MORNING SICKNESS: Symptoms: Usually Dizziness, Nausea and a general ill feeling that Pregnant Women experience on getting up in the morning and sometimes for much of the day during the first Trimester while some experience it much longer. Herbs: Black Horehound, Cabbage, Citrus Fruits and Juices, Ginger, Peach, Peppermint and Raspberry. * Some Women experience relief when snacking on dry crackers immediately after rising and eat small, frequent meals during the day. Black Horehound: used to treat the Nausea created by Motion Sickness and may be useful as a treatment for Vomiting due to Pregnancy or Nervousness. Cabbage: Raw or cooked or as a Juice or Sauerkraut were used for Stomach distress especially Sauerkraut Juice to sooth overactive Intestines that contribute to Morning Sickness. Citrus Fruits: a small piece of Grapefruit, Orange or Tangerine Rind added to beverage Tea assists to reliever Morning Sickness. Ginger: used to treat this Stomach upsetting Condition by drinking up to 2 cups a day of the Tea. Juices: combine Ginger, Kiwi, Mint & Pineapple and / or Apple, Carrot and Ginger and / or Apple, Fennel, Ginger and Peppermint or Spearmint. Peach: Leaves and Bark are used to make a Tea for Morning Sickness as the Leaves contain Benzaldehyde to relieve the Condition and if using the Bark do not use more then a teaspoon. Peppermint: and other Mints - contain Menthol a cooling Anesthetic Stomach soother that relieves Stomach distress but is not the best source of Menthol, which goes to Corn Mint then Mountain Mint N.B: Do not use Mountain Mint during Pregnancy) Water Mint and Virginia Mountain Mint. N.B: Only drink a cup or two at a time as large amounts may trigger miscarriage. Raspberry Leaves: used to curb the Nausea of Morning Sickness as it is used for Women's Conditions from Menstrual Cramp to Morning Sickness and Labor pains. It is reputed to contain a constituent that is readily Extracted with hot water that relaxes the smooth Muscles of the Uterus. Drink up to 3 cups a day or combine with Ginger, Mint and a little Lemon. Red Raspberry and Peppermint Tea and drink a cup in the morning before getting out of bed and Red Raspberry Tea at mealtimes for the rest of the day. Also take Ginger and Vitamin B6, 25mg daily. Use the Raspberry Tea from the 2nd Trimester only.
MOTION
SICKNESS - Symptoms: A feeling of Nausea, Dizziness and when
will it all end feeling. Herbs:
Ginger: can be munched raw, or
put a few teaspoons in Tea or you can buy it in Capsules or drink Ginger
Ale providing its real Ginger. Tea:
Chop up a 2" section of Ginger Root and
stir it in with dashes of Chamomile Flowers, Fennel,
Orange Peel, Peppermint and / or Spearmint and
steep with a few cups of water for 15 minutes. A dash of Cinnamon
can be added, if required. Juice:
2 Apples, 1 Pear
and a 1" section of Ginger Root. Blend: 1 cup of fresh Pineapple
chunks, 1 - 2 Kiwi Fruits, a 1" section of Ginger
Root and a few pinches of Mint. Raspberry
Leaf Tea: used for the Nausea of Motion
Sickness and could be combined with Ginger
to make a Tea.

MOUTH - Ulcers: Symptoms: Can be very painful. Cause: can be triggered by Allergies including Pineapple in sensitive people or little Pimples on the Tongue or Bites inside of Cheeks can Ulcerate. Indication of a run down System - Health that has to be improved. Boil a handful of Carrot Leaves in 300ml for 5 minutes, cool and use as a Gargle. Put 1 Tablespoon of Salt and 2 drops of Tea Tree Oil in 600ml warm boiled water and rinse the Mouth regularly. Vitamin B Complex such as in Brewer's Yeast & Vitamin C - Lemons and Rosehips to deal with Stress. Add Zinc also to the diet. Herbs: Thyme: Used as a Mouth Wash. Infuse Sage & Gargle regularly or Chew fresh Leaves. Also use Chamomile, Echinacea & Raspberry. Oil of Cloves: assists to numb the Pain. Mouth Ulcer Formula: 1/3 Glycerine, 1/3 Oil of Cloves and 1/3 Tea Tree Oil and mix together and dab onto a cotton bud and apply to the Mouth Ulcers. Diet Formula: Vitamin B Complex morning and night, Zinc 25mg a day.
MUD FEVER / Also see Greasy Heel - Horses: Wash with Copper Sulphate (30% Solution) to dry it up and put 1 x Teaspoon of Copper Sulphate in the feed daily for a day or two. Add Seaweed Meal, (which is best to use) on a permanent basis, or Copper Sulphate with Dolomite as an antidote. Dark coloured Horses are more prone as they require more Copper then Light coloured Horses.

Symptoms: Chronic Illness of the Nervous System effecting mostly Women with 2 /3 in those 20 - 40 years of age with the Myelin Sheath that covers the major Nerves breaking down causing minute electrical malfunctions within the Nerves. Symptoms differ with some experiencing Weakness to Paralysis and most they come and go and after each attack some people return to normal while others have residual disability.
Cause: Is a yet uncertain, but as it often appears in clusters there is a theory that it may be a Virus or similar type Micro - organism creating the problem or it may be an Auto - Immune disease with the Immune System mistaking the Myelin Sheath for an invader. Another theory links MS to a high Fat diet and advises decreasing the amount of Saturated Fat found in Dairy products and Meat. Get on a natural food diet & lifestyle. Include plenty of whole Grains especially Oats. Tincture should be massaged into the affected parts. Also use Chamomile, Hypericum and Thyme Oils to do the same. Tale alternative Stinging Nettle and Thyme Hip baths - 200grm of Herbs soaked in 5 Litres of cold water for 12 hours - Heat, Strain and add to bath water. Do not dry off but put on a dressing gown and go straight to bed and work up a sweat for an hour. Also take Sage Tea, Yarrow Tea and Swedish Bitters. Herbs: Black Currant Oil: contains Gamma - Linolenic Acid / GLA - used to treat MS as it is an Anti - Inflammatory used to treat Auto - Immune disorders. Dosage: 500mg twice a day for 8 weeks. This compound is also in Borage and Evening Primrose / EPO. Chamomile: Comfrey: Blueberry: contain Oligomeric Procyanidins / OPC's - used to prevent the breakdown of Tissues such as Myelin Sheaths that surround the Nerve Fibres. And have Anti - Inflammatory activity that may relieve MS symptoms. Evening Primrose: is rich in GLA / Gamma - Linolenic Acid. Hypericum: Pineapple: contains Enzymes, Pancreatin & Bromelain that break up Protein Molecules that are also anti - Inflammatory and reduce the level of circulating Immune complexes / CIC's - that occur in a number of Auto - Immune diseases including MS. Used also as a Tincture to massage to strengthen Limbs of weak Children. Yarrow Root Tea:
MUMPS: Symptoms: Highly Infectious - The Throat Glands before the Ear swell up quickly with a feeling of low spirits and debility. Apply wet sheet treatment at the start of the Fever or apply wet clothes to the Head sprinkled with Lavender water or Mint. Sponge the Body down night & morning with this Water. No solid food until the Temperature is back to Normal. Warmth and rest in bed until Temperature has Subsided in a quiet atmosphere. Use subdued lighting and be on hand as much as possible. No Fruit Juices. Use Cold Compresses to restrict swelling or a Phytolacca Poultice. Herbs: Poke Root. Anti - Septic - such as Garlic & Onions, Vervain and Wormwood mixed with Honey or in Capsules. Itching: Chamomile and Chickweed Lotion or Aloe Vera and Comfrey or Chickweed Cream.

& asymmetry. Check the Bite alignment of
the Teeth, which may be Overshot or Undershot,
which can be due to faulty, or a lack of proper Dentistry. Ride at a Walk, Trot
& Canter in a straight line on a firm surface and listen carefully to the
beat. 4 to Walk, 2 to Trot and 3 to canter. A Horse should bend easily if balanced
& straight. If the front Feet are
unequal in size this may be because the load is on that particular Shoulder
and is Stabbing the ground with that foot
and the Frog is not getting the proper Circulation.
Once balanced properly within 3 months the Feet
should be equal. Muscle Tissue takes longer to
regenerate then most other Body Tissues and exercise
needs to be implemented to rebuild the Mass
and extra Protein may be required during this
time. To this end, Black Sunflower Seeds & Soybean
Meal should be added to the food.

MYXOEDEMA: Symptoms: Due to the removal or failure of the Thyroid Gland with progressive Mental and Physical deterioration resulting and with increased weight gain.
