Descended from Gilbert de Angulo One of the Anglo - Norman Barons subject to Hugh de Lacy during the Anglo - Norman Invasion under Henry 11, and also from his son, Jocelyn de Angulo / Nangle. Gilbert de Angulo's father was Oisdealb, and some changed to Nangle, and or Mac Costello / Costelloe / Mac Oisdealbhaigh
