GALL - Stones - Cholelithiasis / see also Kidney Stones - Stones to pass. Mainly effects the middle - aged and those who are Overweight.
Cause: Not fully understood but may be a Metabolic Disorder that is related to Diet.
Symptoms: May be occurring without any symptoms showing but if a Stone moves it may obstruct the common Bile Duct or Neck of the Gall Bladder resulting in agonising pain radiating from the upper right side of the Abdomen through to the Back and Right Shoulder. Other symptoms are Rapid Pulse, pain or discomfort after eating Fatty meals, Mild Jaundice and / or excessive Flatulence. A complete blockage of the common Bile Duct requires emergency treatment as it may develop into Gangrene. * Increased risk if the Diet is low in Phosphates or Protein or consuming food high in Oxalates such as Black Tea, Coffee, Lamb's Quarters, Purslane, Rhubarb and Spinach. N.B: Especially be aware of Herbal formulas with Rhubarb or Sheep Sorrel. Prevention is the best treatment for Gall Stones. Eat a well - balanced diet low in Animal Fat as most Gall Stones are composed of Cholesterol found in Animal Fat. Eat Pears as the have a healing effect on the Gall Bladder. Include Lecithin Foods in the diet as it increases the Phospholipid concentration in the Gall Bladder, which is missing from those with this Condition. Use a little Olive Oil each day in the diet on Salads or to mash Potatoes as it stimulates the flow of Bile assisting to flush out small stones and stimulates production of the Fat - splitting Enzyme, Lipase. Maintain the correct weight for height, as most suffering this Condition are Overweight. Drink 4 cups of Dandelion Tea each day as it not only prevents this Condition but can dissolve them as it has a direct effect on the Liver increasing the flow of Bile and also directs action on the Gall Bladder. This causes contractions that force out stored Bile and small Gravel Stones. Then the increased Bile flow also increases the amount of Chendesoxycholic Acid that is found in Bile that will also eventually dissolve Gall Stones. Eat foods containing Vitamins C and E as these are important to increase Bile Acids reducing the risk of this Condition and also dissolve Cholesterol Stones. Restrict the intake of foods that create the symptoms such as Eggs but individuals differ and it is important to establish actually which foods do. Cleanse the Bowel first with a Fig Sausage. Oil can remove the Stones but you must be able to consume 300 - 500ml in one go. Take the Oil and alternate with Lemon Juice lying on your Right Side for 2 hours. Restrict the intake of Fat as it requires Bile Salts that are stored in the Gall Bladder for assimilation into the Body and their Ingestion can precipitate an attack. Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage & Cauliflower are Gas - forming and can increase the risk of an attack. Flushing: Use Vegetable Oil, Lemon Juice and Apple Cider Vinegar but if the Stone is too large it may block the Bile Duct so it is better to carry out prevention procedures beforehand. Should a Gall Bladder be removed by surgery avoid Digestive disturbances by restricting Protein and Fat in the diet. Symptoms: A form of Arthritis with severe Inflammation of the Joints usually the Big Toes with excruciating pain.
Cause: A Chemical defect known as Hyperuricemia as excessive amounts of Uric Acid - Urate of Soda form in the Blood and above a certain point the Uric Acid Crystals - Urate or Sodium Urate combine and collect in the affected Joints, Kidneys and Skin and this needs to be prevented. They can also form in the major Organs doing considerable damage so despite avoiding the pain there is an even greater reason to keep it under control. 95% of those with Gout are Men over 30 years of age, 10 - 20% of the population have elevated Uric Acid levels but only 3 people in 1,000 actually experience Gout. Harmful Germs situated without the Body and especially within the Lower Bowel cause Infection depleting and weakening the Body as they thrive on Alkaline conditions while Acidity kills them. The normal healthy Cells are like Grapes and the unhealthy Cells are like Raisins as the Colloid Particles in the Cells are liberated by Infection creating heat with the release also of the electricity stored from within the Cells. When the Cells collapse the Calcium goes into a crystalline state as dehydration occurs and the crystals go into the Bloodstream and if they are not excreted they are deposited in the Tissues. This must be reversed by re- hydration to recreate an Acid state by eating Fruits (not Citrus), Berries, Edible Leaves and Roots. Boiling creates Alkalinity as the Calcium goes out of Solution and must be returned to Solution by the inclusion of Acidity. This occurs with the use of Apple Cider Vinegar on Baked Beans, Cranberry on Chicken, ACV with Ham and Pork, Mint Sauce containing Vinegar with Lamb, Lemon with Fish & Seafood, Mushrooms (Citric Acid) with Steak. Alkalinity as such creates Thicker Blood, which in turn creates Higher Blood Pressure due to the increased pressure to move it around the Bloodstream brought on by High Protein diets such as Cheese, Eggs, Fish, Muscle Meats & Poultry. A slightly more Acid reaction creates Thinner Blood, as there is already sufficient Sodium Bicarbonate normally already in the Blood to handle any Acidity. N.B: Can be brought on by an excessive consumption of Alcohol, Stress or prior injury. Medical Treatment: The prescribed medicinal remedy is Allopurinol - Colgout but this must be taken every day for the rest of your life and also had many side effects. Litmus Test: Obtain Litmus paper and test Urine before a meal Blue - Alkaline / Red - Acidity. Cloudy Urine usually means Alkaline. Avoid Alcohol and take - away foods such as Chinese. Increase Fluid intake to 6 - 8 glasses per day and drink plenty of tepid Water. Change to a more natural Organic Diet that is a raw Diet low in Fats and moderate in the intake of Protein. Avoid foods containing a high level of Purine (All Organ Meats: Brains, Heart, Kidney, Liver and Sweetbreads.) Oranges, Oysters, Pate, Peas, Prawns, Salami, Sardines in Oil, Shellfish, Tomatoes, whole Wheat Cereal, Yeast. N.B: Low Purine diets are lower in Vitamin B, and therefore Vitamin B Complex should be taken or Foods containing Vitamin B Complex. Do not take Aspirin to avoid rises in the Uric Acid level. Sudden changes in weight can cause a rise so any reduction or increase should be gradual. Chicken and Fish must be grilled or steamed but Fish is best for Human consumption along with Cheese, Eggs and Seafood for Protein. Eat Cereals (except whole - Wheat) Enriched Bread, Butter, Fruit, Milk & Vegetables. Lose weight and exercise more regularly.
