wales.

874 AD The Teutonic Scandinavian Vikings conquered Mercia in Briton from the Teutonic Germanic Anglo - Saxons.

875 AD Harald Haarfager the Teutonic Viking King of Norway set up the Earldom of the Orkneys in Scotland and Thorstein - the Red, the son of Olaf - the White, conquered a large part of Scotland also, and the Teutonic Germanic Saxon kingdom of Wessex was attacked by the Vikings again.

876 AD Rhodri Mawr - the Greater the Welsh King was defeated by the Tuetonic Danes at Anglesey, and he fled for safety to Ireland, but was to return to Wales during the next year, but his sons, Anarawd the King of Gwynedd and Powys, and Cadell the King of Seisyllwg would eventually submit to Alfred - the Great the Tuetonic Germanic Anglo - Saxon King of Wessex in Albion / Briton.

877 AD The Tuetonic Scandinavian Vikings returned from Dublin in Ireland, and from Yorkshire in Ablion / Briton, and landed in Fife in Alba / Scotland where they set up a settlement to raid the eastern seaboard there and divided up the Tuetonic Germanic Saxon kingdom of Mercia.

      97.Constantine 1st the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Scottii King of Alba / Scotland took on the Tuetonic Vikings at Inverdoval in the north - east there in the Battle of Dollar and was defeated, and in the Battle of Forgan he was to be killed and his body was also interred on the holy island of Iona of the "Kindred of 94.St. Columbcille." 97.Aed became the new Heremonian Scottii King of Albany / Scotland.

878 AD The Tuetonic Scandinavian Danish Vikings under Guthrum attacked Wessex and in the Battle of Ethandun they were to be defeated, and Alfred - the Great was then to make  the Treaty of Wedmore with them due to his strong religious convictions and Guthrum, the Viking Danish King, then became a Christian also, and Alfred the Great then divided England up with the Danes, who took the territory to the east and north known as the Dane Law, while Alfred - the Great became known as the first overall Tuetonix Germanic King of Briton.

      Eochy / Eochaidh and Giric were now to take over overall control in Albany / Scotland until 98.Donnell mac Constantine / Domhnall mac Caustantin, the son of 97.Constantine 1st, killed Giric at Dundurn near St. Fillans, and also exiled Eochy / Eochaidh to Gwynned in Wales. At this time Sigurd - the Mighty was the Tuetonic Scasndinavian Viking King in the north of Scotland.

878 / 79 Rhodri Mawr - the Greater who had been the nearest to a Welsh King that their Celtic Culture would allow, died, and his direct male line from now on would become the most envied in Wales.

879 AD The Tuetonic Scandinavian Vikings attacked Armagh monastery again in Co. Armagh in the south - east of the Ulster Province from out of Carlingford / Cairlinn in Co. Louth in the north - east of Northern Leinster in the Colley Peninsular that separated Carlingford Loch from Dundalk Bay.  

880 AD Hywel Dda, the son of Cadell, the son of Rhodri Maw, the previous King of Wales, was born this year.

885 AD The Tuetonic Scandinavian Vikings under Rollo besieged Paris in France and become known as the Normans / Men of the North and their territory Normandy.

       Alfred the Great the Tuetonic Germanic Saxon King of Wessex and Briton recovered London on the River Thames / Tamhisc / Thamius / tam (still) Isc (water.) from the Tuetonic Vikings.

889 AD 98.Donald 11 / Domhnall mac Constantine became the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Scottii King of Scotland taking in all of the territories of the Scottii, the Picts and Strathclyde.

891 AD Alfred - the Great was visited by 3 Irish men who had escaped into exile and landed in Cornwall after a voyage of 7 days from Ireland.

893 AD The Tuetonic Vikings decided to carry out a great invasion of Briton but they were defeated.

895 AD Alfred - the Great the Tuetonic Germanic Saxon King of Briton captured the Tuetonic Viking fleet.

898 AD The Tuetonic Vikings attacked Armagh monastery in Co. Armagh again, from out of their base to the north on Loch Foyle in the Ulster Province.

899 AD October 26th: Alfred - the Great, died, at 50 years of age, and his oldest son from Ealhswith, Edward - the Elder became the new Tutonic Germanic Anglo - Saxon King in Albion / Briton. 

900 AD 98.Donald 11 the Heremonian Dal Cuinn Scottii King of Albany / Scotland was killed by the Tuetonic Scandinavian Viking Danes in the Battle of Dunnottar near Montrose, and his body was also interred on the holy island of Iona of the "Kindred of 94.St. Columbcille." and 98.Constantine 11, the son of 97.Aedh, and a cousin of 98.Donald 11 became the new Heremonian Dal Cuinn Scottii King of Albany / Scotland.

     The Scandinavian Tuetonic Vikings fleet tied up on Loch Neagh in the Ulster Province.
